  1. Image:Coat of Arms of Marina Roshcha (municipality in Moscow) proposal (2004).png und Image:Coat of Arms of Marina Roscha (municipality in Moscow) proposal (2004).png;
  2. Image:Coat of Arms of Marina Roscha (rayon in Moscow) (1997).png und Image:Coat of Arms of Marina Roshcha (rayon in Moscow) (1997).png;
  3. Image:Flag of Marina Roscha (municipality in Moscow).png und Image:Flag of Marina Roshcha (municipality in Moscow) (1997 ).png.

--GeorgHH 13:07, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Erledigt. Gruß --Bricktop 14:19, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
Super, danke! --GeorgHH 16:54, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Removing watermarks

Hi, I've seen you've (also) taken it upon yourself to remove watermarks. I wonder if you are aware of JpegCrop which enables you to crop a Jpeg image without quality loss (Windows application). Hope to have been of help and wish you fun and productivity ;-). Siebrand 12:52, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I'm aware of this program and I'm also using it very often. But thanks for informing me :)! I also tried graphical editing on some images (such as Image:Adler fg02.jpg and Image:Araneus ceropegius fg01.jpg), hope the results are satisfying for as I am still a beginner in this matter. --Bricktop 14:40, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Excellent retouching. Siebrand 19:53, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Watermark

--Dysmachus 15:24, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
--Bricktop 16:46, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Badname/Duplicate

Hey, I notice that you have tagged a number of images as {{Badname}}. Just a note, badname should only be used for "incorrectly named images if you are the uploader and they are not used". Otherwise use {{Duplicate}}. Thanks.--Nilfanion 17:52, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

Yes I know. This is exactly what I'm doing (or trying to do, of course I could have tagged some images not correct). --Bricktop 17:57, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

RE: Image:SoyuzTMA9official.jpg

The copyright policy states that images are PD unless otherwise specified, and it was not otherwise specified. Therefore, one can only assume that it is PD, NASA or not. --GW Simulations 20:25, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

The image source page [1] says Photo credit: Roscosmos / Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center. I would say this is what NASA means by saying images are PD unless otherwise specified. --Bricktop 01:14, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
I have precisely a nasty chat with another user on a similar topic with the image of article Anousheh Ansari. Do you confirm that images stating Photo credit: Roscosmos / Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center are not PD ? 82.120.136.210 20:11, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
NASA only holds copyright on pictures which are created by NASA (or by NASA-paid employers). Roscosmos and Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center aren't NASA employers, that's why NASA can't copyright their material under its own conditions. --Bricktop 00:56, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you, Bricktop, for trimming the white border off the few NASA pictures I just uploaded. Due to software problems, I can't do the trimming on the computer I'm using right now. I had planned to do that later on another desktop, but you beat me to it. Many thanks. Happy editing. :-) Take care. -- PFHLai 04:37, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

No problem! Grad to see people uploading these great Shuttle mission pictures! :-). --Bricktop 12:42, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

Species identification

Recently you edited Image:Moorish Idol (Zanclus cornutus) 01.jpg (diff), saying that it wasn't Zanclus cornutus, but in fact Heniochus acuminatus. I agree that it is not Zanclus cornutus, but are you confident that it is Heniochus acuminatus, and not a third species? I would like to be as accurate as possible in my uploads, so I wanted to make sure I did it right this time. Thanks for the help! --Tewy 05:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

I'm in fact not 100% sure that the fish on your picture is a Heniochus acuminatus, because there is another very similar species Heniochus diphreutes (see [2] for a comparison of these two Heniochus species). But for me it looks more like the pictured fish is a H. acuminatus then a H. diphreutes. But to be really sure you should probably consult a specialist. --Bricktop 03:30, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
Just an update for if you're interested, but I found another image I took which was a full version of the tank the species was in, and was able to read the sign above the glass. You were right, the species is in fact a Heniochus acuminatus. I uploaded a new image with the correct title (Image:Longfin Bannerfish (Heniochus acuminatus) 01.jpg) and tagged the old one for deletion. Thanks again for noticing the problem in the first place. --Tewy 06:05, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Cool, thanks for informing me. I'm glad my identification was right after all :-). --Bricktop 09:56, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

Hallo Bricktop.
