Ribe

Hej Thomas. Jeg stødte lige på et af dine billeder. Vi har et stort antal billeder fra Ribe, organiseret bl.a. efter gader (eks. Category:Sønderportsgade) og bygninger (eks Category:Maren Splids Hus), som med fordel kunne bruges til nogle fine wikipedia-artikler i stil med f.eks. da:Kategori:Gader i Indre By (København). Jeg er kommet meget i Ribe og har selv taget en del af de billeder der er på Commons. Jeg har i nogen tid drømt om at få de gamle gader og nogle flere af de fredede huse i Ribe på Wikipedia, men får det vist aldrig gjort alene, da jeg ofte har for travlt med at organisere billeder, bekæmpe hærværk på Wikipedia og meget andet. Derfor vil det være super hvis jeg kunne samle en håndfuld interesserede til et arrangement (et "edit-a-thon"), hvor vi kunne kigge på sagen. --Hjart (talk) 08:40, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Hej - du har fat i den helt rigtige mand :-) Jeg har små 10.000 nye og gamle billeder fra Ribe. Postkort og meget andet..... Du finder et link her https://ribebilleder.fotoware.cloud/fotoweb/ til den hjemmeside jeg har i dag, der koster mig 20.000,- kr. årligt og som jeg nu har opsagt. Jeg leder efter et alternativ.

Endvidere har jeg www.ribekron.dk hjemmesiden Kort fortalt har jeg en masse billeder og viden om Ribe, som jeg drømmer om at forene et sted, hvor alle har glæde af det. Men jeg har ikke helt fanget, hvordan dette virker.....

Www.Ribe.nu er også mit domain.

Det kunne jo være en start at skrive de historiske noter ind, som Hans Henrik Engqvist fældede ned i sin Bevaringsplan fra 1969. I'm all in - jeg skal bare ha hjælp til at komme i gang med at forstå, hvordan jeg skal bruge dette rigtigt.

Det ser godt nok ud til at vi har rigeligt med grundlag fpr nogle fine artikler på Wikipedia om Ribes gader og huse mm. Commons er for de fleste ikke så lettilgængeligt og det er kun få der ser billeder mm der, så det er primært bare Wikipedias billedlager. Tricket er at lave artikler i stil med Category:Puggaardsgade (Ribe) (klik på "Wikipedia" under billedet i infoboksen til højre) og Category:Tårnborg (Ribe) (som begge sagtens kan udbygges betragteligt). Jeg vil meget gerne mødes og forsøge at sætte dig ind i mine erfaringer med hvordan man bedst gør det. --Hjart (talk) 12:22, 22 December 2020 (UTC)

Ja, jeg har nok brug for, at du sporer mig lidt ind på stilen i forhold til kilder, kopiering og andet. Jeg er stor fortaler af at kopiere og ikke omskrive. Men så til gengæld kreditere den, der har skrevet teksten. Men der er meget forskellige holdninger til den slags. Endvidere kan jeg nok ikke sidde mig ned og skrive en færdig artikel om en gade eller bygning. Min kilder er spredte og jeg har et ønske om løbende at berige en side, når jeg finder nye viden. P.s. Husk jeg har domains, der kan lede søgende på rette vej...

Bemærk at man på Wikipedia er meget opmærksomme på ikke at bryde nogens ophavsret/copyright og at man derfor skal være meget forsigtig med bare at kopiere fra værker af forfattere der ikke har været døde i mindst 70 år. Nej, jeg kender ikke så meget til det. Det ser umiddelbart ud til stort set at være et enmandsprojekt. Hvis du klikker på "Seneste ændringer" i sideboksen, kan du se at der p.t. sådan set sker en del, men at der kun er en enkelt bidragsyder. Personligt ville jeg se den slags an et pænt stykke tid inden jeg eventuelt begyndte at bruge krudt på det. --Hjart (talk) 16:42, 8 February 2021 (UTC)

Nye kategorier

Det er ok. Det tager gerne lige lidt tid at sætte sig ind i nye systemer :-)

Undgå helst at bruge "/" i kategorinavne. Det er af tekniske grunde ikke så heldigt. --Hjart (talk) 21:51, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

I mange tilfælde er det ligeledes en bedre ide lave en redirect til den gamle kategori (f.eks. Torvet xx -> "Den gamle arrest") --Hjart (talk) 21:56, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

Ja, det er jeg. Førstnævnte er til fredede (listed) bygninger som vi jo har en hel del af i Ribe. Den anden til almindelige (ikke-fredede) bygninger.

