Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

- Hey, just so you understand why these images were deleted, read COM:SCREENSHOT. If you write another article like that, you can upload the images on Wikipedia as fair use. Counterfeit Purses (talk) 18:07, 8 November 2023 (UTC)

File copyright status[edit]
Welcome to Wikimedia Commons. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the project, one or more of your file uploads had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikimedia Commons takes copyright rules and infringement very seriously. Files may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our licensing policy, and if their source is clearly documented. Files that fail to meet those conditions may be deleted, and users who fail to meet them may be blocked. Please follow our first steps, if you haven't already. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the Village Pump copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. --Yann (talk) 08:18, 15 November 2023 (UTC)

- Hi @Yann,
- I appreciate your message and concern for authentic files on Wikimedia, but quite literally all of these photos have been taken by me. I don't understand how to prove it to you and I don't appreciate the threat that I will be blocked. I have visited La Pobla de Farnala almost every year since I was born. Same with Bogotá, where I took the photo of the Parque Portugal in January. TWICE is my favorite girl group and I've been to both of their latest tours, the photo being the one in March last year. The WVBR photo inside the studios above the stairs was taken by me, and I actually commissioned the custom vinyl pictured to be made in Colombia. I literally took the screenshot of the Zoom photo with John Legend and was the one who recorded the whole video as well. I appreciate you to find actual copyright violations rather than act on absolutely unfounded suspicion. Dalvago (talk) 10:28, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- Seeing your past record, and your poor understanding of copyright, we have legitimate reason to doubt that these are your own pictures, specially the ones without EXIF data. Could you please upload the original pictures with full EXIF data, or confirm the permission via COM:VRT? Yann (talk) 11:30, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Yann, you say "your past record," yet you're referring to literally 2 photos. None of the photos have EXIF data since I uploaded them through the uploader in the Wikipedia articles I was using them for, not through the Commons. I am new to Wikipedia and am new to the rules, hence why I didn't understand that this was necessary (until literally right now). I appreciate if you stop with the passive aggression ("your poor understanding" and the threats) and would assume good intent rather than not. Dalvago (talk) 11:36, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Yann I'm looking at my uploads now on Wikimedia Commons and I don't see anything that says EXIF data. What do you need me to add in order to not delete my own photos? Dalvago (talk) 00:53, 16 November 2023 (UTC)

Copyright violations[edit]
Hello Dalvago.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |
--Yann (talk) 08:24, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Yann They are not copyright violations. All the logos I uploaded were edited by myself and I have the Photoshop files to prove it. I created the CMG logo from scratch on Canva. I also made the EBR logo from past images during my time at CMG (the parent org of the label). I'm not dumb, I wouldn't upload something I didn't design myself. Please refrain from these threats Dalvago (talk) 10:32, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- You doesn't seem to understand how copyright works. Your logos are derivative works, and you are not allowed to upload them to Commons without a formal written permission from the copyright holders. Do not do that again, or you will be blocked. Yann (talk) 11:24, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- You are saying "your logos" but you are referring to the EBR logo. The CMG logo, like I said, was made from scratch by myself. Dalvago (talk) 11:33, 15 November 2023 (UTC)

- My apologies! Recently, I did an undeletion request and the person told me to reupload with all the metadata, and so I did that. I figured now I would have to do the same thing, so I reuploaded but this time with all the info Dalvago (talk) 22:15, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
