دليل الخطوات الأولى هنا إن ملف الخطوات الأولى هنا و ملف الأسئلة المكررة سوف تساعدك مثيرا بعد خطة تسجيلك. إنها ستتشرح لك كيفية تعديل الواجهة الخاصة بكومنز بما يتناسب مع إحتياجاتك (كتغير لغة الواجهة مثلا), و كيفية تحميل الملفات و سياسة رخص الصور الخاصة بنا. أنت منستعمل لست بحاجة الى مهارات تقنية للمساهمة في كومنز. كن جريئا ساهم معنا و و إعمل بحسن نية من طرفك و إفترضها لدى غيرك. نحن همت نساهم معا في نظام ويكي - و هو أمر بسيط حقا. الوصول الى المساعدة الكثير من المعلومات متوفرة في صفحة بوابة المستخدمين. و بإمكانك طرح الأسئلة في مكتب الإستقبال و المساعدة, الميدان أو ضمن صفحات التشات ضمن قناة #wikimedia-commons. بإمكانك أيضا الإتصال بأحد مدراء النظام و ذلك في صفحات نقاشهم. إذا كان لديك سؤال معين عن حقوق الطبع, إطرحه في صفحة نقاش التراخيص.		نصائح و خطوات سهلية مريحة ضع صناديق بابل في صفحتك الشخصية ليتعرف الأخرون على لغتك و يتواصلوا معك. إن جميع الصور التي حملتها مخزنة بإسمك ضمن معرضك الخاص رجاء أن توقع بإسمك في صفحات النقاش و ذلك بطباعة ~~~~ إستعمل نظام البحث المنطقي لتجد تصنيفا مناسبا لصورك اللتي حملتها ( و هكذا سيجدها الأخرون!) لعمل وصلة الى صفحة صورة أكتب التالي:`[[:Image:Foo.jpg]]`, و سيظهر لك : `Image:Foo.jpg` إذا كنت تنسخ ملفات من مشاريع شقيقة, تأكد من إستعمال مساعد كومنز هل إرتكبت خطأ ما؟ هل تريد إعادة تسمية ملف? بسيطة: حمل الملف مرة ثانية بالإسم الجديد و بعد ذلك أكتب `{{إسم خطأ\|أطبع الإسم الصحيح هنا}}` ضمن صفحة الصورة القديمة للمزيد من المعلومات إقرأ دليل الحذف الكامل

WLM Algérie[edit]

Bonjour :) Je suis ravie et honorée de rejoindre l'équipe de WLM Algérie. Pour l'organisation du jury, on peut reprendre ce que nous avions fait pour WLM France et WLM Kénya l'année dernière : chaque membre du jury choisit dix photos, et nous échangeons par mail pour se mettre d'accord, afin d'éviter au maximum qu'il y ait deux fois le même photographe ou le même bâtiment dans la sélection et aussi pour présenter une sélection qui reprenne la diversité des bâtiments du pays. Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Dear Dezedien,

The 2013 Picture of the Year competition has ended and we are pleased to announce the results: We shattered participation records this year — more people voted in Picture of the Year 2013 than ever before. In both rounds, 4070 different people voted for their favorite images. Additionally, there were more image candidates (featured pictures) in the contest than ever before (962 images total).

In the first round, 2852 people voted for all 962 files
In the second round, 2919 people voted for the 50 finalists (the top 30 overall and top 2 in each category)

We congratulate the winners of the contest and thank them for creating these beautiful images and sharing them as freely licensed content:

157 people voted for the winner, an image of a lightbulb with the tungsten filament smoking and burning.
In second place, 155 people voted for an image of "Sviati Hory" (Holy Mountains) National Park in Donetsk Oblast, Ukraine.
In third place, 131 people voted for an image of a swallow flying and drinking.

Hello, may I ask you for some help? The Template:Created with/ar (working together with the Template:Created with .../ar) needs a professional translation. Examples how to do are the English version Created with .../en which is very simple, may be your language needs a more complicated layout like e.g. Created with .../it or Created with .../es.

The templates need to display differnt text, as in English "This [raster/vector] image has been created with ..." with optional expansions "This {oversized] [W3C-invalid/W3-uncheckable/W3C-unspecified] vector graphic has been created with ...". When you give me the different texts, I can compose the display and then you can ckeck it whether it is fine. Unfortunately I do not understand any ar, I cannot even read the letters. This February, you have another opportunity to create beautiful photographs on the theme of "play" that could change how the world understands people and culture in your part of Africa.

Wiki Loves Africa is a annual public contest where people across Africa can contribute media (photographs, video and audio) about their environment to Wikimedia Commons for use on Wikipedia and other project websites of the Wikimedia Foundation.

When does it take place?
The 2019 competition will start on 1st February 2019 and close on 1st March 2019.

What should we contribute?
Pictures ! audios ! videos ! The theme for the 2019 contest is... Play.
This theme encompasses a host of approaches and is intentionally open to interpretation. Wiki Loves Earth (WLE) est un concours annuel de photographie international qui se tient tout au long des mois de mai et de juin, organisé dans le monde entier par les chapitres Wikimedia, des groupes et des bénévoles locaux de Wikipédia. Les participants prennent des photos du patrimoine naturel local et de paysages dans leurs pays, puis les téléversent sur Wikimedia Commons. Il existe dans chaque pays participant une compétition distincte, organisée par une équipe locale, pouvant avoir des calendriers, des règlements, des prix, etc. légèrement différents.

We are writing because you have participated in the Wiki Loves Africa (WLA) photo competition in the past. Results have been published and winning pictures may be seen here !

This year WLA partnered with the research organization CAT Lab (previously CivilServant) to help us evaluate the effectiveness of one of our recruitment efforts. You may or may not have received a message on your user talk page encouraging you to participate again in this year's competition.

We are excited to share with you their study found our recruitment message was a success and may have resulted in as many as 2,000 additional contributed photos. We hope you agree this is great news for Africa and its representation across Wikimedia. You can read more about the study and the results in this blog post.
