There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for your message. (Sorry for replying in English, but my Spanish isn't as good as your English). I changed the colors some according to your comments to make it easier to see the differences. A problem with using two versions like you suggested on this map would be that it is already hard enough for all the various editors to keep one version continually updated. Please let me know if the changed colors work better. Thanks, Outsider80 (talk) 19:23, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gay adoption map

[edit]

File:Gay_Adoption_Map_Europe.svg

Hi Zotico. I'm not sure what the Spanish legend to the image says. In English, the gray colour means, that we do not know data about the country. But it is not true in many countries. The source says that gay adoption (neither joint adoption nor second parent adoption) is not available. It means, gay adoption is not legal, it is illegal (red colour). That is why I changed the map, because my collegues argued about the state in our country - Czech Republic. We can not say, that the state is unknown (grey colour). We do know the state in our country, adoption of children by same-sex couples is not available. How can we solve the problem? --Bazi (talk) 22:03, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I see. Thank you! --Bazi (talk) 19:55, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Matrimonio Unión Europea

[edit]

Hola!

--BernardaAlba (talk) 19:34, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

LGBT-rights in Africa: Benin

[edit]

Thank you for editing the LGBT-rights map of Africa. However, there is an error concerning the situation in Benin (should be gray, not orange: The text cited in older ILGA reports was referring to Tog and ILGA has corrected that error in its recent reports). I have added the relevant information to the talk-page of the graphics and (at more length) to the talk page of the article on LGBT-rights in Africa. Unfortunately, I have not been able to correct the error on the map itself.

Parejas del mismo sexo en UE

[edit]

--L736E (talk) 21:18, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Parejas del mismo sexo in UE

[edit]

Hello, your revertions of the file about Estonia and Czech Republic was based on an now out-of-date report from ILGA, which was reporting the status as of the end of 2015. But there was a further evolution on the information which changed after the snapshot described in that report. Actually, what in that report was described as "future" (i.e. early 2016, the report was explicitly stating at least for Estonia that "now" meant "November, 2015") has now become reality and both in Estonia and Czech Republic the civil partnership between same sex couples was definitively approved and is in force. The more updated sources have been added to the file description, but I report them also here for you: this one related to Czech Republic and this one related to Estonia - this latter completed the full implementation of the law that ILGA report was instead mentioning as "still in progress", based on information dated as of November 2015, while the new source is dated January 14, 2016 and fully reports the completion of the process, thus making the ILGA report out of date. The only "limited rights" are related to adoption but this is a different subject, which is outside the scope of the specific map (=report the state of the laws about civil union/marriage for same-sex couples). Your changes have been reverted based on the more updated sources. --Grigio60 (talk) 23:10, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
