Thanks for uploading File:Star Academy Winner 2008.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you. |

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:OxyMore.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

- You need to forward the email with the permission to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org, but please make sure that the copyright holder agrees to license the photos under a free license. See Commons:OTRS and Commons:Email templates for more information. Razvan Socol (talk) 11:56, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
- You should wait a few days so the volunteers that are handling the OTRS can process the request. If the files are not restored, you can request undeletion at Commons:Undeletion requests, mentioning the OTRS email and specifying the file names. Razvan Socol (talk) 18:50, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Mona, sorry for getting back to you so late. ticket:2011111910041932 was worked on by a volunteer who then sent a reply to Mr. Guirat's management on Nov. 23, pointing out that the images were not usable due to the copyright notice incuded in the images (in fact, not even all have that). I don't understand this reply, and I'll leave a note to the OTRS agent. From what I can see, we have a sufficient statement of permission for the following images: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=216302171727853&set=a.216302045061199.62272.216301161727954&type=3&theater, https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150311216034181&set=a.10150303136849181.360938.128807719180&type=3&theater, and https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=168245504180&set=a.161275319180.115743.128807719180&type=3&theater (plus some gallery page, don't quite understand that one). The only thing that's missing in the email is a specification of the author's and/or copyright owner's name. That's important, because otherweise, this might create legal problems. So what I've done now is I've written a follow-up mail to the artist asking for these information. As soon as we have them, I see no problem with the images. —Pill (talk) 17:05, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
