File:Gronemann Kongressrichter.png.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. File is in the common domain, no?[edit]
File is in the common domain, no? Schlehmiehl (talk) 17:28, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
- (isn't the right spelling "schlemiel"?) Copyright is complicated. Any work that's over 120 years old can generally be assumed to be in the public domain. Works from Germany of which the author has died more than 70 years ago are also in the public domain. The movie in question is from 1935, without knowing who the author is we can't determine the copyright status. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 17:40, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
