First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki—it is really easy.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (direct access). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing.

Goodies, tips and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • All your uploads are stored in your personal gallery
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~
  • Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:Image:Foo.jpg]], which produces: Image:Foo.jpg
  • If you're copying files from another project, be sure to use the CommonsHelper
Made a mistake?
  • Did you want to rename or move a file? Simply upload the file again and mark the old one like this: {{bad name|correct name}}
  • For more information read the full deletion guidelines
(P.S. Would you like to provide feedback on this message?)

State-of-Florida Deletion Requests[edit]

Adding Copyright notices to a website is S.O.P., however, this does not demonstrate that the Copyright claim is accurate or enforceable. In Microdecisions, Inc. v. Skinner, 889 So. 2d 871 (Fla. 2d DCA 2004) (Findlaw) (Copy), The Second District, Court of Appeal, State of Florida, the Court appears to rule that the copyright claim is invalid. Gamweb (talk) 18:10, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This sounds awfully familiar. :) As I said on Wikipedia, I am contacting the Foundation's attorney. I presume there is a "hangon" option on Commons; perhaps it would be good to apply it to the images as the matter is resolved. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 18:36, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed the copyvio notice on File:VF LGSF Butterfly01.jpg, but don't take it as a "keep". I do take seriously the arguments you presented, but they would justify more than the deletion of a single image: the whole tag and all images using it would have to go. I'm asking right now about the better way to conduct this kind of deletion request, and as soon as that's settled I will open one with your arguments. Speedy deletion should be just for typical things, when so much legal details come into consideration like here things must be managed by many users, to ensure that we do the right thing and minimize the risk of a single admin taking a wrong action due to a misunderstanding or other error. Belgrano (talk) 17:14, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The deletion request is located at Commons:Deletion requests/Template:PD-FLGov. Please add it to you watchlist to answer the questions that may arise or futher justify your points if needed. Belgrano (talk) 01:35, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great to "see" you on Commons[edit]

We should start our own English Wikipedia Expatriate community or something. If you get a chance, check out the Editor's index to Commons and add any useful links you don't find there yet. --Teratornis (talk) 02:01, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm only just starting to get comfortable here. :) This is a very foreign environment still! It's nice to find a familiar face, though, and to see that you're continuing your custom of helping out. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 02:15, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's actually somewhat frightening that I'm helping out. I only started poking around here in earnest toward the end of 2008. I used much the same techniques we use to answer questions on the English Wikipedia Help desk to sort of learn my way around here. I noticed that a number of questions on the Help desk here were going unanswered, so I figured any attempt to help would be better than nothing. (It's fun to try to answer questions that aren't in English.) At first it was a little difficult because my favorite help tool (the Editor's index to Wikipedia) had no counterpart here. So I copied the index to Commons and edited it to (mostly) work here. There are lots of templates and such that we use on Wikipedia that don't seem to be here. Commons has a smaller user community and doesn't seem as high-strung as some parts of Wikipedia I have seen. The internal documentation, while large, is not nearly as large and detailed as Wikipedia's. Apparently not all of the latest search features on the English Wikipedia are working here yet. --Teratornis (talk) 05:20, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

permission information[edit]

The permission information was already given by my friend and this[1] movies producer Mr.Sri Rangan to the concerned email id. an email with copy of a written permission to OTRS is already sented. If you wanted to give the permission to be emailed to you. please feel free to mail me. --BlueLankan (talk) 02:25, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Files still awaiting OTRS confirmation[edit]

Hello, Moonriddengirl. The file(s) listed below have been marked with {{OTRS received}}, but there has been no complete confirmation of its permission status in the last 30 days. From what I'm able to tell, you were the person who added this template. Would you mind taking a look at this again? If confirmation cannot be found, this file should probably be marked for deletion. This should be the only notification you will receive regarding this image, so long as the comment I added to the image description page is not altered. Thanks! HersfoldOTRSBot(talk/opt out) 02:07, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you are not an OTRS volunteer or did not add the "received" template to this file, it's possible I made a mistake identifying the correct user. I look for the most recent diff where the template was added, so if you reverted an edit where this template was removed, I can't tell the difference. If this is the case, please let my operator know at w:en:User talk:Hersfold. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The file(s) in question are:

Hello, I have declined your request to change text in the license tag. Please read Template_talk:PD-India#Clarification. The main reason for this decision was controversy over "may be" and possibly dual interpretation of the license tag. As I sad in explanation I think changes like this needs to get wider support or at least must be discussed and don't rely on the decision of one administrator. -Justass (talk) 00:04, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

All right, I have opened a discussion there. Thank you for looking into it. Commons is not my usual project, and the slow response to the edit request was a bit surprising. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:27, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It was too much text typical COM:Admin can handle More seriously, seems no one was willing to sign under this change. As for the long delay - there are still open Deletion requests from the middle of the last year --Justass (talk) 13:16, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Middle of last year! Wow! :O Seems like you guys could use more help! Hopefully my note at the licensing talk page will be brief enough. I don't do "brief" that well. :D --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:19, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
From the "timely response" department, I agree, we probably could. If you've an interest in adminship I invite you to investigate it. As a note I nommed the files of that fellow you brought to COM:AN, thanks for that. Very dodgy provenance. ++Lar: t/c 12:21, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am tempted. I believe you could use an extra mop wielder or ten. But I think I need to become a bit more familiar with the environment before I consider it. At this point, my "platform" would have to rely on people trusting that I would not do what I don't understand. While those I've pestered on Wikipedia can attest that this is well in character for me, I could understand those who don't know me being cautious about such promises. :D --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:49, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Woman holding a balance[edit]

File:Jan Vermeer van Delft 015.jpg I noticed you reverted my upload. Unfortunately, now the poorest quality image is displayed the most in the Wikipedia project. Although the image I uploaded, is small and cropped a little because of the shadows from the frame, it is the one that shows the details of this painting the best. I could upload it under different name, but uploading it as a new version of this file, is the most efficient way to distribute it on Wikipedia. I hope you don't mind. Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 14:42, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Displaying a cropped image of the painting as the full painting is not optimal. Crops are useful to show details, but otherwise they misrepresent the painting. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:37, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hopefully, this will resolve your concerns about the detail. I had uploaded a clearer version of the entire painting, and I have now replaced the poorer quality one throughout most Wikipedia project pages with the new upload. (Some of the templated transclusions have not yet updated.) That said, I do not believe it is ever a good idea to replace a full painting with a cropped detail. In this particular case, in the version you've uploaded, you can't even make out the figure of Christ in the picture behind her, though it is thematically quite important to the piece. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:28, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can live with that, but I think the shadow part in the bottom left of the new image is overexposed, compared to the other images. It does not do the image justice either... Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 22:07, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If you can find a better image that portrays the entire painting, I'd be all for it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 23:17, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Okapis.jpg[edit]

Hi Moonriddengirl, I read your notice on my talk page that Okapis.jpg is due for deletion. However, before uploading the file, I had sought guidance/advice on wikipedia forum, and was told by admin users that I was allowed to upload pics that I clicked at a museum with my personal camera. Is it still a copyright violation? Thanks, Lilaac (talk) 20:12, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. :) I'm afraid that the admin user who gave you feedback may have inadvertently misled you, perhaps not understanding the nature of the picture you were taking. You can take a picture of a public domain artwork in a museum. For example, you could take a close up of the Mona Lisa because nobody owns its copyright due to its age. The fact that they own the picture makes no difference. The picture of Okapis was a different situation, because they were artificial animals in an artistic display created and conceived by the museum curators. In effect, it was a new work of art--a form of sculpture--and hence it was copyrightable. Does that help clarify? --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:48, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your response, what you say makes sense. I have another doubt, I clicked a picture of Smith & Jones Masala noodles, I got a deletion notice on my talk page for it, but how come a picture of Maggi masala noodles clicked by somebody is displayed on wikipedia? Is it a copyright violation to click a picture of a retail food product? Thanks again, Lilaac (talk) 07:29, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It depends on how creative the label is and whether or not the copyright is still in date. See Commons:Image casebook#Product packaging. Sometimes you will see images on Wikipedia that are not allowed on Commons, because Wikipedia does accept some copyrighted images under "fair use" allowances. More information on that is available at Wikipedia:Non-free content. Sometimes, though, somebody else uploads an unusable image to Commons, and it isn't immediately discovered. That seems to be the case here. I'll tag that one for evaluation. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:37, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vettel[edit]

