You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? File source is not properly indicated: File:Berger portrait.jpg

This media was probably deleted.

A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Berger portrait.jpg, was missing information about where it comes from or who created it, which is needed to verify its copyright status. The file probably has been deleted. If you've got all required information, request undeletion providing this information and the link to the concerned file ([[:File:Berger portrait.jpg]]). If you created the content yourself, enter {{Own}} as the source. If you did not add a licensing template, you must add one. You may use, for example, {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} or {{Cc-zero}} to release certain rights to your work. If someone else created the content, or if it is based on someone else's work, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. I didn't get the image from Facebook. I got the image from David Berger directly. I then asked him who the source and author are. He told me he took that pic of himself with his own camera. He told me I could use it on Wikipedia. While he's the Deputy District Attorney of Los Angeles he full well understands copyright law. Mary Cummins (talk) 00:29, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

You need to get the copyright holder* to go to COM:CONSENT. Note we do not allow forwarded permissions.

Reply. I added the same image but with different license and source description so it would be allowed. It's now a completely new and different entry. It's not the same. I don't want the other image undeleted. I have the email exchange with Berger. I don't want to post that on the public internet. He doesn't want his personal email addy made public. It's his public campaign photo which he wants people to share. He's given that photo to public websites to use.

You just falsely reported that image as deleted image when it was not. The copyright and source description was changed. Berger is a government employee and politician. He told me I could use his public campaign photo which he took of himself. There could never be a copyright issue with that photo. Mary Cummins (talk) 00:51, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