Det har jeg så rodet rundt i..... - jeg troede du ville have et samlet overblik..... Beklager

Jeg har organiseret billeder på Commons overalt i DK i flere år nu og der gik derfor desværre lidt tid inden det gik op for mig at du måske ikke var helt klar over hvad "listed" betyder. Det beklager jeg meget. Vi bruger så vidt muligt fælles engelske kategorinavne til kategorier der ikke er egentlige navne for sikre at også udenlandske turister har en chance for at finde rundt i dem. --Hjart (talk) 22:44, 21 December 2020 (UTC)

filnavne med gadenavne (også dem med husnumre), der kan forveksles med gadenavne i andre byer, må du meget gerne afslutte med ", Ribe". Vi har endnu ikke alt for mange gadefotos uden for hovedstaden og Århus, men jeg forudser at det kommer. --Hjart (talk) 18:23, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

Lokomotiv-kategorier

Hej Tdn70

Det er ikke nogen god ide at give hvert eneste lokomotiv sin egen kategori. De fleste har kun brug for et billede af typen, ikke et specifikt lokomotiv. Men det bliver nærmest umuligt at finde de gode billeder, hvis de er spredt udover 20-25 kategorier med en eller to billeder i hver. Man bør kun oprette sådanne kategorier, hvis der er mange billeder af et bestemt lokomotiv. Det er for eksempel tilfældet for de lokomotiver, der står på Danmarks Jernbanemuseum eller benyttes til veterantog. Ved tog i almindelig drift er det unødvendigt, for der er det som regel ligegyldigt, om det er det ene eller det andet lokomotiv, der ses på billederne. --Dannebrog Spy (talk) 20:58, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Nej, det har faktisk til været til diskussion for nogle år, hvor en IP-bruger gav sig til at oprette kategorier for en masse tyske lokomotiver. De blev slettet igen, fordi det blev fuldstændig uoverskueligt. Det bliver alt for besværligt at finde de gode billeder, hvis man først skal til at rode 10 eller 20 kategorier igennem. Og så længe et lokomotivs nummer fremgår af filnavnet, beskrivelsen eller begge dele, vil man jo nemt kunne finde det med søgefunktionen. --Dannebrog Spy (talk) 21:23, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Former fishing ships of Denmark

It seems that 'L 68 Janga Bork (ship, 1981)' is stil in use.(source maritime trackers) So why use the 'Former fishing ships of Denmark' category in File:Vissersschuit L68 IJmuiden II.jpg.Smiley.toerist (talk) 12:22, 25 February 2021 (UTC) Sorry - my bad. Bemærk at man med fordel kan anvende "Hotcat", når man tilføjer kategorier til billeder (se under indstillinger->gadgets). Det gør dels arbejdet væsentligt nemmere for dig (fordi du ikke behøver gå ind i kildekoden) og også nemmere for andre at følge med. Bemærk venligst at når du lægger 1-2 billeder i hver kategori, gør du det helt unødvendigt besværligt at danne sig et overblik over hvad der er af billeder i f.eks. Hirtshals. Med så få billeder i hver kategori, vil jeg stærkt anbefale at du i stedet laver en kategori per århundrede eller hvis der er mange nok, per årti. --Hjart (talk) 17:21, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

@Hjart - jeg følger egentlig bare den samme logik, som der følges de fleste steder. I mit hoved giver det meget mere mening og overblik - men ting opfattes jo forskelligt. Bemærk venligst at de fleste af os kun laver nye kategorier af den art når der er tilstrækkelig mange billeder at fylde i dem. I byer hvor der er rigtig mange billeder kan det hjælpe på overblikket at organisere billederne per enkeltår (I de år hvor der vitterligt er mange billeder). I byer hvor vi kun har ganske få billeder hjælper det på ingen måde på overblikket. --Hjart (talk) 17:50, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

@Hjart - hvis jeg gerne ville finde nogle aktuelle billeder fra Hirtshals - synes jeg da ikke det vil være specielt fedt at skulle kigge på et foto fra 2011 af en bygning. Måske bygningen ikke engang er der mere..... Min tankegang er lidt, at de billeder, der virkelig viser noget aktuelt og relevant - uanset dato, skal vises på forsiden. Her vil min prioritet være relevans over overblik. Billeder af et forulykket fly fra 1989, siger i mit hovedet heller ikke så meget om Hirtshals. Men det opfattes jo forskelligt.... Et foto fra 2011 kan sagtens stadig være værdifuldt, specielt hvis det er det eneste vi har af lige den bygning. Og en bygning der er fotograferet i 2011 står højst sandsynligt stadigvæk. Hvis ikke kan det være meningsfuldt at flytte den til "destroyed buildings in X". At placere alle billeder i hver sin kategori, ødelægger fuldstændig mine muligheder for rimeligt hurtigt at danne mig et overblik over hvad vi har af billeder fra Hirtshals. --Hjart (talk) 18:13, 12 July 2021 (UTC)

• Her skriver Elfelt, at det er i Messina, men du skriver det er i Marseilles. Er du sikker?
• Her skriver Elfelt 1903, du skriver dog 1902. Google siger også 1903, men ville spørge dig først. Se også Også af Elfelt.

