Hallo Steinsplitter, bitte erklär mir den Sinn oder Kontext Deines o.e. Hinweises, den ich beim besten Willen nicht verstehe ??

So aus dem Gedächnis heraus, dürften wir beide mW bislang keine gemeinsamen Berührungspunkte innerhalb von Wikimedia gehabt haben, kann mich aber täuschen ....

Mir ist zudem keine Wikimedia 'Vorschrift'/'Richtlinie' betreffend 'Archivierung betreffs Benutzer-Seiten' bekannt, da mE ja die 'Version history' >jeden< Edit de facto auf den Servern von Wikimedia 'archiviert'. Mit meiner Signatur ist übrigens alles i.O. Dankeschön und Gruss, Roland 19:42, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

nein, die mE eigentlich klar gestellte Frage hast Du wirklich nicht beantwortet: Die Frage ist nach dem 'Warum', nicht ob wir uns schon 'begegnet' sein könnten ...
Zudem, gerade aufgrund Deines Hinweises auf 'Archivierung' von Dir als offensichltich Administrator, warum nimmst Du gleich zwei Reverts vor, einen auf Deiner Diskussionseite - wir haben offensichlich 'gleichzeitig' editiert - und zwei Minuten danach hier ?
Offen gesagt, bin ich enttäuscht über Dein Verhalten notabene als Administratur und verstehe Deinen 'Hinweis' weiterhin hin nicht ... 'Augenzwinkern' hin oder her, danke ich immer noch für Beantwortung meiner Frage ...
Eine weitere Fragegleich dazu: Wie kann ich meine Benutzerseite 'sperren' auch aufgrund wiederholter solcher 'kryptischer' Mitteilungen sperren lassen?

Zu dieser Frage genügt dann tatsächlich nur ein Wikilink, dankeschön ;-)

@Roland, ich habe deinem Wunsch nach reiflicher Abwägung nun entsprochen, ihn aber, da eine solche Sperrung auf einem Gemeinschaftsprojekt — außer bei massivem Vandalismus o.ä. — äusserst ungewöhnlich ist, meinen Kollegen auf COM:AN mitgeteilt. Nach der Seitensperre habe ich deine busy-Dublette durch einen protected-Baustein ersetzt, der diejenigen, die hier anlanden um mit dir zu kommunizieren, über die Seitensperre informiert. Wenn du einen anderen Sperrgrund als den von mir angegebenen bevorzugst, dann gib mir Bescheid.
Da mir die Vorgeschichte der obigen "Kommunikation" nicht geläufig ist, nur 2 allgemeine Anmerkungen: 1) Admins kümmern sich u.a. um die Einhaltung der Projektspielregeln, unabhängig davon, ob sie selbst mit den jeweils Betreffenden "Berührungspunkte" hatten. 2) "Mit meiner Signatur ist übrigens alles i.O." — nicht wirklich. Die standardmäßige Verlinkung von Benutzer- und Benutzerdiskussionsseite in der Benutzersignatur, die du irgendwie abgeschaltet hast, dient der leichteren Kommunikation mit dem jeweiligen Benutzer. Hinzu kommt bei dir, dass deine aktuelle Signatur nicht deinem Benutzernamen/konto entspricht und deshalb deine Edits auf jeglichen Diskussions/Kommunikationsseiten mit einem anderen Konto, z.B. User:Roland, verwechselt werden können. Letzteres ist keineswegs "in Ordnung", selbst wenn es bei dir, mangels Edits auf solche Seiten, nicht groß ins Gewicht fällt. --Túrelio (talk) 08:15, 12 June 2013 (UTC)

Please don't tag redirects of recently moved images for speedy deletion - we won't delete them. There's no need for deletion and possible reusers may then point to a non-existing image. Hallo Roland, ich weiß nicht ob du die oben verlinkte Diskussion auf VP schon gelesen hast. Du solltest es auf jeden Fall tun und möglichst auch dazu Stellung nehmen; ggf. auf Deutsch, kann dann jemand übersetzen. Auch mir ist schon oft aufgefallen, dass du "imho authorship not clear [see metadata] and not in use" häufig als Standardbegründung zur copyvio-Markierung benutzt. Ich rätsele dann auch immer, was du eigentlich meinst, denn meist hat die Datei dann keine oder unauffällige Metadaten. (Fehlende Metadaten können zwar ein Hinweis auf copyvio sein, müssen aber nicht, weil manche Hochlader ihre Bilder bewusst ohne Metadaten hochladen.) Das "not in use" ist zudem völlig irrelevant für den copyvio-Aspekt. Ich bzw. auch jeder andere die Datei bearbeitende Admin muss dann selbst noch ermitteln, ob wirklich eine copyvio vorliegt (oder höchstwahrscheinlich ist), was zusätzliche Arbeit bedeutet.

