Notification about possible deletion[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.
If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. EugeneZelenko, the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition ended 30 years ago. The fair ended up in US Bankruptcy Court where some of the assets were sold. The official Fair logo's you have referenced were trademarked in 1983 and all those trademarks have expired. Therefore these works are covered under public domain and free to use.

The following reference material was purchased by me personally from the Times Picayune Newspaper Archives and is copyright free.

- File:Syemore Takes On New York.jpg
- File:Show'en Big Easy Love.jpg
- File:Vice President George H.W. Bush and Seymore copy.png
The following two photographs were used in promotional marketing material in conjunction with the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition and commonly used by print and mass media outlets for news articles and special stories. Both can be located via internet searches in the public domain.
As for the following photo, this is a personal photograph that I have in my personal photo collection dating back to 1983, where I was a licensed clothing vendor to the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition.
Not sure where to post my objection to this deletion request, but I am starting here, to at least have it documented. I'm sure that someone will guide me to where this objection should properly be posted.
Sincerely Ddj001