Re your nomination of File:Sebastianvettel2010.jpg for deletion, File:Sebastianvettel2010 (cropped).jpg should also be given the same consideration. I cannot nominate it for deletion as it's protected due to transclusion. Mjroots (talk) 13:28, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, me, either. I'm not an admin here! I'll find somebody. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:47, 15 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Slavko Pengov[edit]

I do not understand why you have eliminated my photos of Pengov's paintings in Bled, in Žale and in the Parliament House of Slovenia. I have made these photos myself and I have dedicated a lot of my time to recover the work of this slovenian artist. I am very dissapointed with this violation of my work. --Oliver-Bonjoch (talk) 22:02, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your note. I've replied at your talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:35, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
There are a lot of photos of contemporary artists in Wikipedia. So all this photos have permission? Pengov's paintings in the Parliament House belong to the people of Slovenia, and the painting in Žale is outside, in a public place. Who owns the rights of Pengov's work? There are no books of Pengov's paintings anywhere. So I am the only one doing the work of getting to know Pengov's genius around the world.--Oliver-Bonjoch (talk) 22:48, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you tagged this as needing verification of release. It was the artist himself who uploaded and released it. See User:Buweosman. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 19:36, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. :) We need verification even if he says he is the uploader. That's why the tag says, "This also applies if you are the author yourself." Since we don't have any means of verifying identity on account creation, we don't have any choice but to verify through this method. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 19:59, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've just sent an email to the address on the artist's website, so here's hoping he receives it and responds. It's a wonderful image. SlimVirgin (talk) 20:38, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is. :) Your email is a good idea; I've been a happy camper since emails were enabled by default for talk page changes, too, since if he still has the same email address he should get notice my note. As long as he can verify that he is who he says he is, we shouldn't ever have to get verification for any images he chooses to share from his website again. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:18, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Fingers crossed. :) SlimVirgin (talk) 21:27, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification about possible deletion[edit]

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Copyright problem[edit]

Hi. I noticed that the user Cocosua88 [2] has uploaded a series of image files from the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore. All those images are licensed under Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-NC-SA 3.0). I would dearly like to use one of the images of a three-dimensional object but cannot, because of the NC part of the license. All of the images uploaded by this user which are not paintings are copyvios. For example File:Seated_Male_Figure_with_Incense_Burner.jpg which comes from this page,[3] where the license is listed below the image. Am I right in thinking that the three-dimensional images cannot be used? Regards, Mathsci (talk) 01:43, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Correct. I've tagged them all as copyvios for one of our colleagues to delete. It's a pity, they were nice photos. --99of9 (talk) 03:03, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New copyright article?[edit]

I brought up the issue of 'definition of publication by country' here: Commons:Village_pump/Copyright#Definition_of_Publication. I seem to remember you as a WMF copyright person. You may wish to weigh in on it or refer it to someone who does.--Canoe1967 (talk) 00:08, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You mentioned this file elsewhere and suggested that {{PD-US-no notice}} might not apply. Take a look here. It clearly says "© Evelyn Keyes #506" (possibly a different number, possibly with some small spelling variation in the surname). As far as I know, a copyright notice must usually contain a year, although there are exceptions in a few cases (not sure exactly when). Does this render the copyright notice invalid? There are two dates stamped on the back[4]: 6 March and 12 November 1944. Do you think that this satisfies the copyright notice year requirement, even though the year isn't next to the © symbol.

Since it is from 1944, I guess it is {{PD-US-not renewed}} anyway, since there would probably be too much trouble to renew the copyright to every single photo.