Du solltest daher in Zukunft Dateien, bei denen nur ein vager Verdacht auf mögliche Copyvio besteht, zur regulären Löschung vorschlagen (einfach mittels Toolbox-Link "Löschung vorschlagen"). Wenn es sich um viele oder alle Dateien von einem einzelnden Benutzer handelt, kannst du auch eine Commons:Deletion requests/Mass deletion request stellen, Help:VisualFileChange.js benutzen oder den Fall auf COM:AN vortragen, damit er diskutiert bzw. ggf. weitere Evidenz beigetragen werden kann. Einen Schnelllöschantrag solltest du nur stellen, wenn du einen konkreten Hinweis auf eine wahrscheinliche Urheberrechtsverletzung vorlegen kannst (üblicherweise ein Link auf eine vor dem Upload bestehende externe Nutzung). Hallo Túrelio, dankeschön für Deine Hinweise: Hab' mitgelesen, kann aber keinen konstruktiven Beitrag dazu leisten, da ich mich an DIE genannte Datei bei üblicherweise einigen Hundert Edits pro Tag beim besten Willen nicht erinnern kann.

Mit dem fraglichen Uploader habe ich indirekt hingegen Kontakt gehabt und für eine ähnlich geartete Datei (Taj Mahal) ich glaube gestern einen Löschantrag gestellt.

Die Anträge nehme ich nicht voreilig vor, konzentriere mich dabei gerade nur auf die aktuell kategorisierten Medien in den "India"-related Hauptkategorien, d.h. üblicherweise neue Uploads oder Kategorisierunen durch Dritte, seltener bei Umkategorisierunen wie aktuell "Temples' in Karnataka und Andhra-Pradesh. Bislang scheinen deutlich über 90% 'meiner' Meldungen zu vermeintlichen Copyright-Verletzungen meist umgehend gelöscht worden, der überwiegende Rest meist rasch, sodass mein 'Spürsinn' so schlecht auch wieder nicht sein dürfte ;-)

Zudem gehe ich davon aus, dass vor Löschung die/der damit betraute AdministratorIn einen Plausibilitäts-Check vornimmt, d.h. 'unbegründete' Meldungen wieder zurückgesetzt worden sind.

Um aber inskünftig mögliche 'Konflikte' auf ein absolutes Minimum zu beschränken, überlasse ich gerne mit 'sofortiger Wirkung' auch meinem 'Frustrations-Index' zuliebe gerne wieder anderen WikimedianerInnen diese verantwortungsvolle Tätigkeit :-)
Vor einigen Minuten für diesbezüglich Engagierte zu prüfunden Uploads sind mir u.a. hier und hier aufgefallen.

Betreffs 'Löschanträge' hast Du ja selbst miterlebt, was drei Löschanträge von flickr-Uploads zu Kleinkindern aus Indien 'eingebracht' haben, sodass ich Dich bei dieser Gelegenheit freundlich bitte, soweit möglich den 'Status Quo' von Juni 2013 wieder einzurichten :-)

Switzerland in art

Hallo Roland. Herzlichen Dank für die organisierung und die ordnung die du in der Kategorie "Switzerland in art" geschaffen hast. Nur eins: wenn du eine neue Kategorie machst über die Künstlerischen Darstellungen einer Ortschaft, dann vergiss bitte nicht sie auch in die betreffende Ortschaft zu kategorisieren [1]. Sonst fehlt sie dann genau dort wo sie am ehesten sein muss und zu suchen und finden sollte. Die richtigen Kategorien zu erteilen kann im ersten Moment etwas kompliziert scheinen, ist es aber nicht. Wenn du den Titel in zwei trennst, dann werden sie dir schon vorgesagt. Z.B. "Locarno in art" sagt dir schon dass es in der Kategorie "Locarno" vorkommen muss, und dann auch in der Kategorie "Art". Diese letzte musst du selber identifizieren, es kann "Ticino in art" sein oder, falls diese fehlt, dann eben die obere Kategorie, also "Switzerland in art". Normalerweise eine Kategorie die nur in einer eizigen Kategorie kategorisiert ist, ist immer etwas verdächtig... Herzlichen Dank für deine Arbeit! Hallo DenghiùComm, dankeschön für Deine Rückmeldung. Die kurze Organisierung von "Switzerland in art" und dem unmittelbar vorausgegangen etwas aufwändiger "Historical images of Switzerland" konnte ich nicht zum Abschluss bringen, da ich vorgängig einige 'dringende Pendenzen' abarbeiten musste und aufgrund aktueller Entwicklungen wohl bis auf weiteres nicht mehr dazu kommen werde.

