Tiedoksi[edit]

Onneksi olkoon, kirkkokuvasi on päässyt Hesariin [1]. Keskustelua aiheesta myös Kahvihuoneessa. Yt, -Htm (talk) 15:27, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mitä tälle asialle kuuluu? Mitä on tehty? --Paju (talk) 14:26, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Täytyypä tutkia asiaa fi-wikin puolella kuhan ehtii. Tekijänoikeuskahvihuoneesta pitäisi löytää oikeaan paikkaan, jossa selostettu toimenpiteitä. -Kuvien tekijä voi tehtä rikosilmoituksen tekijänoikeusrikkomuksesta, se otetaan vastaan, mutta saat paluupostissa ilmoituksen tutkinnan lopettamisesta, koska rikoksesta on seurauksena korkeintaan sakkoja. Hesarin jutun laatinut toimittaja on nyt vuosilomalla syyskuun alkuun. -Htm (talk) 07:10, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why contributor is not shown, should one study page history or what?? 2) Kindly note that my participation in Commons is mostly for supportting role (wikipedia articles, art and historic and nature objects) and not so much participation in some artistic competition. Please use sub-categories[edit]

dansk | Deutsch | Österreichisches Deutsch | Schweizer Hochdeutsch | Deutsch (Sie-Form)‎ | English | español | suomi | français | עברית | magyar | italiano | 日本語 | norsk bokmål | Plattdüütsch | Nederlands | norsk | polski | português do Brasil | русский | sicilianu | svenska | +/−

When categorising files, please avoid placing them into several categories that are directly linked within the same tree (e.g. a parent category and a child category – like Category:United Kingdom and Category:London), to prevent over-categorization of files and over-population of categories. Usually, only the most specific category should be used. See Commons:Categories for more details. Thank you.

Yes, that is what I try to do. The challenge is - especially during Wikiprojects like Wiki Loves Monuments - that some preset categories for objects are originally very general, like Category:Kuopio, even though one could have more specific ready-made categories. When I then select more detailed sub-categories and try to replace some of the preset values, as part of mass loading - I cannot always know which of those are subcategories of each other. Tools to see category structures visually when selecting subcategory would help). And if one is tired which is often the case with wikimedia editing as it is one of freetime (including lunch break) activities - sometimes some of the original categories remain (I forgot to remove it). I have considered it is better to download files with general categories instead of not downloading them at all. Hopefully later, when some part of Wiki Loves Monument related photos are downloaded, one has more free time and can reclassify photos. E.g. last night I was considering need to generate couple of new categories for heritage related, more specific locations. But I was too tired to do so. Trying to do it later, alligator. --Paju~commonswiki (talk) 10:47, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Status Public domain was mentioned already before, but I have added now couple of other PD-statements. And removed the automatic warning as instructed. The source, i.e. digital archives of the National Library of Finland clearly state this to be Public Domain (see source link) as the Almanacka (1808) was published already in 1807. --Paju~commonswiki (talk) 07:46, 16 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

File:Jsc2018e038857.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
