Widać masz mierne pojęcie o mojej działalności a głos Twego pokroju jest postrzegany przez niektórych zadufanych w sobie użytkowników commons za dobry omen.

Dla wytłumaczenia Twego odpowiedzialnego głosu wstawiam Tobie zgodę otrzymaną od WKU na wykorzystywanie ich materiałów. Ale nie wiem, czy będziesz na tyle chętny aby przejrzeć do jakich wstawionych zdjęć kilku mądrali się z tego projektu czepia: File:Zgoda Komendanta WKU Gdynia - Wikipedia.jpeg oraz File:BiuroHydrograficzneMarynarkiWojennej - zgoda.JPG. Tak się składa, ze tego typu zgody, trzeba wychodzić i być upierdliwym do bólu. Działania GeorgeHH, Siebranda, którzy nawet nie pofatygowali się aby wysłać maila w języku angielskim do ww. instytucji (są na stronach internetowych) a zarzucają mi łamanie praw autorskich są nikczemne. Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Right. So what should I have done instead? Or could not do anything?... I wasn't too clear about how to re-state the copyrighted template. If you explain to me what to do, I'll do it next time, as I'm seeing many logos on en:Wikipedia with a USA only permission (for a specific Wikipedia article), but which could be otherwise used if properly categorised with the right template etc. Then I might use them some other time, when need arises. on why you are deleting from from the Category:Images from FilmiTadka. I see a lot of deleted files in my watchlist and I am failing to understand the reason.

I am very concerned about your block here, and speedy deletion of images. The user, as best I can see, has had 1 warning for out of scope, and that was over a year ago. Suddenly indefing them, as best I can see for no good reason, is not good practice. I have unblocked them. I don't doubt the user was a bit annoying, but they really did nothing particularly wrong, certainly not indef-worthy. I accept most of the images are hardly brilliant quality, but when they had been on Commons for more than a year, and the subject is within scope, they should have been sent to DR rather then speedied. I request you undelete File:Erigierter Penis mit Ring.jpg and File:Samenerguss.JPG, the others are admittedly pretty awful. -mattbuck (Talk) 14:34, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Out of scope is not really suitable as a speedy reason for images which have been around a long time. Use them on newly uploaded spam sure, or things which are clearly just adverts, but images which are within the educational scope of the project (which includes sexuality), just bad quality etc, should be handled by DR. -mattbuck (Talk) 16:48, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Rotations

The above is an extract from my talk page in response to your comment - in other words it is appreciated that there is work involved in rotating the images, but this does not mean that uers have not rotated them previously only to discover once uploaded to Wikimedia that they need to be rotated again. Of course with so many different graphics software packages on the market, this issue is unlikely to be resolved unless the Rotatebot software can be made freely available to all users, or accessible to all users via Wikimedia. In the meantime, as I now have had images sitting for several days without implementation of the requested rotations, what needs to be done to complete these requests? Dzień dobry. Zgłosiłem właśnie dwa poniższe zagadnienia do admina "Sfu", wiem że nikt nie przebywa tu "non-stop" i dlatego proszę o zwrócenie na poniższe także innych polskojęzycznych adminów. pozdr

Category:Personifications of Poland

W tej kategorii jako 3 i 4 plik znajdują się plakat niemieckich nazistowskich władz okupacyjnych w Polsce i propagandowy plakat niemiecki z okresu plebiscytu na G. Śląsku - żaden z nich nie jest ani personifikacją ani też symbolem Polski tylko propagandystycznym narzędziem twórcy plakatu. Pliki 6,7,8,9 są znaczkami pocztowymi Generalnej Gubernii - wymowa ideologiczna tych znaczków to "Goralenvolk - Germanie" i blonwłosi Polacy to potomkowie "Germanów". Przypisujący te pliki do owej kategorii (jako użytkownik zalogowany wielonickowiec z pacynkami i IP) wielokrotnie sprawił już sporo kłopotów na wiki.pl, wiki.en i wiki.de stosując własne "prawdy" oparte na "źródłach" pseudonaukowych. Zwróciłem mu kilka razy uwagę, niestety spotkałem się z agresją i obrazą. Bardzo proszę o zwrócenie uwagi na przytoczone przeze mnie przykłady.

