Could you handle the OTRS ticket:2018031210013951?

It is for the following files:

Also see the previous discussion.

The author has sent his permission to upload them on 13 May. I can't understand why the case has not yet been processed while others, more recent ones, are quickly processed.--Eckhardt Etheling (talk) 12:37, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you can, please also handle the ticket:2018042710011656. Thank you.--Eckhardt Etheling (talk) 12:42, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I asked the same intervention to user 0x010C. See here.--Eckhardt Etheling (talk) 15:30, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It seems that the permission at OTRS is sufficient, but you need a sysop to restore the files, and I'm not a sysop at OTRS (the two times I applied for this it was denied, because the other sysops believed I was too inactive?). I can not handle this for you, so you'll need to get in touch with a user that is a sysop as well. Edoderoo (talk) 15:35, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thank you, I will ask an OTRS volunteer & sysop to restore the files. Could you check ticket:2018042710011656 and ticket:2018042710011549? These are already uploaded and do not need to be restored.--Eckhardt Etheling (talk) 17:15, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The first one is missing some important past in the declaration: that the website is the holder of the full copyright, and/or photographer/creator of the images. Now it is not sure if the website just has a license to use the images, or if they made the pictures themselves, but for the release of the images this is always important. The best way to get a good declaration is to use the template on Commons:OTRS#Declaration_of_consent_for_all_enquiries, so we are also sure that the person releasing the rights on the images clearly understands what they are actually releasing. This will avoid discussions afterwards, when people 'suddenly' do not want others to edit the photo's, or that they are used in a commercial setting. The text in the link will make that all clear. The second ticket I read as I am the owner, although the text is actually multi-interpretable. For those few images I have put the ticket number to the images. Edoderoo (talk) 17:34, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I think that the website (i.e., ССО СРВ) is the holder of the full copyright, not just of the license, as the entire website's content is under the copyright "ССО СРВ ©1997-2018 При использовании материала ссылка на сайт обязательна", trans. "When using the material, a link to the site is required"), and in any case the material author is a constituent member of ССО СРВ. In the original message I linked both the website on which the images would have been uploaded (Wikimedia Commons) and the license content (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/) which is quite explicit. In any case, I will ask Anastasia (the website's administrator) to send a corroboration herself.--Eckhardt Etheling (talk) 19:24, 13 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
File:Veerle dobbelaere-1450102584.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Pay attention to copyright
File:Ola-Calippo-IMG 20180723 122547859.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Hi, apparently the OTRS ticket # got lost somewhere for File:Myra koomen-1523781286.jpg.    FDMS  4    19:38, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed, thanks for letting me know. Every once in a while I forget to copy/paste this info, and it doesn't help that it is usually just outside sight one line below the visible area of the edit window. But it's fairly easy (for me) to find back the right ticket and fill it in. Edoderoo (talk) 20:07, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! How can you add permission template without answering to the ticket on the OTRS platform? I have added OTRS received template instead. --Arthur Crbz (talk) 11:24, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you didn't answer the OTRS-ticket either. As you overruled me, I assume you will take care of it now? Edoderoo (talk) 11:39, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

License review

[edit]

"12:29, 15 February 2014 Jcb (talk | contribs) changed group membership for Edoderoo from OTRS-member to OTRS-member, rollbacker, confirmed user, file mover and image reviewer (Trusted user, sitting right in front of me at the moment) (thank)"
Nu was je al OTRS-member, maar toch, de vaardigheden die je nodig hebt voor license review zijn net ietsje anders (al overlapt het ook wel). Ik ga het navragen. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 11:46, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
