Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Dear Gbawden,
I'm Joan Gómez Alemany,
As these paintings are painted by a dead painter and I am a direct family of him, I am the owner of his rights. I also made the photographs of these paintings and I am now making a book with many other researchers on this artist to spread his work, that is why we have uploaded the images to make them known with the creative commons license, without any commercial purpose only for educational purposes and cultural. We are not interested in promoting and making money from these images, which is why we chose wikipedia as the encyclopedia. An entry has already been created in wikipedia made by several authors about this artist: https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicente_G%C3%B3mez_Garc%C3%ADa
For now the book I name is not published, it will be published in 20 days, I can send you the link and you can verify that my name and that of many others is associated with this artist.
I hope that these images are not erased since they are free knowledge and it is a culture destined for pedagogical and humanitarian purposes.
Thank you very much for your attention,
Joan Gómez Alemany 88.8.242.173 10:10, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
