There are many places where your help is appreciated, here just a few to start:

• Category:Media needing categories
• Category:Media needing category review
• Category:Media missing infobox template
• finding and tagging copyright violations

Well, you can also hunt for copyvios and out of scope images from User:OgreBot/Uploads by new users, User:OgreBot/Notable uploads and User:SteinsplitterBot/Possible copyvios. You can nominate them for regular deletion (for out of scope images/images that violate FoP/derivative works etc) or speedy deletion (for obvious copyvios). Not just that, you can help to patrol for vandalism and spam. Have a look at COM:CVU. This would be a useful link for you. Best, Jianhui67 ^{talk★contribs} 18:38, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

Foto Wiener Blut / Lizenz

Hallo, erst einmal Entschuldigung, dass ich gleich mit scheinbar allen Regeln breche, obwohl ich eigentlich dachte mich gut informiert zu haben... Ich habe den Hinweis auch von einem weiteren User bekommen und werde noch heute veranlassen, dass beide Bilder durch eine Mail an das OTRS-Team von Herrn Enzinger perönlich autorisiert werden (Textvorlage "Einverständnis für Bild") und somit ohne Probleme in der Wikipedia genutzt werden können. Ich hoffe, das ist okay... Für die Zukunft werde ich mich besser daran halten um solchen Missverständnissen von vornherein aus dem Weg zu gehen. Hello @Túrelio: . No, there is no active OTRS discussion between agents or active tickets that I would know about. The behavior of this account on FLickr is not normal and should be handled by them. The ticket just says that the owner of the Flicker account changed all licences in batch (and might not have corrected the description). 'Should have been', yeah, but I think 'might not have corrected the description' kind of addresses it. I suspect the restrictions are an artifact of the images previously being embargoed, and that the CC license is intended. Revent (talk) 12:38, 14 October 2015 (UTC)

Photos deleted

I uploaded two photos which you deleted for copyright problems. I am new here so I might have made a mistake. Please clarify. I got the photos from here http://www.andreaiervolinoproducer.com/photogallery/ The photos that I used had this "Copyright free. This picture is available to be used freely without attribution)" written under them. Why is it not allowed on Wikipedia.

I know. An opposition has been made since the text is unclear ("copyright free") and "available to use" is not enough to permit edition. For this picture, we will need the explicit permission from the author to put these picture under a free licence. --Scoopfinder^(d) 15:19, 7 October 2015 (UTC)

Problem with the artist template

Hello, I have uploaded this image], where I use the artwork template. In the Artist field, I use the Template:Artist, so the image can have more info about the artist. However, you replaced the {{ with [[ and with this way the artist template is not visible. What am I doing wrong here? I am new, so maybe there is something, that I don't know? Thanks! About __NOINDEX__

I noindexed Commons:Requests for rights and Commons:Bots/Requests because folks may get annoyed when those two becomes number 1 due to their name. I got this idea from the robots.txt of Wikimedia Commons. I am okay for __NOINDEX__ to be removed from Commons:Bots/Requests (I think it is not too popular either) and Category:Photos taken by Louadfel, but Commons:Requests for rights is a popular one, so I hope you can reconsider at COM:RFR. And if you haven't noticed, I also noindexed Template:Administrators' noticeboard so the whole Administrators' noticeboard (and its subpages) will be noindexed too.
