First steps tutorial

Our first steps help file and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki - it is really easy.

More information is available at the Community Portal. You may ask questions at the Help desk, Village Pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons. You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing.

Goodies, tips and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your Graphics abilities.
  • All your uploads are stored in your personal Gallery
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~
  • Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)

  1. Veo que no quieres enterarte. Que da igual como lo pongas: me creo que la imagen la hayas hecho tú. Lo que tienes que demostrar y no haces es que el escudo carece de derechos de autor. (Símil: me creo que hayas dibujado el logotipo de Coca-Cola que has subido, pero dado que dicho logotipo está registrado, el dibujo supone una violación de los derechos de autor.) Que el dibujo concreto lo licencies bajo GFDL, CC-BY-SA o lo dones al dominio público importa un bledo (siempre que se admita en Commons).
  2. Respecto a lo de dar por saco y tal: o rebajas el tono o pediré que te bloqueen. Eres tú quien infringe las licencias, así que menos humos.

Imágenes[edit]

Hola Midir, no es necesario tener una página web para contribuir aquí, sino que las imágenes las hayas tomado tú mismo. La mejor prueba para demostrar esto es que las subas con la mayor resolución posible y si nos las modificas en ningún programa de retoque de imágenes aparecerán con los metadatos (o sea, las especificaciones) de tu cámara. No puedes subir imágenes tomadas por otros, aunque las encuentres colgadas en páginas sin mención de copyright, ya que se considera implícitamente que poseen los derechos de autor de su creador y para utilizarlas aquí es necesario un permiso cediéndolas en las condiciones requeridas por Commons (si has leído las normas ya sabrás cuales son esas condiciones).
El escudo es algo diferente, dices que lo has dibujado tú, pero ¿basándote en el diseño del del ayuntamiento? o ¿Escaneándolo de un libro o un documento del ayuntamiento y retocándolo después? Las representaciones de los escudos también tienen derechos de autor. Quizá pudieras averiguar si el escudo está en dominio público contactando con el ayuntamiento o solicitarles permiso por escrito para utilizarlo. Debes entender que es necesario seguir las normas de aportar origen y licencia adecuados en cada imagen, sino hubiera sido Dodo cualquier otro podría haber marcado tu imagen como carente de datos y habría terminado borrada igualmente. No se presume mala fe en nadie, simplemente es la única forma de salvaguardar al proyecto de posibles denuncias por infracciones de copyright. Un saludo. Anna 21:27, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hola, no entiendo bien lo que quieres decir con Entonces cuando registre la imagen mía..... Si te refieres a subir una imagen tuya aquí pues efectivamente es simple, en la tabla de información explicas que eres el autor y la licencias con {{self2|GFDL|cc-by-sa-2.5-es}}, la licencia aparece debajo de la imagen.
La imagen del cristo se podría subir si realmente tuviera un origen y una fecha constatable, pero sin poder añadir esos datos no la subas porque será borrada, además de no poseer la calidad suficiente para que sirva aquí. En cuanto al escudo, si tu primo lo dibujó a partir de la descripción que existiera en algún documento es obra suya o vuestra, explica eso en la tabla y añade la licencia {{PD_self}}. Has cogido el Delorean de Doc Brown, has viajado al 27 de abril de 2007, has tomado unas fotos, has regresado al pasado (desde mi perspectiva el presente) y las has subido a Commons :O O, tal vez, has tomado las fotos en el pasado, las has subido en el pasado inmediato y simplemente les has puesto por error una fecha del futuro "27/4/07". Por lo que dice 20 minutos se entiende que sí liberan esa imagen, pero eso solo sería válido si 20 M hiciera las cosas bien y la imagen fuera realmente libre o suya. Las intrucciones para cambiar el nombre de usuario están en Commons:Changing username. Si ya tienes unificado el nombre de usuario en todas las demás wikis (Mate:Help:Unified login/es), dilo para que se vea que tienes buenas razones para usar este nombre.
