Please give images better names

I noticed you've uploaded some images and I thought I should draw your attention to a common error.

Please give uploaded images meaningful names. Otherwise they are difficult to track and it is hard to tell what the image is about without actually looking at it. Double categorys

Hello, I see you have re-added Category:Karlstad on some pictures you have taken that has been put in sub-categories to that one. That is against the general rule for categorization and is why I have reverted your edits. --Ainali (talk) 20:08, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. @JuTa: Tank you for contacting me in this way! The image is published on "Digital Museum", which is a Norwegian and Swedish publicly funded webpage were museums and other organizations can publish parts of their collections, such as photos. The photo is expressively released under Public Domain Mark 1.0. If you klick on the link to the source, you will find someting called "Licens", which is simply the swedish word for "license". Click on the link and change the end of the URL to ".en", instead of ".sv". I understand I am supposed to provide a link somewere, but I do not understand where? But the applied license on applies if the image was created before 1971. According the description page it was created in 2014. This does not fit together. --JuTa 00:05, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

@JuTa: The image was published on the webpage "Digital Museum" in 2014. But the original photo was allegedly created in 1962. The photographer died in 1973. Kindest. /EriFr (talk) 10:18, 3 April 2021 (UTC)
