Willkommen und ein paar Tipps

Hallo Ellard38, erstmal Willkommen bei Commons! Ich habe mal die Einsteiger-Infos oben auf deiner Benutzerseite eingefügt, die dir helfen sollen, dich ein bißchen besser hier zurecht zu finden. Leider fehlen bei den von dir hochgeladenen Bildern einige notwendige Informationen, wie du aus den Hinweisen weiter oben schon bemerkt haben wirst. Deshalb noch ein paar Tipps zum Einstieg:

  • Wenn du Bilder hochlädtst, die du nicht selber aufgenommen hast, mußt du sicher sein, unter welcher Lizenz die Bilder stehen. Beim Bild von Kultusminister Busemann an der Halephagen-Schule hast du zwar nun die Quelle nachgetragen (Danke!), aber du brauchst auch die Erlaubnis des Fotografen das Bild unter eine freie Lizenz zu stellen. Da reicht die Angabe der Quelle alleine nicht aus, denn oft möchten Fotografen ihre Bilder zwar für Wikipedia, aber nicht für kommerzielle Zwecke freigeben (und genau das erlaubt eine freie Lizenz), und dann muß solch ein Bild von Commons gelöscht werden. Deshalb müßtest du bitte (z.B. per email) beim Fotografen nachfragen und die Erlaubnis nachtragen und am besten noch per email an permissions@wikimedia.org senden. Wie das genau geht, kannst du unter Erste Schritte/Lizenzwahl nachlesen.
  • Mehr Infos über Derivative works findest du unter Bearbeitungen.

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
