Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

File:Mother Teresa Trophy.jpg has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.
The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

- Hello I'm french. Regarding copyright, each contributor is subject to the law of his country. So from my country's point of view, there is no problem. Fair use is a case law used in the United States (but absent in most other countries, particularly French-speaking) which tolerates the reproduction of works normally protected by copyright. Each Wikipedia is free to define its own policy, I cannot be subject to English-speaking or other decisions, rules or laws. Photos can be stored and shared on the French-speaking wikipedia without worrying about being deleted. I therefore ask you to put back his 2 photos, please. Copyright violations[edit]
Hello Durante Inferno.
You have uploaded one or more files that are copyright violations. You have done so despite requests from editors not to do so, and despite their instructions. See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules by subject matter useful. This is your last warning. The next time you upload a file that violates copyright, you will be blocked. Please leave me a message if you have further questions. |

- Seriously XD. Hello. Receiving this, that has a dictatorship side, especially for a few insignificant things, it doesn't take much when a person proves and shows that his photos / logos could perfectly be posted on wikipedia. How ridiculous. It's quite funny because China does more or less the same method on various subjects. There is no real reason, except that one person has arguments contradicting another on a subject. It is very strange this kind of method which clearly does not have collobotative for projects and no democratic. “As the world gets stranger and stranger, a sort of dictatorship of normality is taking place. Especially on the web. ” Quote Tim Burton. On the other hand I say it, is because I have already seen this before, what you have removed in an undemocratic way will be put back one day, which will once again show the ridiculousness of certain decisions in the past or which will surely be soon. It won't come from me. It's only a matter of time. Cordially. Durante Inferno (talk) 14:10, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Hello Ytoyoda, you cannot delete their pictures or photos. First you are part of English-speaking wiki-commons, I created his images / photos on the French-speaking commons, as a French commons administrator could advise me, all his images or photos are admissible. And there is no copyright infringement. It's also a new job on my part, I had to modify them, change the color, the size of the files, transform the logos, ect ... which makes his photos / logos derived from photos / logos, these are new works. A derivative work is created from one or more pre-existing works. According to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886, a derivative work involves a transformation, modification or adaptation which in itself constitutes an original intellectual work. The derivative work enjoys copyright protection, without prejudice to the rights of the author of the original work. So your action is perfectly useless, please respect the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886. Cordially. Thanks for uploading File:Chypre du Nord vainqueur de la FIFI Wild Cup 2006.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Chypre du Nord vainqueur de la FIFI Wild Cup 2006.jpg]] ) and the above demanded information in your request. |
