Image description quality
[edit]Hello and thank you for contributing. Could you please add more useful file information to the images you upload. E.g. the description of Paulo Paulo.png is "qffasasfdas", when a more appropriate description would tell me what kind of election it is, in which year it took place, and that it was held in Brazil. For categorization I would suggest one of the subcategories of Elections in Brazil by year. If you want to learn more about how categories work, there's an official policy page at Commons:Categories. File:The Rockefeller Win of 1968.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Commons is not for personal files
[edit]Do not upload files about your fictional or alternate history works to Commons. This includes election maps, flags, insignia, and other files. Commons has a specific project scope that requires files to have educational or historical value. Commons is not a personal webhost, and files solely for personal use (such as for illustrating web forums and games) are not allowed. Such files will be deleted, and you may be blocked from editing if you continue to upload these files. |