Just to get it right (and also since I'm not an expert on United States copyright formalities): do you think that the photo safely can be assumed to be PD, and do you think that the licence should be changed from "no notice" to "no renewal"? --Stefan4 (talk) 09:02, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, someone proposed the file for deletion, so let's take the discussion there instead: Commons:Deletion requests/File:Evelyn Keyes - 1944.jpg. --Stefan4 (talk) 12:05, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. :) I edit conflicted and moved my note (with minor changes) to that discussion. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:11, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Picture of the Year voting round 1 open[edit]

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

  1. Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
  2. This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
  3. Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

To see the candidate images just go to the POTY 2012 page on Wikimedia Commons

Wikimedia Commons celebrates our featured images of 2012 with this contest. Your votes decide the Picture of the Year, so remember to vote in the first round by January 30, 2013.

Thanks,
the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee

Picture of the Year 2013 R2 Announcement[edit]

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2013 is open![edit]

2012 Picture of the Year: A pair of European Bee-eaters in Ariège, France.

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 7 March 2014. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2013/Introduction/en Click here to learn more and vote »]

RE: Enrique Maximiliano Meza Photos + Darren Walker[edit]

Dear Moonriddengirl, the truth is that these Enrique Maximiliano Meza photos you mentioned on my Talk Page:[5] are "Own Work" because I took them myself. But Mixed-up Author description in the relevant pages. Author should have been me Lord777 on the description pages. I've already corrected the Author entry on the relevant photos. Also, concerning the Tacuary photos and Santos Laguna stadium photo, etc., note that I took most of these photos without a digital camera and gave the paper prints and films back to Enrique Maximiliano Meza at that time and went back to my base in Geneva: Switzerland. It was some years later that Enrique Maximiliano Meza sent me back these Tacuary photos as scanned images, and I worked on them for my Wikimedia upload - so this could explain why there are no photographic metadata on these photos in question.

On the the Darren Walker File:Darren Walker by Brokaw Photography.jpg photo, I'll forward appropriate email as indicated to me by your colleague Nick

Thank you so much, Moonriddengirl, for your valuable time, and commendable service on Wikimedia. Lord777

Ok Moonriddengirl, here the explanations from your inquires:

1. FIRST OF ALL, PLEASE DELETE THESE 3 NMF LOGO FILES, it was asked per email weeks ago and the nice guy nominated to me, but it is still ignored.

Origin of images[edit]

Mkmillenium, where did you get the document you have scanned at File:Historical Harmstorf.jpg? We need information on its origin to determine its copyright status. Likewise, with File:Ex-smvShinaitokuMaru1980-02.JPG, you seem to have taken a photograph of an historical picture dating to 1980 in 2013. Where was the historical picture you photographed? With images like File:Deutschland as Plantours.jpg, which are compilations of images taken on the internet, can you identify the specific images? I'm afraid we really do need more information on the origin of content. There's no reason for deletions like File:Itaipú Dam 325m 260m 247m 225m 196m 1981 Mechanical Power Plant Foz Do Iguaçu Brazil.png, if you will simply respond to inquiries and provide the necessary information. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:45, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your response.
Taking a picture of a public sign may be legally usable by us or not, depending on where the sign is taken. The laws are different in different countries. While you could not take a picture of a sign you find in the street in the United States and upload it here (because the law does not permit us to freely use content we photograph from the street in the United States), Germany is more liberal on that subject. I have modified File:Historical Harmstorf.jpg with the additional detail you have supplied and added the tag to show that it is believed that the photograph is permitted because of the laws of Germany. Please let me know if any information I have added there is incorrect.
With respect to the File:Ex-smvShinaitokuMaru1980-02.JPG, I suppose I am confused by the name of the picture. The ending of the name in 1980-02 seemed like a year, but the image was actually taken in 2013?
With respect to File:Deutschland as Plantours.jpg, your description says "Rendering based on Pictures in Internet" - can you indicate which pictures on the internet you mean? Even if some of the pictures were taken by you, we need to know all images that are involved in creating the work.
I don't know what "searching peeling in my eggs" means, but asking you to provide full information on images is actually productive. Content can be deleted at any time after uploading on any of our projects if community cannot verify its copyright status, and the more information you supply on the origin of the images the less likely it is that confusion later will lead to the loss of the content. It seems that the administrator who deleted File:Itaipú Dam 325m 260m 247m 225m 196m 1981 Mechanical Power Plant Foz Do Iguaçu Brazil.png believed it was a combination of illustration and photography; if it was not, explaining to the person who left you the notice that it was an entirely self-made image may well have prevented its deletion. It can take some weeks for email to be reviewed, but talk pages notices are generally seen quite quickly. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:00, 3 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2. CONCERNING THE IMAGES