Die Kategorisierung wie von Dir geschildert ist mir natürlich bewusst, und wie Dir aufgefallen sein dürfte, fehlen zudem noch einige 'wichtige' Städte, d.h. es war nur ein allererster Anfang (habe es jeweils als 'just startup' kommentiert), und über das weitere Vorgehen war ich mir zudem noch unschlüssig.

Vielleicht möchtest Du dem ja sicherlich deutlich kompetenter als ich es könnte nachgehen, da es abgesehen von 'Zürich' und 'St. Gallen' eher am Rande meiner bisherigen Schweiz-bezogenen Tätigkeit bei Wikimedia Commons lag, was mich sehr freuen und 'Kapazitäten' für anderes liesse :-) Liebe Grüsse, Roland zh 13:16, 7 August 2013 (UTC)

Hallo Roland zh; mir ist erst jetzt aufgefallen, dass du vor ein paar Jahren bei einigen Stichen von David Herrliberger nach Emanuel Büchel die Kategorie Category:David Herrliberger entfernt hast. Das scheint mir verkehrt - gewiss, Herrliberger hat diese Stiche nach Vorlagen von Büchel angefertigt, aber es sind eben doch Stiche von Herrliberger. Sie unterscheiden sich auch durchaus in einigen Details von Büchels Zeichnungen. Die Rolle von Herrliberger als Stecher ist meines Erachtens auf jeden Fall bedeutend genug, um seine Büchel-Stiche auch unter ihm zu kategorisieren (neben Büchel, versteht sich). PS: Du hast die Herrliberger-Kategorie auch bei Stichen entfernt, bei denen Herrliberger nur der Verleger, nicht jedoch der Stecher war, z.B. File:Herrliberger Solothurn.jpg (Stich von J.R. Metzger nach Büchel) - da hast du natürlich recht, da gehört Herrliberger dann nicht als Kategorie rein. Aber dort, wo er der Stecher ist, schon... Gestumblindi (talk) 23:06, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

So you agree, i removed the related categories [Category:Learn to edit Hindi Wikipedia] and [Category:Hindi Wikipedia], so we don't 'over-categorise? Hey Roland, I agree. What I am trying to create is something like this. This will be the main category under which Category:Learn to edit Hindi Wikipedia will be a subcategory. As Instructional videos on using Hindi Wikipedia‎ will include all the instructional videos that will include the videos beyond the scope of even this project. Please let me upload the remaining videos and categorise and keep them properly. Probably after I am done with these 10 videos you could suggest me for changes. I respect your spirit but I am afraid to inform that I am not being able to properly arrange everything because of the immediate changes. Panoramafreiheit Kircheninnenaufnahmen

Lieber Roland zh ich konnte die rechtliche Streitfrage zu den Innenaufnahmen von Kirchen nun definitiv klären: Meine juristischen Recherchen in der einschlägigen Literatur hat klar ergeben, dass National- und Ständerat mit der Gesetzesänderung von 1992 die Panoramafreiheit auch auf Innenräume ausdehnen wollten. Dass die Gesetzesänderung im gedruckten französischen Gesetzestext vergessen wurde, ist juristisch irrelevant, denn in der für die Abstimmung im Parlament relevanten Marginale wurde die Änderung auch in der französichen Fassung aufgeführt. Auch mehrere von mir gefragte im Urheberrecht bewandte Rechtsanwälte haben diese Rechtsauffassung bestätigt und die kantanolen Kirchenordnungen (Bern, Solothurn und Zürich), welche das Fotografieren in den Kirchen, wenn es nicht explizit verboten wird, ausserhalb der Gottesdienste explizit erlauben, wären ja rechtswidrig, wenn man in den Kircheninnenräumen nicht fotografieren dürfte. Dann wären ja auch alle Konfirmationsfotos usw. rechtswirdig, sobald da etwa ein Kirchenfenster abgebildet ist ... - genau das wollte der Gestzgeber aber mit der Panoramafreiheit verindern. Ich schreibe das nochmals Dir persönlich, da Du besonders viele und besonders schöne solche Bilder gemacht hast und diese dürfen also definitiv bleiben. Man sollte allerdings nebst der normalen Lizenz in allen betroffenen Bildern gelegentlich noch folgende Schablone einfügen (sonst stellt dann in einigen Monaten wieder irgendwer, der diese Diskussionen nicht mitbekommen hat, einen neuen Löschantrag): {{Fop-Switzerland}}. 'Beitragen' konnte ich aus rechtlicher Sicht nichts, sodass ich mich weiterer Kommentare enthalten habe.

