This media was probably deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:BenjaminMadrid ActorandWife.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:BenjaminMadrid ActorandWife.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Hello,
I have sent the email. This set of photos were taken by Lucaus Saugen Photography (a friend of mine) of myself and my wife. We hired him for our wedding photos with the caveat that he could then sell the photos if he liked. He did, to places like Turbo Tax. Here is the personal page however of all of my photos which I dont allow the public to see.
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.881295885294091&type=3
Please allow it.
Best

Hi Madridbenjamin. As I posted in my repsonse to your Wikipedia Teahouse question, the licensing of this file needs to be formally verified by Wikimedia VRT in order for the file to be kept. The file was actually deleted yesterday by a Commons administrator per speedy deletion criterion COM:CSD#F5 because it lacks such verification; however, I asked the deleting administrator to take a look at what you posted above. As a result, the file has been temporarily restored to allow the VRT verification process to run its course. When you emailed, VRT you should've received an automatic reply stating your email has been received. This email should've also contained a VRT ticket number for reference purposes. So, based upon what you've posted above, I'm going to add Template:Permission pending to the file's page so that administrators and file license reviewers are aware that a COM:CONSENT email has been sent. What you can do is fill in the |year=, |month= and |day= parameters of the template's syntax since that's information that only you know. After doing that, you simply need to wait for the file's licensing to be verified by VRT. If there are no problems with the email, a VRT member will replace the "Permission pending" template with Template:PermissionTicket and the license will be verified. On the other hand, if there is a problem, Template:Permission received will be added instead and the a VRT member will most likely explain why via email. Now, if you're reconsidering whether you really want this file to be released as licensed, you probably need to take action at this time because Creative Commons licenses are non-revocable and you as the copyright holder will be responsible for enforcing the terms of the license if you find someone using the photo in some way you don't like or in violation of the terms of the license at some point in time. Getting a file deleted for "I changed my mind" reasons becomes much harder once a license has been verified and more than seven days have passed since the file was uploaded. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:40, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello,
I went to the link and sent a new picture to whomever answered the email for Wikipedia. Rather than fight everyone on the ownership of my own wedding photos I just uploaded one taken by myself. Honestly there are 100's online, but I'd rather use one taken by a professional. Amazon or Netflix don't ask my permission to use different photos they just take what people give them. At this point, my picture can be take off any website and used for anything on the planet, that's the cost of work in the world of film. I don't mind it, most people are smart enough to know nothing on the internet is perfect or really 'real'. So When people talk about making your own post, I don't think they realize that there are 100's of pages of me where I get to say nothing. I certainly don't mind, or I'd work in plumbing! 50.195.131.209 03:08, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You probaly should log in to your account when posting because (1) it's less confusing since other will know it "you" so to speak and (2) your IP address will not be revealed. As for the rest of your post. it makes no difference what other wesbites or organizations do when it comes to image use or copyright verification, they aren't Commons and only relevant Commons' policies and guidelines matter. If you're the copyright holder of this photo and you don't care about how it's being used, then that's cool. You just need to provide some way of verifying that. If you're not the copyright holder, then that's cool too except you can't release the file under a free licnese without the copyright holder's consent, at least when it comes to Commons, and Commons needs someway of verifying said copyright holder's consent. If this is all starting to become way too much of a hassle, and you want the image just to be deleted, then that's understandable. Just log into your account, go to the file's page, click "Edit" and add the syntax for template {{Db-author}} to the top of the file's page. Then, you should leave an edit summary briefly explaing why you're asking for the file to be deleted, click "Show preview" to check that you added the syntax and edit summary correctly, and then click "Publish changes" if everything seems good to go. The image will likely be deleted in a day or so. If you then want to upload an image that you've taken yourself, you can do so using COM:UPLOAD and Commons:Wikimedia VRT release generator. Once again, though, as I mentioned at the English Wikipedia Teahouse, whether an article about you will eventually be added to English Wikipedia has nothing to do with this or any other images you want to use in such an article. Commons is only concerned with the copyright of the content it hosts. It has no say it whether that content is eventually used by any of the local Wikipedias or anyone at for that matter. It also has no say it determing whether there should be Wikipedia articles written about the subjects of photos. So, anything related to the draft you've submitted for review over at English Wikipedia will need to be handled over on English Wikipedia. -- Marchjuly (talk) 03:29, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am logged in or I wouldn't be able to post? This is kind of hilarious because there's this feeling that 'anyone can edit or put things on wikipedia'...so far all I've encountered is keyboard warriors denying everything. I don't want to go to college to learn this type of writing again, if you don't like the post nbd don't post it. It's fine really guys. There are 100's of websites with my name on them, I just thought it might be nice to be able to control one of them. CeVa? 50.195.131.209 03:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please check the signatures you've left for you last two posts and also the page history of this user talk page. Then look at Special:Contributions/Madridbenjamin and Special:Contributions/50.195.131.209. The last two posts you made to this page weren't made by the account "Madridbenjamin" but were made by the IP account "50.195.131.209". That is what I meant by not being logged in. Registering for an account isn't required to edit either Wikipedia or Commons; you can simply just edit a page. Such edits, however, are attributed to the IP address making the edits, not any account that you might've previously been using. You may be making the edits per se, but they're not being recorded as such. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:07, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What would it matter who is logged in? I dont get it. 50.195.131.209 04:14, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In some cases, the same person editing from different accounts can be at the very least confusing and at the very worst might be seen as a form of en:WP:SOCKPUPPETRY if the intent is to decieve. In this case, it probably matters not if it doesn't matter to you; however, the IP address you're using to make the edits is publicly visible and this information may possibly be used others in some inappropriate way. If you don't care about that, then that's cool. If you're concerned about that, then you should send ask a COM:OVERSIGHTer to make is so the IP address is not publicly visible. Finally, in reply to the There are 100's of websites with my name on them, I just thought it might be nice to be able to control one of them. you posted above, subjects of Wikipedia articles have zero editorial control over what's posted about them on Wikipedia as explained in en:Wikipedia:Ownership of content. There are ways for subjects of articles to request changes or express any concerns they might have about article content, but assessments are ultimately going to be made in accordance with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines. So, if you're looking for some kind of total control over what's posted about you online, then Wikipedia is probably the site for you. There are some Wikipedia-like alternatives that you might find more suitable, but there's also social media or personal websites as well. If you've got any more Wikipedia or Commons questions, I'm happy to try and answer them. There are probably others over on Wikipedia that would be happy to answer your questions there. However, you're probably going to have a better chance of finding such people if you avoid collectively referring to them as "keyboard warriors". -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:07, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
