Coding for Books by year

Hello. I looked through the Templates and could not find needed coding like the ones you gave me. I particularly need the coding for:

  • Books from Spain by year
  • Books from Portugal by year (they are only listed under 16th Century books from Portugal etc.)
  • Books from Australia by year
  • Books from the Netherlands by year
  • Books from Denmark by year
  • Books from New Zealand by year
  • Books from Japan by year

Вопрос (и просьба)

Здравствуйте.

Прошу проконсультировать или помочь в немного необычной ситуации. Раньше я подал на удаление этот файл, посчитав, что это фейк — подавляющее большинство карт Ремезова сильно отличаются по стилю и манере исполнения (ссылка на примеры есть в номинации на удаление), сомнение также вызвали некоторые надписи. Однако оказалось, что эта карта (и конкретно этот файл) взята из серьёзного издания, из репринтного издания "чертёжной книги Сибири" — конкретно это 23-й лист с этнографической картой. Я правильно понимаю, что никаких препятствий к восстановлению файла нет? С уважением,--Draa kul (talk) 18:56, 4 April 2016 (UTC)

Wrong license

I guess that the license you're using here is not the correct one. It seems odd something by Google would be published before 1917. Savhñ 08:36, 29 April 2016 (UTC)

Привет, Андрей! Спасибо за создание этих категорий и перегонку туда серии имиджей. Но, если ты заметил, у нас по этой части есть проблемы. Одна из них связана с терминологией. Другая - с действиями одного из редакторов.

1. В русском языке мы используем термин ru:Вырезка (филателия) для любых марок (напечатанных и наклеенных) на конверте (карточке). Кроме того, у нас есть термин «Оригинальная марка» - для марок с оригинальным рисунком, которые напечатаны на конверте (карточке). Для полноты картины замечу, что в некоторых случаях на конверте (карточке) могли печатать марки нестандартных выпусков, с рисунком, повторяющим какую-либо тематическую (памятную) марку. В последнем случае мы, наверно, должны относить такие марки к собственно вырезкам и не считать их оригинальными марками.

2. В английском языке различают только такие вырезки, которые были напечатаны на конверте (карточке), и называют их w:Cut square (philately). Если эти напечатанные марки вырезаны по контуру самой марки, то их называют w:Cut to shape (сюда же англичане относят и беззубцовые марки, обрезанные строго по контуру рамки). Если мы возьмем те «оригинальные марки», имидж которых дан по контуру, то они, по-видимому, должны относиться как раз к w:Cut to shape. Если же оригинальная марка вырезана вместе с элементами конверта (карточки) и/или штемпелем гашения, то ее нужно относить к w:Cut square (philately). Сюда же нужно относить все вырезки с напечатанными стандартными марками, если они тоже вырезаны вместе с элементами конверта (карточки) и/или штемпелем гашения.

3. На Складе у нас пока есть такие категории:

  • Category:Imprinted stamps - вырезки напечатанных марок на конверте (карточке), но без элементов конверта (карточки) и/или штемпеля гашения.
  • Category:Cut squares - вырезки напечатанных марок на конверте (карточке), с элементами конверта (карточки) и/или штемпелем гашения.
  • Category:Original stamps - вырезки оригинальных марок с элементами конверта (карточки) и/или штемпелем гашения и без таковых. И эту последнюю категорию только что "переформатировал" один из участников.

У меня пока нет идей, что делать дальше. Например, куда все-таки раскидывать оригинальные марки? Что делать с очищенной на данный момент (в одностороннем порядке) категорией Category:Original stamps? Куда вставлять собственно вырезки (согласно русской терминологии)? Нужно ли выделять новую отдельную категорию w:Cut to shape? Что ты думаешь? --Michael Romanov (talk) 22:33, 3 May 2016 (UTC)

Привет. Я не сильно в этом разбираюсь, но думаю, что нужно использовать всё-таки английскую терминологию раз тут приняты названия на английском. Если хочешь разделить, то вводить новую категорию w:Cut to shape. По моим ощущениям ru:Вырезка (филателия) соответствует Category:Cut squares, а Category:Imprinted stamps и Category:Original stamps мной воспринимаются как примерно одно и то же - напечатанная на конверте (открытке) марка. Кстати, статьи ru:Оригинальная марка нет.
И по поводу этого. Категорию добавлял исходя из того описания, что там есть сейчас. --Butko (talk) 08:55, 4 May 2016 (UTC)

Stamps of USSR

Переименование файлов в категории

Здравствуйте. Добавляя файл в эту категорию, обнаружил, что все файлы имеют названия с ошибкой. Вместо слова "КрЮківського" написано "Кроківського" (от слова Крюков). Конечно, можно подать запрос на переименование по каждому файлу, но там их 12 штук (кроме последнего). Не поможете переименовать их оптом, а перенаправления сразу удалить, как содержащие ошибку? Гербы переименованных городов