Now I start to understand that images files are also articles... Strange but it seems, where i can edit, so i did appropriate. For the specific 4 here those detailed explanations:

2.A. HISTORICAL HARMSTORF : If you read in german at the bottom left side, you see the family who asked the plate to be made on beach, because the company Harmstorf - wrecks.

You can include this note if you want.

2.B. Ex-smvShinaitokuMaru1980-02 : It is my way to name all ships' photos in my compendium. Ex means not more existant, smv means sailing motor vessel, then the name of ship and YEAR BUILT. 1980 is the year this ship was launched, it means 35 years ago. This picture shows the ship when she was brand new. You can remove the -02, because this is my own identification of my files, it has only 2 of this ship, it means 2 pictures. I numbered 02, because in math it could have 99 pictures, which never will happen. If you do, remember in the article making the appropriate mention to find the file. Today ship travels modified without the sails. It was to do long time ago, but I took with the better camera, a picture of the old photo took from another camera. It could have been done scanned, but the communication between computer and scanner sometimes is not working. This way is easier. Then I put this picture there long time ago to identify and represent the ship. No other location in internet you will find this same picture, neither has substantial material of this ship.

2.C. The Ship Deutschland: I myself did many pictures of her here in Elbe river and spread in internet with pic upload, like many shipspotters do. Then the mention in internet was the miss understanding about the rendering making, not the photo itself, based in whate others appearance shows this constellation of colors, which i tried to reproduce with fidelity on this photo. I changed the sentence according. See if ok now.

2.D. In fact was a pity about the Itaipu dam diagram. The other was better because tried to explain the heights. In official brazilian website, which i studied all and made a wonderful edition in SSP, included the calculations. Unfortunate in Brazil it is not common to give all heights and says only about the barrage, but not about the 100m pylons atop. If you go the forum you will see my attachment showing the Edition, almost I included here also, but i think it is too much. So the Diagram was made using a 3D Modeling software, then I leveled to ground level infinite observations points, i.e. perspective parallel. Then it was included or tried to reproduce textures, but in no way has a mix of pictures. SSP does not allow. In fact even my huge knowledge in Graphical software i still have problems to attach a picture to a model. Really do not know how to do. If you see the drawing itself, the quality was changed several times in photoshop CS2 trying to put down the size to upload in SSP. Dylan Leblanc, the owner think it is not suitable, because the proportions are too wide instead of too high, so he deleted my edition, unfortunate, the biggest of this structure in world and one of highest constructions in Brazil, until 2014 the tallest. So the objective to re put the diagram here, is to show in a easy way all the heights, which lacks in all forums, and in all webs, blogs around the world. In fact i have to correct and put more details, like the deep of Paraná river. But as it was deleted, so please keep this one. It is a reference only, even not complete anymore.

I tried to put all info in the forms when uploading the files. In fact, wikipedia does not allow the empty blank space there. I tried as engineer and designer from University and pos graduation Master ever to be precise. If it is not, is because i did not understand those details or never heard about, now i know. The fact it was explained by email in commons, but also ignored it seems. Never got a response until now. Sincerely i did not liked much the result of the diagram, but it is the unique existent of Itaipú in SSP, and if you allow, here also. But if you want to delete go ahead, i really do not care anymore. Tried to contribute and help with my experience, but seems wikipedia does not need any my help.

3. I please ask you see what is happening in the logo gif at CRUCEROS SKORPIOS company page, it is not working properly in your server cache.

Regards. MK
