SVG chemical formulas[edit]

Hello Hattrich, why you convert all formulas to the ionization version? Is this really compellingly? And why you upload raster/pixel version as SVG? You can also answer/ask here: COM:GVP #Problem rendering chemical structures The other point is file: Alanin.svg in the same time an example for an very rare SVG bug. No offense, thank you anyway for your contributions.User: Perhelion (Commons: = crap?)  16:37, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Perhelion,

I guess it's already been explained by Wesalius. Sorry for the replacing, I didn't realize it wouldn't be a bad idea to have them both, ionized and unionized version.--Hattrich (talk) 20:24, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

What I dont't understand is that both Wesalius and you upload structures of chemicals, of which there are already many alternatives available in the subcategories of Category:Proteinogenic amino acids. --Leyo 20:46, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It is because our project structure demands that the whole project has uniform looking structures, we sure could google every compound there was, but the outcome will be a mediawiki widget used for self-testing of students at wikiskripta.eu therefore we need the structures to have similar characteristics, is it clear now? --Wesalius (talk) 21:14, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks @Leyo for your view (here and there). @Hattrich, yes it does. I guess now it's ok, if you convert/change it to an ionization version (as real and correct SVG, I was only very wondering about this and you). Go ahead. GreetingsUser: Perhelion (Commons: = crap?)  21:25, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Wesalius: The SVG chemical structures uploaded by the most active users in this area do have a uniform style. That's why I sent you the ChemDraw Style Sheet file with the corresponding settings. --Leyo 21:46, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Leyo: That is great to hear, but we did not know that when we started our work on the structures (I think it is understandable that we did not browse de.wiki guides...). Our chemistry teacher that consults us on the structures had a lot of comments about those we presented from commons, so we figured out it will be faster to make them for scratch. We will use the style sheet for our future work. Thanks. --Wesalius (talk) 21:53, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Wesalius: Also users from en.wikipedia use these or very similar settings (see these examples). --Leyo 22:27, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
