Your deletion of File:LOGO_HLC.jpg

Hello!

If this file shows the logo as it is visible on the homepage of the enterprise (Hapag-Lloyd cruises), then it would arguably be legit on Commons using template:PD-Textlogo, as it is build of only simple geometrical shapes and letters. Missing evidence of Permission

Hi NahidSultan, you tagged some the photos moved by me from EnWiki as 'missing evidence of permission'. In the licensing section of the images it is mentioned that the copyright holder Pragyanparamitadas publishes it under CC-BY-SA 3.0, which I believe is compatible with the WikiCommons rules.--Mrutyunjaya Kar (talk) 03:08, 29 January 2016 (UTC)

Please undelete (and semi-protect, if you can) File:Debbie Rochon.jpg

You deleted a page after it had been overwritten with another image. The original image was not a copyvio. I think you'll find if you look at the image history that there was an edit war over the image for a while. --GRuban (talk) 21:09, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

Buttercup Angel Statue & Va Beach Sunrise deletions

I'm not sure why you marked my angel buttercups statue as a copyright violation.

The statue is in my possession and I carried it to a field of buttercups at Virginia Beach to take the photo. I would not infringe on copyrights. I freely share my work so others may use it for their purposes.

Two other photos of Va Beach sunrises were also marked and deleted. These I took when I lived at Virginia Beach and personally got up to see the beauty of the sunrise. I'm dismayed that you would delete my contributions without asking me. It seems every year when I make a contribution to wikimedia, I get flack....makes me wonder why....

Hi, According to Commons copyright policy if an image is uploaded from another website without the proof of permission statement which indicates that the file is in question is indeed compatible with commons license then it's generally get deleted. Now, regarding your three recent deletion of your file, they were grabbed from here then uploaded in here. The file "Toutes_Personnes_sont_franches_en_ce_Royaume.png" has been deleted by NahidSultan because of Copyright violation. I realised this file from a 1679 book, under "Domaine Public". So, I can't understand the reason why you did the deletion. My time is a bit short, so, if ever you delete my files, please give me good reason and the way I can correct an error. Hi, as I can see the file is clearly {{PD-old-100}}, with that said, we need to know the author name (I'm sorry as i don't understand language so i may have missed it) and the year of publication which is 1679 I believe. Now, the reason of the deletion was that you uploaded it as your own work. If you upload such work in future please be sure to put relevant copyright tags on them. hmm, I understand but according to the copyright law copyright holder is the person who created the work, simply own a copy of the work doesn't automatically grant anyone the right of the work. Hi NahidSultan. Can you check to see if File:En Vogue in Concert.jpg is the same as File:EnVogue2016.jpg which you deleted on February 12, 2016 as a copyvio? I didn't find the image in google online search and the uploaded file is not that bad quality. So, it's probably user's own work. The deleted file uploaded by this user were not actualy direct copyright violation, they were just lack of license tag that's why they were deleted (people often do that in the fist time). Deletion of several images showing de:Fichtel-und-Sachs-Bunker

Dear NahidSultan, you deleted four images from de:Fichtel-und-Sachs-Bunker (diff), among them File:Bunkermuseum SW.jpg. I couldn't find a deletion request or even a clear rationale for the deletion. As far as I remember, these files were mostly pictures taken around and inside the museum, showing no copyrightable items. But I might be mistaken. Actually Not. The news agency do use works of others that doesn't make them copyright holder. In the image it is clearly visible that thye copyright holder is Mahmoud Hosseini unless otherwise stated in somewhere else. Mahmoud Hosseini is one of the photographers of Tasnimnews! The site is clearly sent the statement to all for publish it's works. There's no need for the permission for each images by each photographers! GTVM92 (talk)
Just not sure about it. Could you please point me a page where the site cited Mahmoud Hosseini as one of their photographers? I'm mainly confused because the same image appears in multiple sites without publication dates and authors name. What constitutes valid proof? Frankly I regard your action as vandalism. You had no proof of a copyright violation, but went ahead and deleted the image without any inquiry. I see that you've done this to others as well. Please restore as soon as soon as possible, or inform me of the specific actions I should take.

