File tagging File:Tekebaev photo from Sputnik.jpg[edit]
This media was probably deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:Tekebaev photo from Sputnik.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Tekebaev photo from Sputnik.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |

File:Tekebaev O.Ch.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. Unblock request[edit]
Good Day, I have discovered that I have been blocked. I did not commit any violations. The uploaded files, Association for Human Rights in Central Asia Logos were uploaded with a permission from the Association. In addition I am a member of this Association and have a right to upload the logo
- Satina Aidar, I agree that the block is incorrect insofar as the rationale ("Wikipedia Zero abuse: using Commons as a warez site") is untrue. The images you uploaded, however, are violations of our policies. In circumstances where you personally did not create the images, you must provide evidence that you are authorized on behalf of the author or copyright holder, if different, to upload them under a free license. In this case, because the images are purportedly the works of the Association for Human Rights in Central Asia, we will require evidence of permission from that association (e.g., an email from a representative authorized to license intellectual properties using an ahrca.eu domain) - merely being a member is not adequate. Please see COM:OTRS for directions on how to submit this information. If you will agree not to upload such images until this permission has been received and processed, I will unblock you. Dear Эlcobbola, I appreciate your attention to this issue and your response. I do agree not to upload such images until the permission has been received and processed. Furthermore, I'd like to kindly ask for a bit of help as I am confused regarding the process of submitting the permissions for these images. I am usually not stupid, but right now I am struggling a bit. Thank you very much for your assistance! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Satina Aidar (talk • contribs) 18:17, 26 July 2017 (UTC)Satina Aidar (talk) 21:49, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
- The copyright holder for each image needs to email their permission to "permissions-commons@wikimedia.org". There is an example template they are welcome to use here. The email(s) must come from an address that we can verify as being associated with the previously published copyright holder. For example, File:Tekebaev photo from Sputnik.jpg is credited to "© AP Photo / Dalton Bennet". Accordingly, the permission email for that image must come from a representative of the Associated Press (generally including an @ap.com domain) who is authorized to license that organization's intellectual properties. Similarly, File:LogoAHRCA ru.jpg is credited to AHRCA ("© 2017 www.ahrca.ru. Все права защищены."); the permission email for that image must come from a representative of the AHRCA (generally including an @ahrca.eu domain) who is authorized to license that organization's intellectual properties. Once the copyright holders have emailed permission, OTRS volunteers will process the ticket and restore the images for you if everything is in order--no action is needed from you. Alternatively stated, all that is needed from you in this whole process is to identify and contact the copyright holders and instruct them to submit their permission as described above and at COM:OTRS. Page suggested for removal[edit]
Hello, I have another question. I have created a page for a well-known (in European Parliament, UN and other international bodies) human rights defender Nadejda Ataeva. She is a President of Association for Human Rights in Central Asia and a long-time partner of Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Partnership for Human Rights (IPHR), Journalists without borders. She continues to make a significant contribution in fight against torture, rights of political prisoners, journalists, human and civil rights activists and rule of law in Central Asia (former USSR). She is a dissident and a political immigrant. I created this page because I believe readers should have a chance to learn more about her work and understand the essence of work in a human rights field as well as various issues in the region, including the ongoing fight with dictatorships in Central Asia. In fact, I am going to continue editing her page and collecting more links to trustworthy and respected media sites, such as Al-Jazeera, BBC, etc as well as more material about her work. I need help in saving the page from deletion. Appreciate any advise and assistance. here is the page:https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%90%D1%82%D0%B0%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%B0,_%D0%9D%D0%B0%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%B6%D0%B4%D0%B0_%D0%90%D0%BB%D0%B8%D0%BC%D0%B1%D0%B0%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%BD%D0%B0Satina Aidar (talk) 23:15, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
Page deleted by Russian Wikipedia editor ShinePhantom[edit]
Hello--
Page created by me for Nadejda Ataeva a well - known Human Rights Defender has been deleted. Our discussions with Russian editors is unsuccessful, editor who deleted is unresponsive. In addition on his page he is extorting money for his work. https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A3%D1%87%D0%B0%D1%81%D1%82%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA:ShinePhantom. He states that he has not been paid for a year, he and provides his Webmoney account. Here is an experpt from his page: * Государственный департамент США — вам урезали бюджет? (US State department - your budget has been cut?)
(Pedifiles - you are not prohibited anymore? Have you made a deal with Gosduma (Russian Parliament)?)
(Sionist rulers - have you already conquered the world?)
(Columbian drug dealers - DEA and Federal drug enforcement of Russia do not scare you anymore?)
(Lev Tolstoi and William Sheakspeare - suicide propaganda is not popular nowadays?)
Below this he states: Господа, я не правил 6 дней. Подайте на интернет бывшему члену арбитражного комитета. Если вы хотите помочь материально, то номер счет на Яндекс. Деньгах: 41001789610163[1]
Sirs, I have not edited for 6 days. Give some money for internet to the former member of Arbitration committee. If you would like to provide financial help, here is my account on Yandex.money: 41001789610163[1]
When this person provided his argument for deleting the page, he stated: пока никаких существенно важных событий что-то не видно, это во-первых. Обычная оппозиция, все кроме - в рамках работы каких-то организаций, а не персонально. А вот с ВП:НТЗ - полная беда. "мишенью для клеветы", "коррупции клана Каримовых", "сфабрикованному уголовному делу" - и т.д. Между тем "Нейтральность изложения — фундаментальный принцип Википедии" - удалено по совокупности претензий. ShinePhantom (обс) 09:52, 29 июля 2017 (UTC) (There are no sufficiently important events, this is first. Its a usual oppositioner, everything except for some work with some organizations, and not personally. With rules ВП:НТЗ - total catastrophe. "Slander target", "Karimov clan corruption", "fabricated criminal case" and so on. Neutrality is the main principal of Wikipedia. Deleted due to sum of claims.) I need help in locating the right person in Wikipedia, maybe a legal department to bring this complaint up to their attention. We do not believe the decision by Shine Phantom is justified and we find his requests for payment disturbing. In addition, he also posted our page for the Association for Human Rights in Central Asia for deletion. https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%90%D1%81%D1%81%D0%BE%D1%86%D0%B8%D0%B0%D1%86%D0%B8%D1%8F_%C2%AB%D0%9F%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B2%D0%B0_%D1%87%D0%B5%D0%BB%D0%BE%D0%B2%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%B0_%D0%B2_%D0%A6%D0%B5%D0%BD%D1%82%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BB%D1%8C%D0%BD%D0%BE%D0%B9_%D0%90%D0%B7%D0%B8%D0%B8%C2%BB_(AHRCA) It looks like extortion.
Your attention and advise is greatly appreciated. Satina Aidar (talk) 13:57, 29 July 2017 (UTC)
