File:Galvion PDXT.png has been marked as a possible copyright violation. Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content—that is, images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose. Traditional copyright law does not grant these freedoms, and unless noted otherwise, everything you find on the web is copyrighted and not permitted here. For details on what is acceptable, please read Commons:Licensing. You may also find Commons:Copyright rules useful, or you can ask questions about Commons policies at the Commons:Help desk. If you are the copyright holder and the creator of the file, please read Commons:But it's my own work! for tips on how to provide evidence of that.

The file you added has been deleted. If you have written permission from the copyright holder, please have them send us a free license release via COM:VRT. If you believe that the deletion was not in accordance with policy, you may request undeletion. (It is not necessary to request undeletion if using VRT; the file will be automatically restored at the conclusion of the process.)

Warning: Wikimedia Commons takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Galvion themselves allows the distribution of the media to personal Facebook accounts, Twitter and Email at the bottom of the page NobuttoO (talk) 12:46, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can't see that, do you just mean that the page at galvion.com has Facebook/Twitter/email share links at the bottom? That's not Galvion formally releasing the image under a CC licence. Belbury (talk) 12:51, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This media was probably deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:Galvion PDXT Operational.png. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Galvion PDXT Operational.png]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Originates from the STP9000 data chart which has been released to the public NobuttoO (talk) 13:10, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your uploads[edit]

Most of your uploads you've claimed as being your own work. You need to fix that to say where you actually took the images from.

But the fact that an organisation has released an image "to the public" by including it in a manual or on a website is not the same as them releasing it into the "public domain". These images are copyrighted to the organisation and can't be hosted on Commons without the organisation's permission.

The photos from a Danish military manual may fall under {{PD-DenmarkGov}}, but I'm not completely sure. Belbury (talk) 13:38, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that part however im unsure on how to "fix" an already uploaded picture i sat down looking around but could not find a way NobuttoO (talk) 15:24, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It seems the pictures automatically got taken down so
1. Found some new ones from the MoD so they are not under copyright for Galvion and the Radios as you said public manual does not equal fair use
2. Reuploaded some with correct permissions NobuttoO (talk) 18:07, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notification about possible deletion[edit]

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Danish copyright law says:
§ 2. Stk 3 says 1. if the picture is put up for sale it falls in to public domain 2. If it is displayed to the public it falls into public domain 3
§ 3 States that in these cases you are required to name the creator and that you are not allowed to modify them

This media may be deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:RF-7800S SPR.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

You need to say what licence these images are being uploaded to Commons under. Do you believe them to be public domain? If so, where does https://krigeren.dk say that?
That krigeren.dk says Any use of the site, including downloading, appropriation and utilization of information made available on Krigeren, is at the user's own risk and responsibility does not by itself mean they have released the photo as public domain. Pay attention to copyright
File:Telehjelm Forsvaret.png has been marked as a possible copyright violation.

  •  Oppose - User's claim is patent nonsense and so wrong as to be obvious to even novice users. As already explained, "Public" in your quotation refers to publication (making public), not to public domain. Further, the blatant lies about authorship (e.g., , File:CBRN-dragt.jpg is here) are unaddressed. Эlcobbola talk 18:46, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    No it dosent......
"CBRN-dragt.jpg" Is from my original uploads where i did not know how the process worked on wikipeia and as explained to Belbury I do not know how to remove pictures
As for the "new" upload of "Galvion PDXT M20 Training variant Danish Army.jpg" and "Galvion PDXT.jpg" are my own yes correct they a cropped because they come from a larger picture from my time trainning danish recruits in 2022 and it is not my right to post their faces if you have a dicord or other private app i can show you the original NobuttoO (talk) 18:54, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello NobuttoO, the following content you uploaded violates one or more of our policies and therefore has been or will soon be deleted:

File:RF-7800S SPR.jpg

The Wikimedia Commons (this website) only hosts media files with a realistic educational purpose and that can be used for any purpose, including:
  • use in any work, regardless of content
  • creation of derivative works
  • commercial use
  • free distribution

See Commons:Licensing for the copyright policy on Wikimedia Commons, and Commons:Image casebook for some specific examples. Some other Wikimedia projects have different licensing policies. For example, the English Wikipedia allows fair use of sounds and photographs. This is not the case on Wikimedia Commons; "fair use" materials are not acceptable here.

Please make sure that you only upload educational content you have created yourself, those which are out of copyright, or those for which you have the required permission for the work to be used in all the ways described above. Please note that derivative works of copyrighted material are also considered copyrighted. Again, please read through Commons:Licensing, which is quite crucial, to understanding how Wikimedia Commons works. Thanks for your contribution, and please do leave me a message if you have further questions.

And also:

"Public" in your quotation refers to publication (making public), not to public domain. Please also review COM:L and concepts such as gratis versus libre. Эlcobbola talk 18:42, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No it dosent you can go read it even provided a link to the page NobuttoO (talk) 18:44, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Tilgængeligt for almenheden" ≠ offentligt domæne. Эlcobbola talk 18:58, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT MEANS THOUGH, it "Tilgængeligt for almenheden" translates to "Available to the general public" NobuttoO (talk) 19:02, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This media may be deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:Elcan Reticle 762 CX5396.png.

Thank you.
