Thanks for uploading Image:B14_50.gif. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. you haven't well read the text on the top of the page. Except if i mwas mistaken, i had indicated the adress of this governmental site. ("French government can't demand any right about the intellectual property for the use by other people of these picture"). That is to say that there is no copyright. Thanks for uploading File:Loiret-2015-canton-Chalette.svg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).
The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Loiret-2015-canton-Chalette.svg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.
What does that means? The decret is a reglementary texte and then public. The geofra is free too, look at the licenese. And the drawning has been made by myself, such as thousands others. There is no OTRS license to ask. If it is the "own work" that lackes, i add it.Roulex 45 (talk) 04:46, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.
If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.
Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content: images and other media files that can be used by anyone, for any purpose.
File:Pont Morandi-OSM.jpg seems to be free (or it would be proposed for deletion), but it was identified as having a wrong license. Usually, it is because a public domain image is tagged with a free license, or because the stated source or other information is not sufficient to prove the selected tag is correct. Please verify that you applied the correct license tag for this file.
If you believe this file has the correct license, please explain why on the file discussion page.
The reason given by the user who added this tag is: OpenStreetMap data seems to be licensed under Open Database License (ODbL), with map tiles licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0. In particular, see Template:OpenStreetMap. A simple screenshot without additional creativity from the author/uploader (User:Roland45) claiming the work as {{self}} may not exceed the threshold of originality to be eligible for its own copyright.
Cordialement.Roland45 (talk) 08:07, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for uploading File:84-Vaucluse-enclave des papes.png. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Bonjour Roland,
Cordialement.Roland45 (talk) 14:22, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

As far as I can see, none of the files called for in this gallery actually exist. It should therefore be deleted. Please add the files soon or I will delete it. . Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 14:19, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Jameslwoodward Hi. It's true. Such as it's too true that I have uploaded more than 20 000 files. And you can imagine than to upload so lot of files, it needs somme organisation. This page (such as some other ones) are pages with which I can see what is uploaded and what is'nt. Then if you wait for few days, this gallery will be entirely filled of files. I don't see where is the urgency to delete this page.Roland45 (talk) 17:03, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Normally I delete incorrect galleries on sight, so there was no urgency here. It would be good, however, if you did not create the gallery until at least two of its files exist. . Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 16:16, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Jameslwoodward Have you seen that here we are not in the main space but on a page of a user ? I think that these pages of users have'nt the same status than the others and should haven't to be treated as the same way. But as I see that I'm being watched, I'll try to avoid red links (links without files) ... even though these pages are specially intended to verify if all files of a category are uploaded!! .Roland45 (talk) 18:49, 27 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That would be an interesting question if the file name were User:Roland45/gallery-Cartes-QGIS-26-Sols -- in your own space, you have much more freedom. However the file named above (and many others) are not in your user space -- they are main space galleries and main space rules apply. I suggest that in the future you include the "User:" prefix in the file name. . Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 21:40, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Bonsoir Roland,
Nezdek (talk) 20:30, 3 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Or elles existent déjà (dans les catégories "Maps of XXX"). --Poudou99 (talk) 09:22, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Poudou99: Oui. Cordialement.Roland45 (talk) 09:49, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cordialement, --Poudou99 (talk) 15:37, 18 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Poudou99: Oui.
Comme je l'ai dit, ces cartes sont déjà utilisées dans les articles des communes concernées et, selon mon point de vue, il n'y a pas d'autres utilisations possibles. Donc tout affinement de la catégorisation serait purement cosmétique ;
comme vous, d'autres ont argué qu'il fallait catégoriser non pas à la commune, mais selon la catégorie "map of communes de xx " (car en matière de catégorisation, il n'y a en fait pas de limites!), sauf que là aussi, toutes ces catégories n'existent pas pour toutes les communes de France, ce n'est donc pas automatisable par un bot, sauf à créer par un bot spécial préalablement ces catégories manquantes ;
Bonjour Roland45.
Meilleurs sentiments,
--ChristianeB (talk) 08:30, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Bonjour @ChristianeB: Oui.
Birdie (talk) 12:57, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Roland45, apologies for writing in English. Thank you very much for all the "cartes des sols"! I've started using them on the Dutch Wikipedia. Will keep me occupied for quite some time.;) MartinD (talk) 14:44, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Bonjour Roland45.
Thank you for uploading some images!
Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.) Thanks, and happy editing!
Bonjour.

Merci. Thanks for uploading File:24111-La Chapelle-Montmoreau-Routes-Hydro.png.
Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.
Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

[The data used comes from the Propluvia website and is public and freely downloadable in .csv format. The chart formatting was done next.

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have grantedautopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. —Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 01:23, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Hydrographic_maps_of_Côtes-d'Armor_by_commune has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.
In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!
