Welcome to Wikimedia Commons, Janstoecklin!

Dear Janstoecklin,

I am a Prof. in Architecture and I am currently redacting a book titled “History of Interior Design and Furniture” and it will be published in Turkish edition. I would like to use your image from "https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Schloss_sanssouci_potsdam_von_innen.jpg." At the end of the book, the name of the beholder of the image is noted in ‘Picture Credits.’ Do you prefer us to use your nickname in Wikipedia or we can note your proper name if you prefer.

Best regards,

Mustafa Demirkan mustafaemindemirkan@gmail.com

Dear Mustafa,

my username is enough, thanks for asking.

Regards Jan

Dear Jan,

Many apologies for my late reply and thank you very much for your permission. The caption to your photograph will include a number referenced in the Picture Credits page where the credit will read as 'Gift of Janstoecklin'.

Thank you again and wish you the very best for 2018.

Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