Im Vertrauen auf Deine juristischen Fachkenntnisse werde ich gerne die CH-Vorlage {FOP} versuchsweise (eigentlich nicht mein 'Ding') entsprechend ergänzen und danach eine Kürzestrückmeldung auf der talk page hinterlassen. Just to let you know that you nominated a .tif as a duplicate of .jpg for speedy deletion. I have rejected on grounds of file type, though if you think that it should progress, then a normal DR is the route to follow. Tamil categories

Hi Thamizhpparithi Maari, honestly i do not know exactly – i've been told before to establish categories normally in 'English', p.e. my Mother tongue uses letters as "é", "ö" etc and in the beginning all related categories have been deleted.

Within Wikimedia Common imho it's still preferred to establish English language categories, because the are claimed to be more international and therefore much more Wikimedians may understand, what i in principle (there are imo exceptions allowed) support.

But what about to add p.e. Tamil language descriptions to an English-language category, so i usually also do (p.e. German, before also in French), please see p.e. Category:Kerala and many mores :-) Kindly regards, Roland zh (talk) 22:14, 18 November 2014 (UTC)

Bots

You are receiving this message because a technical change may affect a bot, gadget, or user script you have been using. The breaking change involves API calls. This change has been planned for two years. The WMF will start making this change on 30 June 2015. A partial list of affected bots can be seen here: https://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/wikitech-l/2015-June/081931.html This includes all bots that are using pywikibot compat. Some of these bots have already been fixed. However, if you write user scripts or operate a bot that uses the API, then you should check your code, to make sure that it will not break.

What, exactly, is breaking? The "default continuation mode" for action=query requests to api.php will be changing to be easier for new coders to use correctly. To find out whether your script or bot may be affected, then search the source code (including any frameworks or libraries) for the string "query-continue". If that is not present, then the script or bot is not affected. In a few cases, the code will be present but not used. In that case, the script or bot will continue working.

This change will be part of 1.26wmf12. It will be deployed to test wikis (including mediawiki.org) on 30 June, to non-Wikipedias (such as Wiktionary) on 1 July, and to all Wikipedias on 2 July 2015.

If your bot or script is receiving the warning about this upcoming change (as seen at https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages ), it's time to fix your code!

The simple solution is to simply include the "rawcontinue" parameter with your request to continue receiving the raw continuation data (example <https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages&rawcontinue=1>). No other code changes should be necessary.
Or you could update your code to use the simplified continuation documented at https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Query#Continuing_queries (example <https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages&continue=>), which is much easier for clients to implement correctly.

Either of the above solutions may be tested immediately, you'll know it works because you stop seeing the warning.

Do you need help with your own bot or script? Ask questions in e-mail on the mediawiki-api or wikitech-l mailing lists. Volunteers at m:Tech or w:en:WP:Village pump (technical) or w:en:Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard may also be able to help you.

Are you using someone else's gadgets or user scripts? Most scripts are not affected. To find out if a script you use needs to be updated, then post a note at the discussion page for the gadget or the talk page of the user who originally made the script. I would appreciate it if you would stop using "no offence" at the beginning of your DRs. In American English, starting a sentence that way is a strong indicator that the sentence is offensive and the writer or speaker knows it and probably intends it. . Jim . . . . Dear Roland zh, Please read the latest section at User_talk:Prof_tpms#Unacceptable_Deletion_requests_and_relocations_of_Categories and keep a watch. I and my colleagues from ml community know him as a gentle and positively nice individual. He has become much more active recently after one of our annual meets held at ml community. While we respect his dedication, efforts and contributions to WM, to me, it seems, he needs some more understanding of how categories work and why most pictures are precious on WM Commons, (not just for their presentation quality, but for the information content they might subtly provide for particular topics within WP articles). He has requested for nearly 90 deletions in one day for each of which, others may not be willing to go back and add their Keep or Oppose votes. Dear ViswaPrabha (വിശ്വപ്രഭ), thank you for your message and the latest informations: you're absolutely right, and I share your impressions and experiences. As you might remarked, repeatedly I tried to take his attention to the facts you mentioned (as well in reduced dimensions on EN-WP), and 'reverted' (I don't like these kind of 'education') dozens of former 'missinterpretations' of the category system within Wikimedia Commons, and (honestly) became desparate the past two months. Nevertheless, still 'fixed' hundreds of these edits, please see also the related user talk section .... and, again, the 'request' above mentioned, once more ignoring the (from my side very frustrating) overcategorization, some hints section :-((

