More wealth concentration charts are needed for more countries
[edit]See: Commons: Category: Wealth distribution pie charts by country.
Massive concentration of wealth is not just happening in the US
[edit]More recent charts are needed. Massive concentration of wealth is not just happening in the US. 20% of adults in France and Germany own the vast majority of wealth in both countries. Note the Gini %. That means the labor of 80% of the countries is underpaid. Median wealth per adult is significant since there are an equal number of adults with wealth above and below that number. In 2017 France's adults were more than twice as prosperous as Germany's at the median wealth level. Still true in 2023: List of countries by wealth per adult. The US is between them.

User-editable US maps
[edit]Return to top. These 2 SVG maps below have user-editable sections (any text editor) to allow creation of more maps on more topics. 2 different methods. Feel free to create map templates for other countries too. User:Cmglee may be able to help with that.

Create more tables and maps
[edit]Wikipedia can use more tables and maps. See Commons: Map resources. And en:Help:Tables and en:Help:Sortable tables. See also: Commons:Chart and graph resources. And: Commons:Convert tables and charts to wiki code or image files. And: Commons:Create charts and graphs online.
| Trump's 2017 tax cuts for the rich. |
| On average, taxpayers in the income groups highlighted in yellow will incur a net cost (shown as a positive figure as this reduces the budget deficit), due in part to reduced healthcare subsidies. Higher income taxpayers receive a benefit via tax cuts (shown as a negative number as this increases the budget deficit). The percent of taxpayers in each income group is also shown for the 2023 period. "Taxpayer" in the chart refers to a tax return, meaning it could represent one person or a married couple filing jointly, among other options. [1][2]. Commons source. |
Economics 101. And Wikipedia and Commons need more charts
[edit]I support a neutral point of view (en:WP:NPOV) in Wikipedia articles.
Running an economy is simple. The free market concentrates wealth. So progressive taxation is a necessity. Along with a living minimum wage. If money is constantly recycled, then people have money to spend, the economy works, and unemployment is low. Also, there is less crime, and less spending for police, courts, and prisons. Handguns are unnecessary. Rifles and shotguns are enough, with small magazines. Government spending should be kept to a minimum. So more money goes to individuals to keep the economy running. Exceptions are things such as food stamps, workfare, welfare, family planning, and single-payer universal healthcare. Single-payer universal healthcare is the most efficient. No one should starve or be unhealthy. The planet should not be overpopulated. See related charts and resources:
| US minimum wage would be $25.52 an hour in 2023 if it had kept up with productivity. The split coincided with Nixon's 1971 declaration of a War on Drugs. |
| Wikipedia: List of US states by minimum wage. $7.25 states are majority Republican in both houses. Get PNG map noting GOP states. |
See Wikimedia SVG map. See PNG map [3] (for Facebook, etc.). |
| History of the US federal minimum wage. Over $14 (inflation-adjusted) peak in 1968. $7.25 an hour now due to Republican filibusters in the US Senate. |
See PNG version (for Facebook, etc.) |
| US. Student debt timeline of bottom 25% in wealth. By percent of total debt. Student loans used to be dischargeable the same as any other loan. Republicans (mainly) have made this nearly impossible. Unlike many other countries. See US history. [4] |