Dotyczy tego samego użytkownika co wyżej. [1], [2] i [3] dokonał kolejnego revertu wg własnej wizji historii. Obszary te po ataku na ZSRR nigdy nie zostały zaanektowane przez III Rzeszę, zawsze miały status obszarów zajętych (po niemiecku Besetzte Gebiete). Użytkownik nie widzi różnicy pomiędzy "okupacją a aneksją", "Besetzung a Annexion", "Military occupation a Annexation" i świadomie wprowadza sfoją wersję historii opartą na fałszu. Hi, how can I upload a company logo to wikimedia (I would like to add it to this article: http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Direct). We work for Liberty Direct, but actually they don't know who is the original author of this logo. Can I just put "Liberty Direct" as author?

bardzo dziękuję za rzetelną informację, po przeczytaniu wskazanych przez Pana artykułów wiemy już jak działać z wpisem, natomiast co do logo musimy to rzeczywiście rozważyć, przepraszam za zamieszanie, ale rozpoznanie tych wszystkich zawiłości prawnych i wymagań edycji haseł wbrew pozorom wymaga trochę czasu.

Wrzucił je ponownie, ale zostały usunięte. Okazuje się jednak, że User:I.Blu legitymuje się zgodą od Solarisa na publikację zdjęć. Nie wiem teraz co z tym zrobić, więc wysyłam do admina Commons. Copyright issue for screenshots from US films released before 1964

Hello again. While transferring some of the film poster files from en.wikipedia , I did discover some screenshots on commons from films before 1964 that I think are incorrectly tagged, and may need to be deleted. See Category:Written on the Wind (film) for examples. The tag on the individual images claims that the artist failed to provide a copyright notice. Before 1964, an artist needed to show a copyright notice to preserve copyright. It is true that each individual frame of a film does not have a copyright notice. However, essentially all the US films from this era had copyright notices, have had their copyrights renewed, and are thus not in the public domain yet. I think that screenshots are probably covered by these copyrights. This is a messy issue, and potentially a lot of work if mis-tagging is common. Problem z Logotypami

Przepraszam, że niepokoję jeszcze raz w podobnym temacie, ale jest dla mnie niezrozumiałą sytuacją jedna rzecz i byłbym ogromnie wdzięczny za wyjaśnienie. Chcę do zaakceptowanego i przejrzanego wpisu na wikipedii dodać grafikę przedstawiającą logo, lub flagowy produkt danej marki (nie chodzi o reklamę, a po prostu uatrakcyjnienie wpisu). Jestem autorem grafiki, którą staram się dodać do wikimedia, mam zgodę firmy na wykorzystanie grafik (bo specjalnie dla nich została stworzona), prawo do działania w jej imieniu i mogę pozyskać nawet pisemną zgodę jeśli zajdzie taka potrzeba. W tej sytuacji - w jaki sposób dodać logo marki, lub zdjęcie flagowego produktu, aby nie zostało odrzucone? Sądząc po wielu zdjęciach znajdujących się w wikimedii/pedii tego typu zakładam, że samo występowanie logo na zdjęciu nie powinno być podstawą do zarzucania braku posiadania praw autorskich, ale może się mylę?