Regarding the the 'mass removes' you mentioned: just like you, i'm just a 'normal' Wikipedian, and no Admin, hence my 'special rights' only include the renaming of files and categories, that's all. Hence, please try to act as I tried before, by re-establishing the former 'status quo', if there's a need, even by reverting (personally, I do just in 'emergency cases', p.e. the request above mentioned), but also Payambalam Beach, for instance, and probably other of the deletion requests you mentioned, referring on [User talk:Prof tpm].

What about this 'strategy' to assist his further Wikimedia Commons contributions, and would you prefer (i do, it would be fair) to move this section 'User activity Watch' also to his user talk? So you prefer, please feel free to do so, and i'll try to 'assist' so i'll have more time again, but, honestly, in 'reduced dimensions', because there was to spend a lot of time to fix those 'edits' the past weeks. I understand exactly what you feel, for me too have much less time these days to go to each intricate details and try to 'retract' other's (though sincere and respectful) works. I think I and my colleagues can really make a difference by directly assisting him further by phone calls or instant messaging. I will try to contact him tomorrow (at a daytime) and explain the situation. Let us see how this evolves. Right today, I am only worried about some of the precious images getting deleted unfortunately. Many of them have been on commons for a long time and have been a matter of pride for many veteran Wikipedians. Some of them have been even used in media and possibly in textbooks! Hi. Can I ask you to enable the option "Remove {{Check categories}} and other minor cleanup" in Cat-a-Lot preferences (img)? You are doing a great work on re-categorizing mass-uploaded images, but other people will have to check again all those tens of thousands of images to remove the {{Check categories}} template from them. Wert geocodierter Fotos

Hallo Roland zh, du bist sehr fleißig mit Löschanträgen auf Massenuploads. Bei deiner Auswahl frage ich mich, ob dir klar ist, dass die geocodierten Fotos als Layer in Openstreetmap eingebunden werden und dort eine wertvolle Auskunft über das tatsächliche Aussehen eines bestimmten Ortes liefern. Mit File:Idukki, Kerala, India - panoramio (11).jpg würde ich vielleicht keine Artikel in Wikipedia bebildern, aber wenn ich hier in der Karte auf das Bildsymbol klicke, erfahre ich, wie die Straße an diesem Ort aussieht und welche Vegetation es dort gibt. In ein paar Jahrzehnten wird man es auch interessant finden, welche Autos dort mal fuhren. Mir fehlt die Zeit um all deine Löschanträge daraufhin überprüfen und in den Löschdiskussionen gegebenenfalls Einspruch zu erheben. Hallo Sitacuisses, fleißig mit Löschanträgen auf Massenuploads ist aber gar vereinfacht ausgedrückt: in Anbetracht meiner Gesamtbeiträge seit etwa 2007 von weit über 500'000 'edits' und rund 25'000 Bildern alleine auf Wikimedia Commons, machen die fleissigen (=CH, wo ich aufgewachsen bin ;-)) Löschanträge einen verschwindend kleinen Teil (deutlich unter 1%= meiner Beitrage) aus, dies sei bitte als meine 'Kerntätigkeit' in diesem Teilprojekt der Wikimedia Foundation zur Kenntnis genommen. Und soweit ich aufgrund Deiner Anmerkungen ersehen konnte, scheint die überwiegende Mehrheit der immer stichhaltig begründeten Löschanträge zumeist ohne 'Gegenstimmen' aus der Wikimedia community (zumindest stillschweigend) als sinnvoll erachtet worden sein. Wie Du ja selbst eingestehst, eignen sich solche panoramio uploads nicht zur Bebilderung in Wikipedia-Projekten, geschweige denn für externe Nutzer/innen, oder zu erzieherischen oder dokumentarischen Zwecken, was eigentlich seit den 2010er-Jahren der Hauptnutzen von Wikimedia Commons als internationale Bilddatenbank ist.

