Useful images[edit]

This https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:BSRF_Marines_extend_welcome_to_Canadian_Air_Force_160329-M-PJ201-017.jpg could be used in the CADPAT and/or MARPAT articles.

These could be considered for use in the introduction of, the Combat uniform article. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ugandan_Battle_Group_22_conducts_counter-IED_exercise_during_pre-deployment_training_170306-Z-CT752-0227.jpg https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Djibouti_Armed_Forces_Day_celebrates_38th_Anniversary_(18527193191).jpg and https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Opening_Ceremony_(7582512234).jpg What do you think? Dreddmoto (talk) 02:26, 5 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Dreddmoto: Thanks! I've added the CADPAT image into the article. I don't really have a preference for combat uniform lead, though between those three I'm sort of less partial to the last one (composition is fine, its moreso the sun glare I have issue with). That said, I found this image File:A U.S. Soldier, third from left, stands for a photo with soldiers from seven other nations during training in Yavoriv, Ukraine, July 10, 2013, as part of Rapid Trident 2013 130710-O-ZZ999-005-UA.jpg that I think could work as a good lead image for combat uniform. I see what you meaning regarding the third image.

Regarding the image you found, that would be helpful because it is not limited to showing temperate environment camouflage patterns. It would also be helpful to include a photograph of a khaki uniform, the kind that is mentioned in the introduction of that article. I'll search for one. --Dreddmoto (talk) 02:42, 6 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
