Hello people!

You're welcome to give your comments here.

Marco

"4rd" is not an English ordinal abbreviation (it goes, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc.). AnonMoos (talk) 10:27, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Yes I know. I didn't think in this moment. Could an admin change it to "4th"? Thanks...--Marco Kaiser (talk) 10:56, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm looking for a picture of the insignia used from 1941-1945 in actual use. Can you include it in your article?

I've no idea what that means. If you're looking for the Symbol Image:4th Panzer Division logo 2.svg in use, you might find that via en:Google Image Search when you search for "4. Panzer-Division", e.g on this side: [1]. but be aware that this photos are not free for use! next time, please add your Username, it isn't fair if I don't whom I talking to. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

File:Hafizullah_Amin.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. What is your source for this image? It has been the subject of discussion in Wikipedia articles "Peace Symbols" and "Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament". Thanks. Marshall46 (talk) 16:12, 29 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The source for this symbol as the "3rd Panzer Division logo" appears to be the website German Dress Daggers, whose webmaster is K.P.Rhodes. Over the last three months I have written to Mr Rhodes several times to ask what is his source for this logo, but he has not replied. I believe that this symbol is, in fact, the peace sign and was never used by the 3rd Panzer Division. I have proposed that the file be renamed "Peace sign2.svg" unless a reliable source for the present name can be found. Pelarmian (talk) 09:53, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Great question. I've never seen this one. The Y one, the bear one, sure, but not this one. Marco hasn't been active for six months, so the best course of action is probably to nominate it for deletion. I'd support that course of action. 342nd Infantry Division[edit]

G'day Marco Kaiser. I've recently created an article on WP for the 342nd Infantry Division and having seen your work on the unit insignia for 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian), I wondered if you would be willing to create a similar insignia for this division? I have a basic image from the internet that could be used as a guide, and could email it to you or provide a link. Thanks, Peacemaker67 (talk) 22:56, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Goldener Reiter[edit]

— Preceding unsigned comment was added by 93.215.95.162 (talk) 13:17, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo! Da muss ich leider auf die Literatur verweisen, die ich selbst nicht besitze. Siehe Truppenkennzeichen von Wehrmacht und Waffen-SS. Gibts zum Teil auch Online.

Thanks for uploading File:Hafizullah Amin.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Hafizullah Amin.jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.
