Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? File uploads

Hi KJMClark1966. It appears that you are new to Wikimedia Commons and thus may not be aware that Commons has certain policies that all file uploads are expected to comply with as explained in Commons:Licensing. Since quite a number of you uploads had copyright-related issues, they have been deleted by a Commons adminstrator. Basically, Commons only excepts the following types of files: (1) content which is deemed to be clearly within the public domain, or (2) content which has clearly been released by the original copyright holder under a free license which is suitible for Commons. In general, the original copyright holder is the individual who created the origin image or work, except in cases where there has been an official transfer of copyright to another party; therefore, a photographer who takes the photo, the artist who paints the painting, the architect who designs the building, etc. are generally the copyright holders of their creations. It is often a little more complicated than that, especially in cases where a derivative work is created, but that's basically the gist of it. Copyright rules tend to differ from coountry to country, but since Wikimedia Commons' servers are located within the United States, the file must be freely licensed or PD in both the country or origin and the US for it to be hosted by Commons. As a rule of thumb, its best to assume that any image, etc. you find on the Internet which you did not take yourself is protected by copyright; so, even though you might be able to download the file "free-of-charge", it is not considered to be "free-of-copyright" unless it clearly states so on the website. In such cases, the file should not be uploaded to Commons unless the original copyright holder gives their explicit consent that it's OK to do so. In almost all cases verbal consent is going to be considered to be insufficient due to the fact that it is impossible to verify and something more formal is going to be needed.

Please do not simply reupload the files under the same or different name since they are almost certainly to be deleted again. Files which are deleted are not gone forever, but rather only hidden from public view. Deleted files can be easily "undeleted" once their licensing issues have been sorted out by asking for assistance at Commons:Undeletion requests or by discussing things with the deleting administrator. Reuploading files deemed to be copyright violations will not only waste your name, but may also lead to your account being blocked by an administrator to prevent any further violations of Commons policy.