Gerade auch der Zusatznutzen der von Dir angesprochenen Geokodierungen, notabene, Du beziehst Dich offensichtlich auf panoramio uploads mit meinen Löschanträgen, ist mir in archivarisch-historischer Hinsicht bekannt; aber zB die Nutzung von Automobilen im Kontext mit der Biodiversität in Kerala dürfte wohl eher nicht dazu gehören, meint hiermit ein seit Jahrzehnten in diesem Bereich Tätiger, dem eigentlich Zeit und Lust dazu ansonsten fehlt und beides gerne nutzbringender einsetzt.

Meine 'Auswahl' bezieht sich seit einigen Wochen nur gerade auf qualitativ zweifelhafte paronamio uploads, d.h. wiederum konkreter auf COM:EDUSE und Commons:Project scope, und zwar nur für Südindien (mit einigen Ausnahmen gestern zur Stadt wo ich als Jugendlicher gelebt habe), wo ich mit Topografie, Flora und Fauna sowie Menschen und Kultur einigermassen vertraut bin.

Konkret bei File:Idukki, Kerala, India - panoramio (11).jpg, habe ich explizit – notabene zu Persönlichkeitsrechten – den Antrag gestellt, mass-upload of panoramio streams showing ident[i]ficable details (licence plates), hence, personality rights isusses, doubtful educational usefulness and out of scope Wikimedia Commons - your opinions ?.

Das Foto zeigt ja eine Fahrzeugkolonne mit erkennbaren Nummernschildern und teilweise auch Personen, wobei wie von Dir als Hauptargument angeführt, gerade die Topographie nur am Rande gezeigt wird... Worauf ich nun aber gerade immer achte ist dass zumindest ein, oftmals sogar fast gleichwertiges panoramio Foto vorliegt, nämlich hier File:Idukki, Kerala, India - panoramio (10).jpg, das exakt den gleichen Ort aus einem leicht geänderten Blickwinkel zeigt, wo die genannten Einschränkungen nicht gegeben sind !

Zumindest den von Dir monierten panoramio upload könntest Du ja aus Deiner Sicht auf der Seite des Löschantrags kommentieren ?
Übrigens habe ich bislang den Randbereich meiner Beiträge zum Thema fleißig mit Löschanträgen auf Massenuploads ausschliesslich nur mit dem jeweiligen Antrag explizit mit der Frage nach Meinungen der community inititiert, aber nie weiter argumentativ auf einer Löschung insistiert. Nun, ich finde alleine für die letzten zwei Tage 16 LAs von dir auf der Seite des Botbetreibers. Und wenn du Zeit für 500.000 andere Beiträge hast, habe ich noch lange nicht die aktuelle Zeit für 16 Kommentare oder eine Grundsatzdiskussion mit der Adminschaft. Zum aktuellen Bild kann ich nur sagen, dass ich keinen deiner Löschgründe für valide halte. Sichtbare Nummernschilder sind IMO kein Löschgrund. Die Perspektive von Nr 10 ist nicht nur ein bisschen anders als die von Nr. 11, sondern es ist der Gegenschuss und somit ein ganz anderes Bild. Es sind sicher auch viele valide Löschanträge dabei (ich stelle ja selber auch welche, darum landen deine über User talk:Shizhao auf meiner Beobachtungsliste), aber meine Erfahrung ist, dass Adminentscheidungen hier zum großen Teil Glücksspielcharakter haben. Je mehr LAs du stellst, um so mehr Treffer erhältst du. Man kann da nur begrenzt stolz drauf sein und sollte für andere Argumente offen bleiben und nicht z. B. die Biodiversität mit den Automobilen verbinden, wenn beides getrennt voneinander das Bild für verschiedene Normalbetrachter der Landkarte wertvoll macht. --Sitacuisses (talk) 04:07, 11 March 2017 (UTC)

Hallo und dankeschön für Dein Votum, Molsheimer, lassen wir die Sache auf dieser Benutzerseite aber doch auf sich beruhen, insbesondere da Shizhao in diesem konkreten Fall das Bild bereits vor drei Wochen gelöscht hat, so wie sie/er übrigens bei einer Vielzahl der jeweils vorgebrachten Löschanträge davor und danach getan hat. And missing EXIF data and a rather small format is not a deletion reason. Please add a more compelling reason why you suspect copyvio (like you found it elsewhere online – it is pretty tiresome for closing admins to check this, and DR's are already very backlogged). Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
To perform file name swaps.
When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning.
