Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Categorisren Rijksmonumenten

Hallo, Kasteelbeer, misschien helpt bij het categoriseren van rijksmonumenten deze aanwijzing: de object-categorieën voor rijksmonumenten zijn (vrijwel alijd) ingedeeld naar gemeente, daarnaast wordt als locatie-categorie de plaats binnen de gemeente gegeven. De provincies zijn automatisch parent-category en worden er niet bij gezet. --Havang(nl) (talk) 15:38, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Velhorst

Hallo Kasteelbeer, Moet ik bij gebruik van een van je foto's de naam Joost Postma gebruiken? Het gaat om de foto van de Velhorst ([1]), die je hebt gemerkt met CC-BY-SA. --Theo Oppewal (talk) 17:27, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Waar komt die naam Joost Postma toch vandaan? Ik ben Peter van der Wielen, dat hoort bij de foto's te staan.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Attend the award ceremony of the Dutch Wiki Loves Monuments 2011

Dear Kasteelbeer, We've already thanked you for your contribution to the Wiki Loves monuments photo contest. But with a contest, there are prizes to win! The award ceremony will be held in Utrecht on Saturday the 5th of November, at the end of the Dutch Wikimedia Conference at Media Plaza, held the same day. Wiki Loves Monuments NL

Beste Kasteelbeer,

Alle winnende foto's van Wiki Loves Monuments 2011 zijn ondertussen gedrukt als kalenders.

Wikimedia Nederland stelt er hier 100 van beschikbaar voor alle uploaders van de afbeeldingen. Geef op de bijgevoegde link je naam en adres en we sturen je kosteloos een exemplaar toe, als dank voor je deelname! Let op: op = op!! Bestel hier één kalender per adres.

Ook dit jaar zal er in september weer een Nederlandse Wiki Loves Monuments plaatsvinden, als onderdeel van de internationale wedstrijd. Meer informatie vind je tegen die tijd op http://www.wikilovesmonuments.nl/.
Ook zoeken wij nog vrijwilligers die het leuk vinden om mee te helpen met het organiseren van de landelijke wedstrijd of van locale evenementen (een "Wiki takes..." in je eigen woonplaats dus!). Meer informatie daarover vind je op de wiki van Wikimedia Nederland.

Beste Kasteelbeer, Voor Wiki Loves Monuemnts benader ik de pers. Ik zie dat jij tot de top3 uploaders hoort op dit moment. Met prachtige foto's van vooral kastelen e.d. Veel in Limburg ook. Het lijkt me een goed idee om een Limburgse krant te vragen aandacht te besteden aan Wiki Loves Monuments met als link naar de regio jouw bijdrage aan het verzamelen van zoveel mogelijk vrije foto's van rijskmonumenten op Wikipedia.

Zou je daaraan mee willen werken? Je kunt me een mailtje sturen op els@wikimedia.nl, graag met je telefoonnummer, dan bel ik je om het nog even door te spreken.

Beste Peter, het is geweldig hoeveel foto's van kastelen en landhuizen je hier toevoegt. Maar ik zag dat je deze allemaal in de Category:Rijksmonumenten hebt geplaatst. Dat is op zich niet verkeerd, maar handiger zou het zijn als je ze de categorie Rijksmonumenten in XX had meegegeven, waarvoor i.p.v. xx je een gemeente- of provincienaam kunt invullen. Misschien wil je dit nog aanpassen voor je al geüploade foto's of in elk geval toepassen voor eventueel nog bij te dragen afbeeldingen? Dit scheelt anderen weer een hoop werk. Alvast hartelijk dank! Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 is weer begonnen!

Beste Kasteelbeer,

Wiki Loves Monuments 2017 is vorige week begonnen! Aan deze fotowedstrijd nemen dit jaar 54 landen deel, waaronder bijvoorbeeld Nederland, Groot Brittannië, Thailand, Rusland, Oekraïne, maar ook de eilanden Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius en Sint Maarten in de Nederlandse Caribean. Je wordt dus van harte uitgenodigd om te kijken tussen de deelnemende landen of jouw vakantieland er ook bij zit dit jaar en je foto's uit die landen ook te delen!

Net als voorgaande jaren hebben we prijzen voor de mooiste foto en de meeste foto's en een keus gemaakt voor een speciale categorie. Heb jij een foto gemaakt van een monument waarvan voor 1 september 2017 nog geen afbeelding op Wikimedia Commons bestond? Dan doet de afbeelding mee in de speciale categorie! Heeft een monument nog geen foto in de monumentenlijst op Wikipedia, dan is het aannemelijk dat we er nog geen foto van hadden. Om het zoeken naar monumenten zonder afbeelding wat makkelijker te maken, kun je op Wikipedia lijsten en een kaart van Nederland vinden.

Tot slot nodigen we je nog van harte uit om volgende week met ons op pad te gaan. Op zaterdag 16 september wandelen we tijdens een Wiki Takes rond in Hoorn: op zondag 17 september doen we hetzelfde in Leiden. Onder ervaren gidsen wandelen we langs monumenten in de stad en nemen we ruimschoots de tijd om de monumenten goed op de foto te zetten. Aanmelden verplicht en plaatsen gelimiteerd!
Tot en met 30 september heb je de tijd om je foto's up te loaden: de top 10 gaat door naar de internationale wedstrijd, waar de hoofdprijs de nieuwste Canon EOS 5D camera is!
