Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.

Albanian flag[edit]

You sir, you did very great work on finding that legislation. So the flag is CMYK 0-100-100-K; that is a start. I do have a flag that was sent from Tirana by my dad in 2004 and I need to see what color it is. As for the eagle, I am going to look at the law some more and see what else can be done. However, I do have a question for you. Can you locate http://www.qpz.gov.al/doc.jsp?doc=docs/Vendim%20Nr%20473%20Dat%C3%AB%2010-07-2003.htm in a PDF copy, mostly so I can see the size of the eagle when on the flag? I was able to find that document from http://www.qpz.gov.al/botime/fletore_zyrtare/2003/PDF-2003/58-2003.pdf but it still fails to give a construction sheet for the Albanian flag at all. Albanian Eagle[edit]

Please find the latest law for the albanian eagle, otherwise restore the version im talking about, i assure you that is the original one. Because the government might not have found the official version when it was uploaded in the PDF, and i really think it's a remake see here: http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/logo/albania-1 and match the difference. I think that eagle image is from us, actually. The only issue I have now is just how big the eagle is supposed to be on the flag. I have not been able to find the technical drawing "Përmasat teknike të flamurit kombëtar" that we need. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 04:42, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Let me remind you Ilbiochimico, that the albanian government didn't upload the official eagle version of 1992 in the pdf document of 2003, it is garbled with a remake version, this is a shame for them.. Even Madonna when she set her song "american life" http://facedl.com/fvideo.php?f=auiqiionoxqxiie&madonna-american-lifeofficial-video-music in the 02:03 min you can see the original flag of albania. I've searched for albania flag vector many times in google and mostly found this version: http://www.vectorportal.com/subcategory/22/ALBANIA-VECTOR-FLAG.eps/ifile/1338/detailtest.asp also you can see the date when it was added and it's 31 October 2005. So could you please revert this version that i'm talking about? You have to understand cause i wouldn't ever discuss this if it wasn't messed up. My dear, you are talking about old laws without sources.the sources above are not official. even if you maybe are right, there are more recent law that the '92 one.. there is a new flag law 8926 date 22.07.2002 and Vendim i KM 474 10.07.2003 that talk clearly how the eagle and CoA must be. so close this discussion please.