It is not proven that in fact the violation was the other way, [3] being a copyright violation in relation to File:Hofstatt Einkaufs-Passage von Innen.jpg on Wikimedia commons, especially as that picture has lower resolution than the Wikimedia one. Probably the originator released the picture to both Wikimedia and the online architecture magazine. thus there may be no copyright violation at all. Actually, there was no deletion discussion and file was tagged as speedy for copyvio. Second, quality is the same on both sites. Uploader maybe uploaded the image on both sites but we still need the confirmation. Until the confirmation the COM:PRP will still be applied here if you don't beleive it's copyvio. File deletion

I see that you have deleted File:Love Advent 2014 video clip.ogg. This came from a source that was confirmed to have a creative commons lisence on 18:59, 10 December 2015 when File:Emily Ratajkowski.jpg was created. I just noticed that the source has reverted to a Standard YouTube License. According to Template:Change-of-license, You can stop distributing your work under a Creative Commons license at any time you wish; but this will not withdraw any copies of your work that already exist under a Creative Commons license from circulation, be they verbatim copies, copies included in collective works and/or adaptations of your work. Unblocked. Those pirates are using various methods and sometime it's hard to identify without checkuser. I assumed him/her one of them for two reasons, one, the last part of his/her username which is a short form of Bangladeshi currency and his only upload was a copyvio video. Thank you anyway. সুধী, প্রথমেই ছবি প্রতিযোগিতায় ৫টি/তার বেশি ছবি আপলোড করার জন্য আপনাকে ধন্যবাদ জানাচ্ছি। আমরা পূর্বেই ঘোষণা করেছিলাম যে, ডাকযোগে কোন সার্টিফিকেট প্র্র্র্রেরণ করা আমাদের পক্ষে সম্ভব হবে না। সার্টিফিকেট সংগ্রহ করার দুটি উপায় রয়েছে, যদি আপনি প্রিন্ট কপি নিতে চান তাহলে দয়া করে ঢাকা, চট্টগ্রাম ও রাজশাহীর আমাদের নির্দিষ্ট উইকিপিডিয়া সম্প্রদায়ের সদস্যদের কাছ থেকে সংগ্রহ করতে পারবেন। অথবা, কেউ চাইলে আামরা ইমেইলে সার্টিফিকেটের সফ্ট কপি পাঠিয়ে দিবো। অনুগ্রহ করে, এই গুগল ফর্মটি পূরণ করুন। আমরা পরবর্তিতে আপনার সরবরাহ করা ইমেইলে যোগাযোগ করবো। এছাড়াও, এ বছর বাংলাদেশের বিজয়ী ছবিগুলো দেখতে এই পাতায় যান ও সকল দেশের বিজয়ী ছবি দেখতে এখানে ক্লিক করুন। উল্লেখ্য, আন্তর্জাতিক বিজয়ী ঘোষণা করা হবে ডিসেম্বরর প্রথম দুই সপ্তাহের মধ্যে। আন্তর্জাতিক বিজয়ী ও বিভিন্ন হালনাগাদ তথ্যের জন্য চোখ রাখুন আমাদের সামাজিক যোগাযোগের পাতাসমূহে @WLMBangladesh ধন্যবাদ।

It's not mandantory. But it's good to review other images if you nominate a lot of images. We are all volunteers and currently all the others do this work for you. You decide nominating QI candidates, so IMO you can try to review some images. May be it's a good way to review an easy one first. Thank you. --XRay talk 06:29, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

The tag placed on that file was Speedy deletion. Administrators usually browse through CAT:CV and check them whether they are okay to delete or not. They usually don't check the time (in case of speedy deletion because they are clear cut case usually copyvios) when the tag was placed. ~ Nahid Talk 15:53, 29 November 2016 (UTC)

Incorrect deletion - you went against the advice of another admin - please note another admin has undeleted the file

I am looking forward to hearing a rational reason for your actions and for you to offer a solution, unless you wrongly deleted the file, which I would appreciate an apology for.

Please also note that I requested undeletion of the rest of the photos, and it was granted by admin Sebari https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Srittau. If you continue to have an issue with these files, I suggest you talk to the two admins listed above, and I suggest you offer a solution. What would you like to do?

@MilenaGlebova1989: Sorry for replying late. I was indeed editing but as I wasn't in home so I didn't take part in any discussion related edits. We often encounter such file where people just copied the file from another website and upload them in here. So, it is possible that I overlooked the permission at the bottom of the website. Either the permission of at the bottom of the site was added after I acted this speedy deletion request or I overlooked it which of course was a mistake. The file is now restored I can see. However, I'd suggest that if you upload such file in future please consider to put {{LicenseReview}} in them otherwise another admin might overlooked the license again.