Здравствуйте. Вы отменили переименования файлов File:Coat of Arms of Telmanivskyi Raion.png и File:Coat of Arms of Dzerzhynsk.png аргументируя это тем, что надпись на них не изменилась. Возможно, это правильно, но по-моему, непрактично. Если, например, оставить файл "Coat of Arms of Dzerzhynsk.png" нетронутым, а новый герб с новой надписью загрузить в отдельный файл "Coat of Arms of Toretsk.png", то придётся вручную заменять везде "Coat of Arms of Dzerzhynsk.png" на "Coat of Arms of Toretsk.png", что долго и неудобно. Я думаю, лучше будет переименовать "Coat of Arms of Dzerzhynsk.png" в "Coat of Arms of Toretsk.png", загрузить туда новую версию герба, а старый герб загрузить в файл "Coat of Arms of Dzerzhynsk (2003-2016).png". Тогда на всех страницах "Coat of Arms of Dzerzhynsk.png" будет заменено на "Coat of Arms of Toretsk.png" автоматичеки, и не возникнет ситуации, когда на какой-нибудь странице стоит старый герб. --Tohaomg (talk) 10:27, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

1) Сейчас такой проблемы вообще нет, т.к. герб только один 2) загружать новый файл поверх старого неправильно, т.к. они будут разные - нужны два отдельных файла с отдельной историей правок 3) заменять автоматически во всех статьях неправильно, т.к. в геральдических статьях используются иллюстрации конкретного периода 4) ссылку на актуальную версию большинство статей получают через Викиданные, так что обновление делается в одном месте 5) В Украине Тельмановский район район переименовали, а в ДНР осталось старое название, так что будут использоваться разные изображения в зависимости от контекста --Butko (talk) 10:47, 9 June 2016 (UTC)

Please stop stealing our history

Please stop stealing our history and moving Ukrainian books to Russian categories. I suggest keeping it in both categories to avoid conflicts like with Ukrainian and Russian writer Шевченко or Polish and Ukrainian poet Падура.

However file already in Category:Books from The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine. File:Павловскій А. Category:1915 in Warshawa Governorate

The proper noun of our capital city is "Warszawa". But the categories should be in English, so the English name is "Warsaw". And we have an article on en wiki: en:w:Warsaw_Governorate. Some old IKorpus and DenTV videos of yours were tagged for review a little earlier. They didn't have direct source links, but I was able to find those easily and review the videos. Videos without direct sources

Update: It looks like only the Den TV videos have since switched to a Standard YouTube License. The Pravda DPR, Korpus, and Essence of Time videos look to be mostly still free. Naming categories in English

Здравствуйте, Butko. Я заметил, что вы переименовали Category:Coats of arms of the Russian SFSR в Category:Coats of arms of Russian SFSR. Поскольку категории на Викискладе называются на английском языке (см. Название категорий и Языковая политика), то было бы уместнее называть их по правилам английского языка. Согласно им, Category:Coats of arms of the Russian SFSR является грамматически верным названием на английском.

Вот, например, простое руководство от Кембриджского университета. Если кратко, то определенный артикль "the" ставится перед странами в составе которых используются нарицательные существительные, такие как республика, федерация, империя и т.д. Например: the Donetsk People's Republic, the Soviet Union, the Russian Federation, the British Empire, the Tsardom of Russia, the Empire of Brazil.

Если не возражаете, я бы хотел вернуть прежнее название категории (Category:Coats of arms of the Russian SFSR). Название же без артикля (Category:Coats of arms of Russian SFSR) останется в качестве перенаправления. --Russian Rocky (talk) 21:51, 5 August 2016 (UTC)

Смущает только то, что в категориях нет никакого единообразия и чередуются то полные названия советских республик, то их аббревиатуры. Можно ли как-то все это дело упорядочить, чтобы формат именования был для всех един, или для этого нужно создать отдельную дискуссию? Сам я за полные названия, потому что в этому случае названия категорий будут наиболее информативны в файле даже для тех, кто вообще не знаком с советской историей, но в состоянии прочитать название категории на английском.
Например, по названию категории "Maps of the TSFSR/Maps of the Transcaucasian SFSR" (особенно когда название файла не на английском и без какого-либо английского описания) не понятно о каких картах идет речь, если не знаком с предметом. Поэтому далекому от предмета человеку придется перейти на страницу самой категории, чтобы выяснять что же это за карты. С полным же называнием "Maps of the Transcaucasian Socialist Federative Soviet Republic" в файле сразу понятно, что речь идет о картах определенной советской республики. Думаю, когда вопрос с форматом наименования определится, то я еще добавлю перенаправления с распространенных названий советских республик по формуле "Soviet + страна": Documents of Soviet Russia, Documents of Soviet Ukraine и т.д.
Что же касается артиклей, то добавить "the" к названиям республик, конечно, нужно, чтобы названия категорий были грамматически верными. Хотя было бы неплохо, если кто-нибудь из русских администраторов договорился с англоязычными коллегами, которые профессионально владеют английским, чтобы те составили список нынешних/бывших стран, где определенный артикль всегда используется перед названиями (заодно в таких списках можно указать, что в начале названия артикль может опускаться, ну и прочие особенности наименования категорий с артиклем). Особенно это актуально для стран, которые уже имеют категории на Викискладе, чтобы люди, которые захотят создать новые подкатегории (например: Maps of + United States, + Netherlands и т.д.) всегда могли бы легко узнать, что подкатегории Category:Maps of the United States (Карты Соединённых Штатов), Category:Maps of the Netherlands (Карты Нидерландов) будут именно с определенным артиклем "the". Не все на Викискладе обязаны владеть английским языком, однако грамматически правильные названия категорий стоит поощрять. Проект, все-таки, еще и образовательный.
Вот список новых названий для категорий, если решите переименовать:

