You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Bădeuţi

Nu cunosc întinderea satului Bădeuţi, dar după cum văd din poza http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Biserica_Sf._Petru_si_Pavel_din_Badeuti2.jpg, ea se află la intrarea în sat venind dinspre Milişăuţi. Mai exact, localitatea Bădeuţi vine în continuarea oraşului Milişăuţi, neexistând niciun fel de demarcaţie, în afară de placa respectivă a cărei relevanţă este redusă, ţinând cont de faptul că satul Bădeuţi face parte astăzi din oraşul Milişăuţi. Biserica este pe partea dreaptă a drumului naţional care duce la Siret/Cernăuţi, prima din satul Bădeuţi, iar gardul din dreapta imaginii ar aparţine ultimei case din fostul sat Milişăuţi. Pe partea stângă (necuprinsă în imagine) sunt case având curţi mici. În spatele acestor case de la DN sunt alte uliţe (mai multe pe partea dreaptă parcă). Din câte îmi înţeleg eu, nemţii îşi făceau bisericile nu în centrul satelor, ci la drum, unde era şi piaţa de produse agricole, deci biserica nu ar fi în mod obligatoriu centrul comunităţii. În prezent, locuitori germani nu mai există în localitate, ei emigrând în 1940 în Germania. În multe lucrări de specialitate (unele chiar mai vechi) am văzut că se face confuzie între satele Milişăuţi şi Bădeuţi, spre exemplu Biserica Sf. Procopie din Bădeuţi (ctitorită de Ştefan cel Mare) apare când în Bădeuţi, când în Milişăuţi. --Cezarika1 (talk) 04:44, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Surse

Am primit cu interes reactia dv la ce am facut eu. Este destul de complicat de a gasi solutii la niste situatii fluide cum sunt cele din Transnistria, care sa fie ok pentru expunerea pe o harta. Astazi Transnistria zice ceva, maine Chisinaul spune altceva. Dv spuneti parerea dv. La wikipedia trebuiesc puse informatii bazate pe surse de incredere. Daca aveti surse va rog sa mi le furnizati sau sa gasim o solutie de a le pune pe wikipedia. Mai multe capete rezulta lucru mai bine facut. Parerea mea este ca putem pune astfel de informatii nu pe harta ci in explicatiile imaginii. Spun asta informandu-va ca harta are la baza date geospatiale de tip SRTM si ea poate fi folosita si ca harta de localizare de tip GPS cum sunt hartile de localizare de localitati. Ce parere aveti daca veti pune dv la explicatiile imaginii informatiile care le detineti. Poate peste o luna trebuiesc modificate ca situatia va fi alta. Request

Hello Colinspancev. If I am not mistaken, you're Historymaps.ro. I used to visit your website once every few months to see if there was any new uploads since I enjoyed looking at your maps. You've done lots of commune-level maps, so I was wondering if you would be interested in a request from mine.

You might or not remember that in 2018, when the centenary of the Great Union was celebrated in Romania, many Moldovan communes declared unification with Romania. Some Romanian communes also declared unification with Moldova. For over a year already I've been working on writing a page on this topic and I think I've achieved a complete list of settlements from each country that declared unification with the other. Currently this page is accessible here [1], though it will one day be an article of its own. I thought a map would be valuable for the article but I have not been able to find blank maps of Moldovan and Romanian communes. Do you have access to any? If so, I'd appreciate it greatly if you could send one to me so that I can make a map.
