Hello RikiDF, the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:

The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
  • use in any work, regardless of content
  • creation of derivative works
  • commercial use
  • free distribution

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.

Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.

And also:

Yours sincerely, Эlcobbola talk 17:08, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright status[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their source is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Эlcobbola talk 17:08, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Hello RikiDF.

You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful.

This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions.

Request reason: "Hello, today I decided to write my first wikipedia article about PollmixaN YouTuber. I contacted him personally, asked permission to use his photo uploaded on the VK social network, as well as to upload his art drawing in an article on Wikipedia, for which I received permission and uploaded it to wikipedia commons. At first everything worked out (I didn't add any license), but after a while I decided to add a license type, but I didn't know how to do it. After two unsuccessful attempts to add the same photo, but with a license, I got blocked. I understand that I violated the licensing rules, but I don't quite understand how it works correctly, after all, this is my first day on wikipedia. I'm sorry, this won't happen again after I figure out the rules of your site! RikiDF (talk) 17:31, 25 January 2023 (UTC)"[reply]
Decline reason: "Please learn Commons copyright policy. You can start here. You have whole week for that, because your block lasts one week. As much as I understand, you have oral permission from copyright holder. For Commons, oral permission is not enough. Too many people have lied, that they have oral permission, while they don't. Commons demands written permission. There's two ways to do that. At first, copyright holder can publish his/her work under free license, for example in social network VK. At second, copyright holder can send permission for Commons (please open COM:VRT page and look, what kind of e-mail must be sent to Commons permissions department at permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. You have no deadline for doing that, but if the permission e-mail is accepted and at least one of your uploads restored before your block ends, then you can request unblock again. Another problem – YouTubers are often not worth of article and their files can be deleted despite having correct permission, but as you were blocked for copyright violation, notability of PollmixaN is not important at moment. Request reason: "The copyright holder of the VKontakte network posted his work under a free license for a long time, I just stumbled upon the topic of copyright just now and did not fully understand how to post works on your site (yesterday). I agree that "YouTubers are often not worth an article," but this person is not only a YouTube, but also a musician-performer. I'm completely new to Wikipedia and didn't know how to save part of my first article that I wrote yesterday, so I had to publish it. Naturally, this is not the end, this is just the beginning. And this person deserves a separate article on your site."
Decline reason: "The block is expired. Happy editing! Taivo (talk) 14:04, 2 February 2023 (UTC)"[reply]

  •  Oppose - This is not a venue in which you offer unresponsive requests until you get the desired outcome. This request relates to the deletion of ru:Поляков, Михаил Владиславович. This is the Commons, not ru.wiki, and the account was blocked here for copyvios, not COM:NOTHOST. No demonstration that this issue is understood is on offer; for example, copyright initially vests in the author (photographer), not the mere subject. The claims " I contacted [the subject] personally, asked permission to use his photo" and "The copyright holder (sic - subject) of the VKontakte network posted his work under a free license for a long time" only confirm copyright is not understood.
