First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content).

You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
  • You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
  • There are several tools to upload files.
  • Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.
Made a mistake?
  • Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.
  • Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. עריכה שגויה[edit]

. .שלום. זוהי עריכה שגויה שאין לה קשר לתמונות המצולמות. משה דאנון אליו מקושרות התמונות היה הרב הראשי של סרייבו שחי במאה ה-19, הרבה יותר מאוחר מ"המשה דאנון" שאליו התכוונת. זוהי עריכה שקשה מאד לנטר כי לא כולם מתמצאים בנושאים הללו ומדובר ב"נישה". תשתדל בבקשה להבא להתעמק ולהכיר את החומר לפני שאתה מבצע עריכות שגויות. תודה Assayas (talk) 14:57, 22 September 2022 (UTC) [1][reply]

גם התגובה שלך שגויה. אנסה להסביר לך מה עשית ותשתדל הפעם לקרוא לאט. לקחת ערך קיים בוויקיפדיה העברית והצמדת אותו למאגר תמונות שהיה קיים בשיתוף ושייך למישהו אחר לחלוטין הנושא את אותו השם. זה שאתה חושב שהראשון יותר נחשב , מה שכעקרון נכון, לא רלוונטי לעריכה השגויה מאד שביצעת. על הדרך גם הסרת קטגוריות אשר שייכו את התמונות לעיירה סטולאץ בבוסניה והרצגובינה והחזרתי אותן, והוספת קטגוריות שגויות למאגר התמונות שכאמור כבר היה קיים לאישיות השנייה. טול קורה מבין עיניך ולמד בבקשה איך מתנהלים טכנית נכון. שנה טובה Assayas (talk) 20:54, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Assayas לגבי הקטגוריות קבל נא את התנצלותי. חשבתי לפצל את הערך לשני שמות שונים, כאשר בתחילה עלה בדעתי שהנוכחי יכיל את התוכן המשויך לקדמון. במעבר חד אני מוצא הזדמנות להודות ולהביע את הערכתי הצנועה על מפעלך הכביר בויקיפדיה, בפרט בנושאי יהדות הבלקן. נושא זה תפס אותי במיוחד לפני כמה שנים, אז שימשתי חזן בראש השנה וביום הכיפורים בסופיה. בשהותי במקום תרתי אחר הוד הקדומים אותו חזיתי בדמיון שהציתה בי הספרות התורנית וההיסטורית העוסקת במקום (אותה קראתי בעיקר אצל רוזניס). נדמה היה שמלבד שירת אין כאלוקינו בלאדינו וההתכנסות בלילות החגים לא נותר בידי המקומיים דבר שיעיד על מנהגיהם הקדומים. מה שחשף בעיני את העבר המפואר של הקהילה (מבחינתי) היו הספריות שהיו גדושות בספרים נדירים מהמזרח וההגהות הלמדניות הצפופות שהופיעו מדי פעם בצידי גליונותיהם. נהנתי גם מהשטויות שכתבו לעיתים התלמידים בדפיהם החלקים. שיאה של חוויה זו היה בביקור אצל אספן מקומי, שם קראתי בעשרות כתבי יד, מהם אוטוגרפים של הרבנים: חיים שבתאי (תשובות), חיבור מרבי יהודה אלכלץ (בכלל מאלג'יריה, מה עשה שם?), רבי שבתאי ונטורה (שהקדיש את ספרו לקהילת סופיה), ועד לרבי אשר חננאל ודניאל ציון (כשעוד כתב בסגנון החכם הספרדי...)

תודה על תגובתך. אגב, לגבי "שטויות" ו"היתולים" ממליץ לך לקרוא את ספרו של ד"ר אליעזר פאפו "והתלת לבנך". קישור בסוף השיחה. מתנצל אם הייתי תקיף מידי בתגובתי, פשוט לאחרונה נתקל יותר במקרים דומים לזה, שחלקם אפילו מתחילים כהשחתה של עורך אנונימי שכנראה לא נמנה עם אוהבי ישראל, והטעות נגררת לתוך הערכים בעברית. אם תזדקק לעזרה טכנית במרחבי הוויקי, אל תהסס לפנות אליי. שנה וחתימה טובות לכולנו.