Problem z Logotypami - kontynuacja

Dzięki za długą i merytoryczną odpowiedź. Teraz w takim razie nie do końca rozumiem. Użytkownik INeverCry usunął wszystkie wrzucone przeze mnie zdjęcia mimo iż to nie były logotypy - to były zdjęcia/grafiki przygotowywane przez nas, na zlecenie obsługiwanej marki do wykorzystania których jestem uprawniony. Na jakiej więc zasadzie dane zdjęcie jest usuwane, a ja jestem oskarżany o łamanie praw autorskich - rozumiem, że ma to związek z tym, że grafika pojawiła się również poza zasobami wiki? Piszesz: Problem tylko, jesli ta grafika była już gdzies opublikowana, dajmy na to w materiałach na WWW firmy, wtedy konieczne jest pozwolenie. - w jaki sposób mam dostarczyć pozwolenie na wykorzystanie materiałów? Rozumiem, że należy wtedy skorzystać z OTRS i podanego przez Ciebie szablonu, ale generalnie sprawa tyczy się wielu brandów, które należą do jednej globalnej korporacji - na stronie nie ma danych kontaktowych, bo jest to strona wizerunkowa, wszystkie maile pracowników są korporacyjne, czyli nie np adam.kowalski@brand.pl tylko adam.kowalski@korpo.pl (brand należy do korpo) - czy mail z takiej skrzynki wystarczy? Oczywiście nie chodzi o udostępnianie na wolnej licencji logo producenta, ale co najwyżej najbardziej rozpoznawalnego produktu (np butelka) - nie mamy wtedy żadnych przeciwwskazań, żeby ktoś sobie drukował to nawet na koszulkach. W formatce emaila do OTRS trzeba również podać link do pliku w wikimedia, skoro wszystkie pliki zostały usunięte, to do czego powinienem odnosić w celu weryfikacji praw autorskich? Wrzuciłbym je jeszcze raz, ale pewnie by się to skończyło tym razem banem, więc proszę o pomoc.

Witam,

Proszę o wyjaśnienie masowego usunięcia przesłanych i opisanych plików mojego autorstwa. Pliki są zrzutami ekranu z aplikacji której Gistraxx B.V. jest bezpośrednim twórcą. Proszę o przywrócenie plików, których opisanie kosztowało jednak dużo cennego czasu.

Cześć. Mam prośbę o przyjrzenie się procedurze OTRS przesłanego przeze mnie pliku File:Georychus_capensis.jpg. Autorem zdjęcia kretoszczura jest profesor zoologii z Uniwersytetu Kapsztadzkiego. Prof. Bennett przesłał do mnie zdjęcie i wyraził w nim zgodę na CC-BY-SA. Zgoda została uznana przez członka OTRS za niewystarczającą. Otóż prof Bennett na moje zapytanie czy wyraża zgodę na włączenie przesłanego zdjęcia do repozytorium wikicommons na licencji CC-BY-SA, odpisał że tak, "wyraża zgodę na na używanie zdjęcia w wiki". Poprosiłem więc autora ponownie, by w zwięzłym zdaniu określił precyzyjniej, że wyraża zgodę na włączenie tego konkretnego zdjęcia zdjęcia do wikicommons na licencji Crative Commons CC-BY-SA. Maila takiego otrzymałem ponad tydzień temu i odbiłem do permission. Brak jednak reakcji. Czy możesz sprawdzić , czy ta zgoda jest uznana za wystarczającą? Oczywiście zdaję sobie sprawę z faktu, że zgody muszą być jasne i czytelne. W tego typu sytuacjach ma miejsce pewna niezręczność, gdy naukowiec jest po kilka razy proszony o potwierdzanie tego samego faktu. Niezręcznie mi takie osoby zmuszać po kikakroć do odpisana w konkretny sposób, podczas, gdy oni odzisują zwięźle.... "zgadzam się".

Oprócz tej sprawy, a może raczej w związku z tym plikiem, przyszła mi do głowy myśl, że tego typu sprawy są stałym problemem OTRS. Może więc dobrze byłoby zmontować w commons szablon, który byłby automatycznie wysyłany pod adres mailowy autora i zawierałby pełne wyjaśnienie licencji i dedykowany link który miałby kliknąć by autoryzować zgodę. Wówczas mielibyśmy załatwioną sprawę precyzji i wiarygodności. No i pozbylibyśmy się niezręczości nękania po kilkakroć autorów. Jacek555 (talk) 14:45, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Dziękuję. Muszę Ci powiedzieć, że z punktu widzenia osoby której zadowloenie życiowe rośnie po sprokurowaniu jakiegoś kompletnego artykułu na wiki z włączeniem grafiki, którą wcześniej musi wydębić od autorów, OTRS-team jawi się jako biurokratyczny twór, który ma za zadanie to zadowolenie skasować. Część zespołu czepia się spraw formy potwierdzenia, tak jak to zresztą było w przypadku mojego kretoszczura. Z Twoich wyjaśnień wynika, że są to dość indywidualne sprawy i podejście poszczególnych OTRSów może być skrajnie różne. Kilkukrotnie napotykałem na takie utrudnienia, więc zakładałem że są one jakimś uzgodnionym kanonem. Stąd pomysł autoamtu.

