Нарушены права разработчиков программ (вы загружаете производную работу как свою собственную) и правила Викисклада, который не принимает несвободные изображения, в частности скришноты программ, распространяемых под несвободными лицензиями. Аналогичный скриншот никого не волнует по той причине, что загружен в русской Википедии в соответствии с критериями добросовестного использования. Просьба

Добрый день. Хотел бы попросить Вас удалить первые (замещенные, переписанные) версии следующих файлов: File:Шопенгауэр. Полное собрание сочинений. Т. I (1910).pdf (версию 17:35, 9 декабря 2017), File:Шопенгауэр. Полное собрание сочинений. Т. II (1910).pdf (версию 13:58, 9 декабря 2017), File:Шопенгауэр. Полное собрание сочинений. Т. III (1910).pdf (версию 14:20, 9 декабря 2017). Поскольку файлы тяжелые, из-за наличия двух версий они долго грузятся в используемый проект (используются в Викитеке), сложно работать. Перезаписывались они в связи с устранением дефектов (отсутствующие или перепутанные страницы), так что необходимости в старых версиях нет. Спасибо! Ratte (talk) 12:51, 12 March 2018 (UTC)

Здравствуйте, уважаемый коллега. Обращаюсь к Вам относительно данного удаления. Эта персона является обладателем авторских прав на свое фото о чем он сообщил и указал лицензию. Я прекрасно понимаю, что "usually is not a copyright holder", но мы не расцениваем "usually", а расцениваем данный конкретный случай. Could you please explain...

You closed the deletion discussion on File:Sexy Librarian (4406073036).jpg as delete, due to it being out of scope. Um, I didn't see anyone explaining why the image was out of scope, during the discussion.

Excuse me, but SCOPE is not a Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion, is it? Doesn't Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion say attempts to create encyclopedic content on commons can be candidates for speedy deletion, due to scope, because encyclopedia pages belong on a wikipedia, without saying anything about the speedy deletion of images because they are not in scope?

About a dozen years ago, when I was much less experienced, and didn't really know that much about templates, I created half a dozen templates on enwiki. A few months later two of them were nominated for deletion, and kept, I think. During the TfD for the third one I thought I had found superior arguments to the arguments for deletion, and I expected that template to be kept, as well. I was surprised when the administrator who closed the discussion justified deletion for a brand new reason, one not mentioned in the discussion.

I try to be respectful when I ask an administrator a question about their decisions. I asked that administrator if they thought deletion was in order, but for a brand new reason, whether they shouldn't have chosen to weigh in with that reason, in the discussion, rather than use it for their closing statement? How could those favoring keep offer counter-arguments to a justification not offered during the discussion?

Well, they were respectful, in reply, and offered a brief explanation for their closure, which was so informative and so clear, I deleted all the other templates I had created. I hadn't really understood templates, and neither had anyone in the three discussions. But that administrator did understand them.

Okay, it is a dozen years later. I accept that, both here, and on enwiki, a closing administrator is completely authorized to close a discussion over whether to delete or retain material, for a brand new reason, not mentioned in the discussion, provided that reason is a speedy deletion criteria.

Maybe, like that administrator twelve years ago, you will offer me a convincing reason why this image really merited deletion. If you can I will happily acknowledge being convinced.

But, if you think the notion of "sexy librarian", in and of itself, is out of scope, I think you have a very hard argument to make. Hundreds, of scholarly articles deal with the meme/archetype/stereotype of a "sexy librarian". It is an encyclopedic topic, that merits coverage on our wikipedias. File:This woman was trying for a sexy librarian look (3708132070).jpg is in use, in enwiki article space.

Perhaps you accept, in general, that images that are described as images of sexy librarians can be in scope, but you particularly reject File:Sexy Librarian (4406073036).jpg? If that is the case, can you explain why it, particularly, is not in scope? Geo Swan (talk) 22:50, 14 May 2018 (UTC)

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2017 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the twelfth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2017) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top 2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2017.

Round 2 will end on 22 July 2018, 23:59 UTC.

I notice you've tagged numerous files in Category:John Fairbairn Anderson Collection, such as File:191. Old Dam, Peterborough, Ont., 1907 (25920390133).jpg. These files are in the public domain, both in Canada and the US, and I've already properly tagged them with the appropriate licence. This question is about Commons:Deletion requests/File:Inauguration of Moon Jae-in 02.png from 18 May 2017. I like the humour in the style of your closing decision of that deletion request. However, I wonder if the substance of the decision is correct. Did you check the exact contents of the OTRS ticket 2014070110000717? I do not have access to OTRS, but in the case of a flickr account of an organization, we usually ask a OTRS ticket to verify that the organization has obtained, from the photographer, sufficient rights to offer the licenses indicated on the flick pages. So, normally, in a case like this, the OTRS ticket would say that the organization owns the sufficient rights to offer the licenses that the organization actually indicates on the flickr pages of the photos. Indeed, the template:Korea.net explicitly says that it applies to files that are licensed on Flickr under the CC by-sa 2.0 license. It does not say that it applies to other files that are not licensed under this license. But in the deletion decision, you seemed to interpret the OTRS ticket as if it said that all the photos of the flickr account have a free license even when they do not have a free license. This seems strange and it sounds like it could be a mistake. Could you please confirm what the OTRS ticket says exactly? Thank you in advance. -- Asclepias (talk) 22:45, 3 September 2018 (UTC)

Данное фото было взято из личного архива присутствующего на фото человека с его согласия. Фото по адресу http://www.stgau.ru/company/personal/user/8287 было размещено им же и является его личной страницей на сайте университета.

Не могли бы вы подсказать, как лучше всего запросить отмену удаления фотографии и какая информация в поддержку такого запроса необходима?

I was surprised by your decision regarding Commons:Deletion requests/File:Vietnam memorial soldiers by Frederick Hart, Washington, D.C LCCN2010630680.tif. Why do you think {{PD-US-1978-89}} applies here? The statue has a copyright notice on it, as the name Frederic Hart is engraved in the work. And as the Three Soldiers are from 1984, the copyright was still valid in 1989. The Wikipedia article en:The_Three_Soldiers explicitly mentions the copyright. Thus the statue is non-free, and because there is no freedom of panorama in the US for statues, but only for works of architecture, we can't have images on Commons. Не представляю, как вырванная из контекста уголовного дела фотография может соответствовать этому определению. Для начала: это не Ваша собственная, а производная работа. И про «знак "копирайт" или иной, предусмотренный законом» Вы сами придумали или где-то прочитали? Нет, иллюстрация "диск в коробке" делалась лично мной и никакого копирайта там не стояло и не стоит. А вот пример с файлом для "Битвы экстрасенсов", который как раз является логотипом передачи и имеет копирайт не указано точной информации, однако демонстрируется, что якобы он свободен для использования. Если сделать поиск по источнику сайта "Кинопоиск" (который заблокирован в русскоязычном отделе Википедии как спам), то тут будет очень много файлов с нарушением авторского права.
