Hi Vacenal,
on the page of the above mentioned image you have entered "OTRS permission" but no ticket number or link to the ticket. Did you forget that or is the permission mail still underway? --Túrelio (talk) 13:30, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Vacenal,
thanks for the feedback. If you upload an image not really made (taken) by yourself and not old enough to be free, you need written permission from the creator or right's holder. But it's easier than it sounds. Just go to Commons:Email templates (available in several languages), take the text out of the boxed template, enter either the Commons-URL of the image (if already uploaded) or the filename you will choose, and a fitting license. Then you email that to the right's holder and ask him/her to read it and, if agreed, to enter the date and his/her name and email it back to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org . By the way, this email is not made public, but can only be accessed by the few peope of the OTRS team. After some time someone from the OTRS team puts a so-called "OTRS ticket" (for example, see Image:AradKatze.jpg) on the image page, so that everybody can see that a premission has been granted. --Túrelio (talk) 19:37, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
File:Amber Rives.jpg may be deleted[edit]
The File:Amber Rives.jpg which you uploaded has been tagged {{OTRS pending}} for more than 30 days. This tag indicates that an email setting out permission to use the file was sent to the OTRS team. Unfortunately, we cannot find any record that such an email has been received, and accordingly the file remains without permission. Unless the OTRS team receives evidence that permission has been granted within 15 days of today's date, the file will be deleted. If you have already sent the permission, please re-send it to "permissions-commonswikimedia.org" now. At the same time, please leave a message at the OTRS noticeboard so that a volunteer can follow this up. Alternatively, you can contact an OTRS volunteer directly.
