Hello Fpo~commonswiki!

Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.

To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

Description of panoramized images

Hello. Thank you for panoramized images you created.

Please note that the {{Information}} template cannot include more fields with identical names. When you merge descriptions from more source images, every type of field need to be merged to one field. The template cannot include 4-times the field "date" like here. Such duplicity induces that the real date of taken remain supressed and hiden. --ŠJů (talk) 23:05, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

I september genomför vi fototävlingen Wiki Loves Monuments igen.

I år har vi till den svenska deltävlingen lagt till ytterligare en kategori med objekt du kan fotografera, nämligen arbetslivsmuseum. Vi har även passat på att förtydliga instruktionerna för hur man deltar. För mer information se tävlingens hemsida.

Det finns gott om fina priser och tio av bilderna går vidare till den internationella finalen. Så varför inte delta i år igen!

Your account will be renamed

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Fpo~commonswiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
