Thanks for uploading File:0 'Les Chinchins' - EVBA - Mons (1).JPG. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

A photo was stolen on Pixabay

Hi, Jean-Pol, I noticed your photo File:0 Mozet - Ferme de Basseille (1).jpg was stolen by a Pixabay user and has just been re-uploaded to Commons at File:Belgium-71912 960 720.jpg. 0x0a (talk) 13:48, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

Bonjour, cher Oxoa, merci de m’avoir prévenu de l’utilisation illégale de mon image. Vous pourrez trouver ci-dessous le texte de l’invitation que je viens d'insérer sur la page de l’utilisateur Helik7478.
Hi, Dear Oxoa, thank you for warning me about the illegal use of my image. Below you can find the text of the invitation I just inserted on the user page Helik7478.
« Comme Oxoa vous l'a fait remarquer tout en me prévenant vous avez inséré une image dont je suis l'auteur en ne respectant pas la licence et le copyright. Je vous invite donc à prévenir dans les meilleurs délais le site Pixabay où vous avez copié mon fichier que l'utilisation de cette image n'est nullement libre de droit et donc enfreint la législation prévue à ce sujet. »
“As Oxoa pointed out to you, while warning me, you have inserted an image of which I am the author in violation of the license and copyright. I therefore invite you to inform the Pixabay site where you copied my file as soon as possible that the use of this image is in no way free of rights and therefore violates the legislation provided for in this regard.” Jean-Pol GRANDMONT (talk) 10:58, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi, Jean-Pol. The unauthorized copie has been removed from Commons. You may need to contact Pixabay's customer service to report copyright violation. 0x0a (talk) 02:22, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
Once again, thank you for pointing out the copyright infringement of my image and for removing the offending image. I then wanted to follow your advice but couldn't find ANY place on the Pixabay website to assert my rights.
Jean-Pol GRANDMONT (talk) 09:36, 10 February 2024 (UTC)
Hi, Jean-Pol. Sorry for late reply as I didn't subscribe your talk page. The report button is at the top right of the photo, and looks like a flag. Also, your talk page is too full, causing my browser to freeze, you can copy this line of code {{subst:User:Jeff G./usertalksetup}} to the top of the page and then the old messages will be automatically archived. 0x0a (talk) 14:53, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
