UmuChieze is a family name and a descendants of David Theophilus Chukwubueze of Umu Agu, Isiokwe Otu Aguleri in Anambra East Local Government Area (LGA) in Anambra State of Nigeria. UmuChieze is officially known as David Theophils Chukwubueze. UmuChieze is made up of chieze David, King Eleazar Nwachukwubueze David and others: Umuchieze, Chieze Group and Chieze Consltant. The headquarters is located in the Indigenous administrative town of Umu Agu Isiokwe otu Mkpunando Aguleri, located in Aguleri Otu (Mmanyii) . The administrative capital is Umu Agu in Isiokwe Otu Mkpunando Aguleri[has been in ancient and modern times political and administrative rallying points for Mkpunando autonomous communities. The major towns of Aguleri are three major Distrcts namely, Ivite, Ugwu-na-Adagbe These family and families have been organised and re-organized a number of times over the years with their traditional Heads known as Ndi-Eze. The first Head is Chieze David and Umuchieze. The Ndi-Eze rule with their Sub-Chiefs and Eze-in-councils. The major occupation of the Aguleri people include agriculture, trading and mining of granite, Steel, quorite, laterite, Oil and Gas The main agricultural food crops are cassava, yam, black beans and cocoyam. The cash crops are palm nuts and cashew nuts. These also constitute foundation of industrial activities in the area. In addition there schools, churches and clay and pottery activities. The size of Umu AGU is 368 km² in land area and a population of 163,928, according to the 2006 Nigeria National Census. The postal code of the area is 441.[1] References 1. 1.
