This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reports@wikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergency@wikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.


Report disputes with users that require administrator assistance. Further steps are listed at resolve disputes.


Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.


Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

Unprotect Category talk:1 person

Billinghurst deleted and salted Category talk:1 person for the following reason, "see Category_talk:1_people". I've checked the latter and found that Joshbaumgartner pinged the admin to move back Category:1 people to Category:1 person, which is contrary to the action of the admin. I've recently moved Category:1 people to Category:1 person as per a CFD, but the talk page does not get renamed due to the protection. Protect User talk:Qcne

Proxy-abusing sockpuppets of User:MidAtlanticBaby (see w:en:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/MidAtlanticBaby) have been repeatedly leaving harassing messages for this user on English Wikipedia, and since Qcne's talk page is protected there they have now resorted to leaving messages here and pinging Qcne on random talk pages. Block request: User:Asifaliam (sockpuppetry)

Asifaliam (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log)  is a fairly obvious sockpuppet of Azamali1 (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log) , who has been blocked for uploading a whole ton of images of their head photoshopped onto copyrighted celebrity photos, and using Commons for self-promotion. Impersonation / block evasion

User has just been indef blocked for checkuser block evasion on enwiki (en:Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Vanderpumpstan). They've uploaded five photos to Commons claiming to be actress Sally Jane Spencer uploading images of herself and her father, but per this Commons AN post about a previous sock they are presumably just taking images from the press and social media and claiming them to be personal photos. File:Me (Sally-Jane Spencer) and my father (Norman Spencer), 2020.webp was posted to https://facebook.com/10157962325026434 several years ago, File:Sally-Jane Spencer as Linda Patterson, 1976.jpg is a still from a copyrighted TV show. I created one month ago a request for checkuser, which was inconclusive, but user talk:Taivo#Missing categories and user:Taivo/Archive24 Jan–Mar#File:Yamamoto Heikichi.jpg are too similar.
