Československo
Československo, také Česko-Slovensko (krátce ale opakovaně). Oficiální názvy: Československá republika (uváděno také jako Republika československá, ČSR), Československá socialistická republika (ČSSR), nebo Česká a Slovenská federativní republika (ČSFR). Stát ve střední Evropě, který existoval od 28. října 1918 do 31. prosince 1992. Vznikl po 1. světové válce jako jeden z nástupnických států rozpadlého Rakouska-Uherska. Zahrnoval území Čech, Moravy, Českého Slezska (jižní část Slezska), Slovenska a Podkarpatské Rusi („Horní Uhry“).

Czechoslovakia was a country in Central Europe that existed from October 1918, when it declared its independence from the Austro-Hungarian Empire, until 1992 (with a government-in-exile during the World War II period). On January 1, 1993, Czechoslovakia peacefully split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