Billeder af Holger Damgaard og andre der er død i mere end 70 år

Ja, men det er opgave af uploaderen at angive den rigtige licens. :)

Der er i øvrigt et problem med en af dine andre uploads: File:Christiansborg Slot set i fugleperspektiv fra Nikolaj Kirke, d. 4 Februar 1939.jpg er ikke umiddelbart frit, siden fotografen er ukendt og licensen på europeana-websitet er en anden end den du angav. Hvordan kan det ikke være rigtigt i forhold til, hvad jeg angiver?

Omkring Europeana-delingen, er jeg sgu også selv kommet i tvivl.... De skriver på deres hjemmeside, at ved deling, skal man angive præcist det, som jeg skriver under Billedebeskrivelse.

Så egentlig er det ok? Jeg har bare opdaget, at hvis jeg går direkte på kilden og ikke via Europeana - så stemmer licens ikke altid med den Europeana opgaver.

Jeg har lige set, at denne fil er blevet slettet. Hvad er anledningen til, at du mener, at den muligvis ikke er fri?

Ophavsret er besværligt og Commons:Hirtle chart er i alt fald ikke let at forstå. Men jeg mener umiddelbart at der er gode chancer for, at ophavsretten rent faktisk er udløbet.

Er du sikker på IMO nummer for File:Fishing Support Vessel Nordsoen.jpg? Via Wikidata fandt jeg den svenske artikel sv:Nordsøen (2022), hvor der er angivet et andet IMO nummer. Det lyder meget som om det er det samme skib du har fotograferet. Hjart (talk) 20:30, 11 September 2022 (UTC)

Det er stadig usandsynligt at der findes to nybyggede danske fartøjer med samme navn og funktion. Jeg kan ikke umiddelbart slå de numre op (Det kræver registrering og jeg har ikke umiddelbart lyst til at registrere mig flere steder end jeg allerede er). Ptolemy?

Hvorfor har du ikke kaldt File:Ptolemy (ship, 1998) arriving in Bremerhaven.jpg "Autoprogress" og lagt den i Category:Autoprogress (ship, 1998)? Hjart (talk) 21:46, 27 December 2022 (UTC)

Hey, jeg har oprettet separat skib - men det er korrekt at den peger på en IMO nummer, der også indeholder et skib, der hedder Autoprogress. Det hedder firmaet, der ejer skibet...... I dag er der ikke et skib, der hedder sådan. Jeg kan ikke vurdere, om der har været et skib, der har heddet sådan engang. Det er ikke mig, der har oprettet Autoprogress (ship, 1998) Måske de er startet med et skib og har så udvidet flåden og ændret navnet på deres første skib. Jeg ved det ikke... Håber det svar. Mvh. Jeg har kigget på https://www.kulturarv.dk/kid/VisWeilbach.do?kunstnerId=7003&wsektion=vaerker, gættet lidt med hensyn til tilføjelser til Category:Axel Hansen (architect) og muligvis taget fejl i et par tilfælde. Kan du tjekke kategorien? Hjart (talk) 10:04, 29 July 2023 (UTC)

Jeg har selv skrevet artiklen på Wikipedia baseret på en udførlig artikel om Axel Hansen. Jeg er i tvivl om biografbygningen - nuværende Sct. Nicolajgade 16. Jeg vil mene, at det er en tidligere bygning, der husede biograften, efter flytningen fra Overdammen 7 og til Sct. Nicolajgade. Den bygning findes ikke mere... Og derfor ikke den nuværende Sct. Nicolajgade 16....

Mellemdammen 22 synes jeg ikke at finde noget på omkring Axel Hansen....

Har du nogen ide om præcist hvilken gade File:Johan-rohde-gadeparti-fra-ribe,-der-flages-med-dannebrog.jpg forestiller? Bygningen for enden minder om Sønderportsgade 37, men de andre genkender jeg ikke. Hjart (talk) 13:56, 23 November 2023 (UTC)

Ah - jeg vil mene nr. 7 er det hus, der stikker længere ud end de andre, midt i gaden. Der hvor de to personer er. Det er svært at sige. præcist hvor stor den kunstneriske frihed har været.