Nie chodziło mi o wysyłanie potwierdzeń pod adresem importującym pliki i przysyłającym zgłoszenia na permission, ale - przy założeniu, że twarde upieranie się by autor zdjęcia jasno wykrztusił formułkę "CC-BY-SA...." - można by wysyłać do niego mailem (na adres z którego przysłał wcześniej "niejasną" zgodę) link dedykowany, po kliknięciu którego potwierdzałby przygotowaną precyzyjną formułkę. Ale skoro ortodoksyjność lub zdroworozsądkowe podejście zależy od poszczególnych OTRSów, to pewnie nie ma takiej potrzeby. Chciałbym zapytać co muszę zrobić, jakie zgody uzyskać, żeby móc zamieścić zdjęcie autora niezwiązanego z Wikipedią. Chodzi o zdjęcie EL2. Autor w mailu do mnie wyraził zgodę na użycie jej w Wikipedii z zastrzeżeniem podania źródła i autora czyli coś jakby CC-BY-SA. Co muszę zrobić, żeby licencji zadość uczynić? Napisałem jeszcze raz do autora, by zgodził się na CC-BY-SA. Wcześniej nie pytałem dokładnie o CC-BY-SA, a i on nie wpisał, że na tej licencji chce udostępnić. Napisał jedynie, by podać źródło pliku i autora. Mimo wszystko poczekam na potwierdzenie CC-BY-SA. Spoko jak zabytkowe, stare, wyjątkowe ale jak "dom jak każdy inny" to ile ma być tych ilustracji domów na commons? Poza tym to czyjaś prywatna posesja a w opisie pisze że to ulica? Albo to wiosna na Giszowcu a ja widzę rower i parę krzaczorów + bloki. Czy to coś sensownego wnosi? Albo to Dworzec w Ustce a ja widzę przystanek i kilka autobusów nie wiadomo gdzie? Dziękuję że mu tam skrobnąłeś wyjaśnienie, żeby moich działań nie brał za szkodliwe. Ten Pan powstawiał masę fajnych fotek, ale jest jednak kilka których lepiej się pozbyć. Mniejsza o blokadę, ale powiedz co zrobić z tymi fotami domów z opisem ulica ta a ta. Przepraszam za słowa, ale do cholery co mnie obchodzi pojedyńcza chałupa w mieście iks na ulicy iks. Nie każda ulica ma hasło na wiki. A ta co by miała przecież nie będę ją ilustrował wizerunkiem prywatnego domu kogoś kto być nie życzyłby sobie tego. Correct, I closed it as keep because there was no consensus to delete the file. As you hopefully have learned from being de-admined, it is the duty of the closing admin to read the consensus of a DR (where there are no glaring copyright issues) without introducing his or her own opinion into the mix. Unless you've changed your mind about File:Puls 3.png, it's pretty obvious from Commons:Deletion requests/File:Puls 3.png that you have arbitrarily, and egregiously assigned pd-shape status to said file. That said, please don't put words in my mouth, and assume that my closure of Commons:Deletion requests/File:Puls 3.png is an accurate representation of my opinion on this matter. Wojtku, mam prośbę o weryfikację u autora (lee Thompson?) jego zdjęcia file:Holy Sepulchre-stone.JPG opisanego jako "Holy Sepulchre". Tę samą sugestię zawiera nazwa pliku. Obie nazwy sugerują, że jest to rzekomo "Grób święty", czyli jak można rozumieć - tzw kokh (czyli skalna półka grobowa) z wnętrza grobowca w bazylice Grobu Świętego w Jerozolimie. Otóż miejsce pochówku Jezusa jest przykryte marmurową płytą, która nie była zdejmowana co najmniej do 1810 roku i nikt nie mógł zrobić zdjęcia wnętrza pod płytą w 2012 roku. Przygotowują w tej chwili dość solidną przebudowę artykułu na temat bazyliki Grobu Świętego i wiem, że takie zdjęcie jest niemożliwe do uzyskania. Być może jest tylko przykładowy grób typu kokh z takiego okresu, albo grobowiec w kaplicy Syryjczyków tej bazyliki (który jest przypisywany biblijnemu Józefowi z Arymatei). Na pewno nie jest to "Holy Sepulchre". Prosiłem o wyjaśnienie usera (i admina) Matanya, który wstawił zdjęcie rok temu: [4], ale jak widzisz nie jest w stanie odpowiedzieć. Cześć, w marcu 2012 zostało usunięte zdjęcie (pomagałeś mi w sprawach licencyjnych). Szczerze mówiąc nie wiem dlaczego, ponieważ wówczas wszystko zostało poprawione zgodnie z twoimi sugestiami (a przynajmniej tak to pamietam). Chcę ponownie dodać to samo zdjęcie, ale cały czas mam komunikat, że takie zdjęcie zostało "moved or deleted". Próba załadowania zdjęcia pod inną nazwą też kończy się niepowodzenie. This was a sort of a joke among many Polish Wikipedians at the time - many of us had our photos altered for a humorous "Wikipedians' self-potrait" page. I did not mind at the time, although now the wiki-mood and permissibility of certain things in terms of personal image are somewhat different. So, I am OK with having the image removed. Problem with your custom signature

