Variable names removed

Is SwarmCheng (talk · contribs) a probable sock / duck of Judgefloro (talk · contribs)? For instance, the entire category Category:Construction of Pulilan-Apalit Bypass Road (Tabuyuc) contains near-duplicate files by them, with numerical disambiguations. Several descriptions are very long enough, like File:Construction of Pulilan-Apalit Bypass Road (Tabuyuc) 28.jpg. I discovered this curious case through Category:Rizal Avenue (Manila), in which one of their files is categorized there. I don't speak or read Korean, but is the Korean used in the screenshot legible or says anything that could be copyrightable? I highly doubt Comme des Garçons would license this under Creative Commons but I wanted to check before I fix anything. (Came across it helping with the media needing categorization backlog). Some help..

I am feeling tired because I have touched stuff where I'm not much qualified. I wanted to create something to be included on file pages as an attribution warning etc. I began with creating Template:Deoband Community Wikimedia and following stuff of a few pages I created Template:Attribution-Deoband Community Wikimedia as well one some other sub pages. If I try to use the latter on files, it doesn't display correctly, just the former one works okay. I however, look the style of the latter one. Could you please help me fix this mess? No permission on PD images

Hi, I don't think {{No permission since}} should be used on images tagged as PD such as File:Asociación de Clubes de Fútbol Femenino.svg (or stuff like PD-old without info on creation, publication, or author death), since that template is an explicit request for evidence of permission or identity, whereas what is actually being requested is evidence or explanation of status. I think it's better to send those to COM:DR, or speedy if there is not "a reasonable possibility of discovering that the work is public domain through further research or a plausible argument that it is below the threshold of originality" (COM:CSD#F1). -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 01:19, 3 March 2023 (UTC)

Hello, Minorax,

Nice to see you over here. I just deleted a very promotional biography that displayed images uploaded by the actor's talent agency. I've never done a bulk nomination before so I was wondering if you could do so for the files uploaded by AA Agent (see Special:Contributions/AA Agent). I've only nominated individual files that had very clear problems so I'm not well-versed on whether promotional images of an actor from their agency warrant deletion if they are not being used. I know you know a great deal about the use of image files on Wikimedia projects so I thought I'd touch base and see what you could tell me. I did nominate a rather pretentious promotional photo uploaded by the actor so we'll see what people think of that one (see Commons:Deletion requests/File:HBTheKnight.jpg). Another Judgefloro sock?

Just went to Category:2023 Manila Central Post Office fire and discovered tons of uploads by a certain McpoJMdeLeon (talk · contribs). With identical social media-style angles and camera model as the recent uploads by JDipterocarpus (talk · contribs), I suspect they are another sock of Judgefloro (talk · contribs). The photos are nice though, documenting the recent fire that destroyed much of the 1926 artwork of Architect Juan Arellano, but his act of uploading more than 20 instead of just 3 to 6 photos of the same destroyed building is utterly detestable and leaning to COM:WEBHOST-ing, treating Commons as his personal social media site and cloud storage platform. Unsure about this user (FJoseVF (talk · contribs)). I discovered his uploads thru the same search method as I used in detecting Judgefloro socks. An immediate inspection of his uploads show some redundancies in images as well as file title patterns that are similar to patterns used by most recent Judgefloro socks, like File:La Consolacion University Philippines Bulihan Campus 24.jpg and File:La Consolacion University Philippines Bulihan Campus 48.jpg. I saw that you added {{No permission since}} to two files I uploaded. I reverted your change and as written in the summary I'll add it here as well: I suggest to read (and understand) the provided source page and FREE LICENCE that is CLEARLY VISIBLE for everyone!. So feel free to check out the source page, read it, understand the text and compare the licence. I also suggest to have a look at en:Open-source film while you are at it.
I always make sure that the files I upload have an undisputable copyright status and I add all the necessary information to the description page of the file. I know that many copyright violations hide on Commons, so I'm not against anybody having a second look at my files. However, since all information that is needed to verify my claim of the file's copyright status is provided I expect everybody to have a look at the source BEFORE they add such a tag.

Re: No permission on Elephants Dream posters

I noticed that the posters for Elephants Dream were marked as missing permissions (1, 2). I give more info as to why in my reverts, but the gist is that the file is explicitly under the CC-BY license by it's makers at Blender (https://cloud.blender.org/p/elephants-dream/55f2d0dc2beb33006e43dd82). Because of this, I had to revert the changes.

Edit: Same with the poster for Spring (1).

Using the same method as detecting Judgefloro socks, I found one of the user's contributions which is File:Caloocan (Central Business District) 01.jpg, with the same title format. Same mass uploading of very redundant and needless "progress" pictures of everything in Metro Manila and Bulacan. Is SJasminum (talk · contribs) another sock (or duck) of Judgefloro? Also, are several his photos at Category:Department of Education Regional Festival of Talents (fruit and vegetable carving contest) problematic because of food art? Is food art an artistic work? 您好，我最近在中文维基文库上正在处理澳门的新危险品法规（第27/2023號行政法規），其附件一规定了一些危险品标签。大部分标签均能够在Diagrams of ADR markings的现成图像中找出，但由于和第7类危险品的标签只有英文版本，因此需要在共享新建新的图档。

  • “放射性I” [1]：参见File:ADR 7A.svg，将“RADIOACTIVE”改为“放射性”、“CONTENTS”改为“內裝物”、“ACTIVITY”改为“放射性強度”，另外略去原图的“TRANSPORT INDEX”；
  • “放射性II” [2]：参见File:ADR 7B.svg，将“RADIOACTIVE”改为“放射性”、“CONTENTS”改为“內裝物”、“ACTIVITY”改为“放射性強度”，“TRANSPORT INDEX”改为“運輸指數”；

You probably haven't heard that there is a war going on in Ukraine. That is why they introduced a ban on panoramic photos. But this does not mean that you need to delete photos of ALL monuments in Ukraine.
