Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Landtagswahlkarte Brandenburg 2009.svg[edit]

Hallo Welkend,

ich sehe, dass Du eine Karte des Landtagswahlergebnisses in Brandenburg hochgeladen hast. Die Wahlkreiseinteilung 2009 scheint sich von der Wahlkreiseinteilung 2014 in einigen Details unterschieden zu haben (nach Liste der Landtagswahlkreise in Brandenburg). Hast Du das berücksichtigt? Moin, Furfur! Verdammt, das habe ich doch glatt vergessen. Ärgerlich. Mir schien auf dem ersten Blick keine Veränderung vorhanden gewesen zu sein, aber nun sehe ich, daß sich doch manches geändert hat. Mir schien eine Karte auf Grundlage deiner Karte als sinnvollerer Ersatz zu dienen, weil sie meiner Meinung nach übersichtlicher ist.--Welkend (talk) 12:17, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Nachtrag: Ich habe es nun geändert. Falls ich etwas vergessen haben sollte oder unsauber gearbeitet habe, laß es mich gerne wissen. Habe ich etwas falsch verstanden, was meine in den Commons angegebene Lizensierung betrifft?

Ja, das ist nicht spezifisch genug. "Zur freien Verfügung" ist auch nicht gleichbedeutend mit CC-0. Wenn das zudem wie dort angegeben Bilder eines Fremd-Fotografen sind, wird eine E-Mail-Genehmigung wie unter Commons:Support-Team beschrieben benötigt. Ok, ich dachte, daß die Aussage explizit genug gewesen wäre. Danke für die Auskunft!

Von mir aus kann das Foto dann auch direkt gelöscht werden. Von meiner Seite gibt es keine weitere Erläuterungen zum Fall und dann kann das Thema zügig beendet werden.

Sehr gerne doch. Ich bin fast mit allen Metal-Bands durch, die ich in der Liste deutscher Metalbands finden konnte. Bei Rising Insane war das recht simpel. Wenn du auf deren Website gehst, befindet sich das Logo direkt im Header. Manchmal kann man es sich normal rauskopieren, manchmal muß ich den Umweg über die Konsole im Browser gehen oder, wenn es sich um eine SVG-Datei handelt, mit einer Browser-App die SVG-Datei separat aufrufen. Bei dem genannten Logo war es jedoch eine normale png-Datei und ich konnte sie unkompliziert abspeichern, mit Inkscape zuschneiden und hochladen.

Ich wünsche dir ebenfalls eine angenehme Sommerwoche - vielen Dank!

da die gesetzte Frist nunmehr deutlich verstrichen ist, fordere ich Sie nochmals auf, aktiv auf die Löschung unserer Wort-Bild-Marke beim Wikimedia/Wikipedia hinzuwirken.

Sollte die Datei nicht bis spätestens 15. Mai 2023 gelöscht sein, würden wir uns gezwungen sehen, weitergehende Maßnahmen zu ergreifen.

Sehr geehrter Herr Fenske,

ich habe mich an die Administratoren der Wikimedia Commons gewandt und um eine Rückmeldung zum Löschantrag gebeten. Sehen Sie hier.

Die Conlusio war, daß das Logo mit einfacher Schrift und einfachen geometrischen Bestandteilen prinbzipiell nicht der Löschung auf der Wikimedia Commons unterliegt. Unter dem entsprechenden Löschantrag (sehen Sie hier) gab es seitens dreier Administratoren die Einschätzung, daß die Datei unter der sogenannten "Threshold of originality" (Schöpfungshöhe) liegen würde.

Wie einer der Administratoren schrieb, können Sie darüber hinaus dennoch über den direkten Kontakt eine Löschung der Datei beantragen. Hierzu ist der entsprechende Kontaktbereich nutzbar (sehen Sie hier). Dies kann jedoch nur der entsprechend Betroffene durchführen.

Ich wäre dir sehr verbunden gewesen, wenn du vorher genauer hingesehen hättest, worin der Unterschied zwischen dem von mir hochgeladenen und dem auf der Website eingebundenen Logo besteht. Da ich das Logo von dort herhabe, kann es sich nicht um ein "Fake" handeln und ich bitte dich deinen LA zurückzunehmen und die Einbindungen wieder einzusetzen, die du entfernt hast.

Der einzige Unterschied bestand darin, daß ein Teil des Textes nicht sichtbar bzw. nicht übernommen war. Dies habe ich nun ergänzt und somit ist es exakt das Logo von der entsprecheden Website. Nur weil ein Fehler vorhanden war, der ausgebügelt werden konnte, muß man nicht solch einen Aufriß veranstalten. Ein kurzer Hinweis, daß ein Teil des Logos fehlt, hätte gereicht.

Deine Reaktionen verwundern mich schon sehr. Den Hinweis, dass dein SVG fehlerhaft ist, hattest du mindestens dreimal bekommen, bevor du es dann zweimal per Editwar wieder reinrevertiert hast. Und es ist ja nun wirklich gleich auf den ersten Blick sehr leicht erkennbar, dass bei deiner Version der größte und wichtigste Text von dem Textlogo komplett fehlte. Und nein, ein so gravierend fehlerhaftes Logo lässt man nicht erstmal im Artikel und hofft darauf, dass es vielleicht irgendwann später mal korrigiert wird. Danke, dass du nun, nach mehreren weiteren Versuchen, eine Version erzielt hast, die dem Original schon deutlich ähnlicher sieht. Da es aber nach wie vor auch eine andere Schriftart als das Original ist, ist sicherlich das original-PNG (was ja auch eine verlustfreie Darstellung ist) weiterhin die bessere Wahl für WP+WD. Tatsächlich scheint die Darstellung des Textes auf der Website unterschiedlich angezeigt zu werden. "Parlament aufmischen" ist nicht Teil des SVG-Logos, sondern separat als Text eingebunden. Im Quelltext ist vermerkt, daß es sich um die Schriftart "Barlow Semi Condensed" handelt - zumindest steht das bei mir so. Genau diese Schriftart habe ich beim Ergänzen genutzt, es entspricht nun also 1 zu 1 dem Logo, das ich sowohl am Rechner (FF und Chrome) als auch am Mobiltelefon (Opera) sehe. Bei dir scheint die Schrift nicht dargestellt zu werden und damit wird dir eine andere Schriftart angezeigt. Nun interessiert mich, ob es eine fehlerhafte Darstellung ist und auch in deinem Quelltext diese Schriftart angegeben ist, jedoch nicht gezeigt wird (denn die Schriftart im png-Logo scheint eine andere zu sein), oder ob bei dir eine ganz andere Schriftart regulär vorhanden ist.

Hallo Welkend, danke für die Antwort, prima dass wir gleich zu einer konstruktiven Lösungsbearbeitung übergehen können, das finde ich sehr gut! Im Quelltext und css finde ich Vorgaben für verschiedene Schriftarten: Barlow Semi Condensed, Roboto, Arial und sans-serif (fallback). Wo sehe ich, welche davon für das Textlogo festgelegt ist/sind? Wenn ich direkt auf "Parlament aufmischen" per Rechtsklick auf "untersuchen" drücke, wird mir lediglich Barlow Semi Condensed angezeigt. Die andere Schriftarten kommen dort bei mir nicht vor. Roboto bspw. kommt, soweit ich das sehen kann, nur im Fließtext oder ganz unten beim Linktext zum Impressum vor.

Ich vermute weiterhin, daß der Text lediglich bei dir falsch angezeigt wird - vielleicht hat dein System keinen Zugruff auf Barlow S. C. und weicht daher auf die andere Schrift aus? Welkend (talk) 14:29, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
