Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Category:Finca "Pausílipo" del Doctor Belisario Porras‎

Hi Vsanchez,

I'm not sure I understand the problem. There were a great many photos in Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Los Santos Province. Some of them were clearly named and categorized, some were not. So I created sub-categories for many (five in total) of the specific monuments in that category and made them subcategories of Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Los Santos Province. See Category:Iglesia_de_San_Atanasio_(Los_Santos) for example. I also created Category:Finca "Pausílipo" del Doctor Belisario Porras‎ for that specific monument, and placed images of that monument in that category. The category is a sub-category of Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Los Santos Province. You have removed some but not all of the images of that monument from that category. Because Category:Finca "Pausílipo" del Doctor Belisario Porras‎ is a subcategory of Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Los Santos Province, no image should be in both categories. Commons now has 8 images of that monument, so I don't see the problem with the monument having its own category. I'll wait to hear from you again before I add them back into their category. Thanks. Hi Vsanchez, please take a look at Commons:Categories. The categories I created are sub-categories of Category:Cultural heritage monuments in Los Santos Province, and a file should not be in both a category and a sub-category. Anyone searching for cultural heritage monuments in Los Santos Province will find that category, and all the subcategories, so these files won't be lost to searches. If you'd like you can add more information to the files themselves, which will help them turn up higher in searches. - Themightyquill (talk) 19:33, 3 January 2015 (UTC)
