Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Image problems

On many of your recent Flickr uploads you have changed the licence tag for that on Flickr to a different one; mostly you have put cc-by-sa-4.0 when the original licence is cc-by-sa-20. Because you simply cropped the images so you have no rights to chnage the licence under which the image is released, when uploaded here. You must retain the same licence as the original. I've fixed as many as I see but you may want to review the rest of your uploads. Please be more careful in future. Thanks Ww2censor (talk) 17:36, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

I'm terribly sorry, I just mistakenly assumed that cc-by-sa-4.0 just was the current version and was to be used irrespective of which cc-by-sa the image was released under. I'll go through the uploads. It won't happen again. Silltruten (talk) 18:38, 1 March 2017 (UTC)

Per Holmen's photos

Please note that Per Holmen's photos are not available under CC-by-SA as I thought. All his photos are going to be deleted. This is due to a miscommunication between him and me. I'm not sure what communications you had with him. JMK (talk) 20:50, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for infoǃ I've been in contact with him. On a direct question whether it was ok to make them available under CC or CC-by-SA, Per said that as long as he was credited and there was a link to his website, it was ok. JMK, just been in touch with Per, and as with me there was a misunderstanding concerning his images. He does not want to release them under CC-by-SA. Will you delete the one's I've uploaded as well? I do not have the authority. Thanks in advanceǃ Silltruten (talk) 23:48, 22 May 2017 (UTC)

Flickr2Commons

I have just come across a few images you have recently uploaded from Flickr. I would appreciate it if in the future, you used the Flickr2Commons tool. This tool allows images to be moved to Commons from Flickr without having to download the images to your own computer. It also brings in the largest resolution of the image, as well making sure to list the correct license and url, making it easy for the automated Flickr Review system. Flickr2Commons

I have just come across a few images you have recently uploaded from Flickr. I would appreciate it if in the future, you used the Flickr2Commons tool. I'm sorry, the authorization doesn't work, I get this error message: "Error retrieving token: mwoauthdatastore-request-token-not-found". Some of the images have to be cropped in order to be correctly displayed in the Wikipedia App, that's why I want to download them first. Is there anything wrong with the resolution, links or the categorization? AFAIK I've done it correctly.Silltruten (talk) 15:39, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