Your account has an invalid custom signature set in the account preferences.

A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software. You can see your custom signature settings at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-personal-signature. You can check your signature at https://signatures.toolforge.org

There are multiple possible errors. This message is being sent to people who have the "Mismatch between link and username" error.

The problem: Your signature links to a different user account. This often happens when you set a custom signature and then change your username.

The solutions: There are two ways to fix this problem. You can reset your signature to the default, or you can modify your signature.

Modify your custom signature:

1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences. (You need to do this step on the wiki where the error is, which is probably the one where you're reading this message.)
2. Look in the Signature: text box for your custom signature code. This contains the name of an account, but it's not your account. It's probably the name of another account that you used.
3. Change the wrong account name to your current account name.
   • If you have more than one account, and you are trying to link to the other account, then change at least one of the links to your current account name. For example, change [[User:Username|Username]] ([[User talk:Username|talk]]) to:
     • [[User:Username2|Username2]] ([[User talk:Username|talk]]) (one link to the current account's userpage, and one link to your other account's talk page), or to

Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started

Dear uploader of European Science Photo Competition 2015, Wiki Science Competition 2017 and Wiki Science Competition 2019, we would like to remind you that Wiki Science Competition 2021 has started in the whole world. It is now completed in Russia (active in May), but it's still open in almost all the other countries.

If you want to take part in WSC2021, please consult this page. Only some national categories are associated to competitions with local prizes.

If you are an expert user, we remind you that images uploaded within the deadline can be included in any case in their national category even if not uploaded with the main interface.

Please keep in mind that there is a new category this year, that is "astronomy".

If you had already uploaded a file this year, please consider improving the description in English of your files (click on the edit button), since such description is what the international jury will use to evaluate them. World finalists will be finalized after March 2022.

• December 15: Results announced

Flickypedia soft launch and a huge thank you

Dear fellow Commons photographer,

I hope this message finds you well. As you might already know, the Flickr Foundation has been busy creating a new Flickr-to-Commons bridge (“Flickypedia”) this year. After a successful demo at the GLAM Wiki Conference in Montevideo, the Flickr Foundation team is now inviting all members of the Commons Photographers User Group to be the first to review their alpha, reporting any technical issues or other feedback via the Flickypedia project talk page.

At the same time, this message is an opportunity for me to thank you for your trust and support over the past couple of years. Since 2017, we've grown into being one of the largest user groups in the Wikimedia universe. I've tremendously enjoyed interacting with all of our members when it came to joint photowalks at Wikimanias, virtual Zoom meetings where we covered a wide variety of photography topics, as well as our annual “Most memorable shot of the year”, among many other events. As I'm not running for an official position in our current board election, this will be my last message on behalf of the user group to you. Thanks for all the happy moments we shared together over the years! I hope you'll continue creating free images for the millions of people we serve through Wikipedia and Commons.