Я заметил, что в названии одного округа Уральской области пропущено "национальный" (всего было 3 национальных округа в составе Уральской области (Коми-Пермяцкий национальный округ, Остяко-Вогульский национальный округ, Ямальский (Ненецкий) национальный округ), см. ru:Уральская область (РСФСР)), Category:Komi-Permiac okrug of Uralic Region of RSFSR - это Коми-Пермяцкий национальный округ. Этот округ назывался Коми-Пермяцким национальным округом, когда был в составе Уральской области (1925-1934). Затем округ был в составе Свердловской (1934-1938) и Пермской области (1938-2005). Переименован в Коми-Пермяцкий автономный округ в 1977, а в 2005 включен в состав Пермского края как ru:Коми-Пермяцкий округ, у которого уже есть категория на викискладе - Category:Komi-Permyak Okrug. Так что в таких случаях лучше назвать категорию про округ Уральской области по ее изначальному названию - Category:Komi-Permyak National Okrug, а если будут, например, карты с К-П округом в составе Свердловской области и Пермской области, то категории для них будут Category:Komi-Permyak National Okrug, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Category:Komi-Permyak National Okrug, Perm Oblast, а для карт после переименования в 1977 - Category:Komi-Permyak Autonomous Okrug и т.д. Исходя из этого, вот список новых названий категорий для округов Уральской области (в случае неоднозначности, можно будет переименовать с добавлением через запятую Уральской области (, Ural Oblast)):

Памятники Снежного

Добрый день, Андрей! Видел что Вы делали много фотографий из Снежного. Хотел поставить фото в таблице с памятниками города, но заплутался, так как там 4 памятника Ленина в списке и много военных мемориалов. Если есть возможность, помогите пожалуйста поставить фотографии в соответствии с описанием. И, если будет время, посмотрите пожалуйста другие места где Вы делали фотографии памятников. Посмотрел список. По моему, ничего добавить не могу. Тот памятник Ленину, что я сфотографировал находится на улице Ленина возле "Снежноеантрацит", его в списке нет. Братской могилы с улицы Новотко в списке тоже нет. Не нашел в списке памятников возле музея боевой славы, ликвидаторам чернобыльской аварии, Гагарину, первой шахте, жертвам политических репрессий. --Butko (talk) 13:05, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
Спасибо! Получается что даный список далеко не полный. Только вопрос, там есть памятник Ленину, написано что на площади Ленина. Может ли быть что это тот самый памятник? Или площадь Ленина и улица Ленина в разных местах находятся? --Visem (talk) 13:03, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
Карта показывает, что площадь Ленина находится между кинотеатром "Снежинка", техникумом и музеем и примыкает к улице Ленина. Там стоит ещё один памятник. Это не тот, что а моей фотографии --Butko (talk) 14:54, 9 August 2016 (UTC)

Where Can I contact the organization worker of DNR?

Hi, I guess you can speak English. I am looking for someone who contributes the DNR.

I didn't find the photos of diplomatic mission of Donetsk and I need someone to upload it.

I found many DNR photos here. But there is no file with diplomatic mission. I guess the DNR organizers can be found on wiki commons.

  • Not this case. Actually, I am also writing the articles of DNR's diplomacy as my research. I need a sign of Donetsk's diplomatic missions like:
  1. Donetsk Republic Public Movement representative office in Simferopol. [2]
  2. self-claimed consulate of Donetsk People's Republic in Czech
  3. Representative office of Donetsk, Moscow
  4. Representative office of Donetsk, Italy (don't know the name. maybe embassy?)

But those diplomatic missions have the copyright who belongs to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DNR[3]. So it's hard to get a file license. Can you find the Donetsk media worker to upload it? I need photos of embassy sign.--Beta Lohman (talk) 10:56, 25 December 2016 (UTC)

Unfortunately I don't know such media worker but I see two ways. 1) You can write e-mail to adress in bottom of Ministry's site. 2) You can ask wikimedians from Simferopol, Czech, Moscow, Italy to take new photo --Butko (talk) 19:00, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
