S'ha creat la plantilla d'usuari {{User Catalan Countries}}. El motiu d'aquesta és mirar de fer visibles a Commons aquells usuaris que han nascut o viuen als Països Catalans. Hola Pau. I saw your invitation. Mira, ya conozco la alergía de varios usuarios hacia las cates de mujeres. I am a women rights defender. Me gusta acentuar los logros de las mujeres. Es por eso que I'm a staunch supporter of female cats. (No, not those that miau... :-) Pau, si una mujer ha piloteado, deja eso "ha subido" a una avioneta cuando las mujeres difícilmente podían salir de la casa a solas, digamos early 1900s, si algunas volaron un avión de guerra en esos tiempos, se merecen su propia cate. Es un respeto que les debemos. Full stop.

El otro día, escuchando las noticias en TVE, me ha llamado la atención dos noticias sobre la mujer: 1. Una arbitro (o arbitra?) de futbol en Alemania, "primera vez en una de las ligas mayores de Europa"! FYI, la turca Lale Orta ya se ha jubilado de dirigir partidos en la Liga Turca hace varios años. A parecer por ser turca o musulmana no ha logrado dirigir partidos en una "liga mayor"... Ven a ver un partido de Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, o Galatasaray (campeona de UEFA) en Istanbul o cualquier ciudad de Turquia y ve una "liga mayor". 2. La otra noticia de TVE me ha alegrado más por sentirme el orgullo de pertenecer a un pais con "aviadores" desde hace un siglo. Hay una mujer en el equípo acrobático de las Fuerzas Aéreas de España. En Turquía tenemos dos de estos equípos militares. Uno es "comandado" por una mujer, Esra Özatay, el seu article debe estar en la cate que tu quieres eliminar. Si lees esos articles verás que tenemos "pilotas" de acrobacia desde hace muchas décadas. Lo siento, son turcas y musulmanas, nunca han sido una noticia en TVE. (No espero que den un documental sobre éllas, menos.) Eso sí, se merecen una "cate" que sea...

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2018 is open!

Dear Pau Colominas,

You are receiving this message because we noticed that you voted in R1 of the 2018 Picture of the Year contest, but not yet in the second round. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2018) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked.

In the final (and current) round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2018.
